I toured the community and found everyone to be friendly. I was impressed with the activities and how the residents are able to use the activity room to do crafts. The gentleman who makes the a shell boxes was friendly and does a very nice job. Everyone seemed to be happy. Had a good feel for the community.

We checked out several assisted living places for our elderly parents; Atria best suited their needs. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff members. The residents we spoke with seemed truly happy to be living there, and the administrators were exceptionally caring and attentive to our parents' needs. Sadly, despite our positive feelings about Atria, our parents decided they're not ready to make the move. It's good to know this wonderful place exists!

I would like to use the word genuine to describe Atria. There is a feeling of warmth and sincerity that permeates Atria. The management (and employees!) have such a heart for their work. Plus it is fun!! There are endless inventive activities and themes for holidays etc. The food is teriffic. Everyone is super friendly including the residents! I give Atria the topmost rating!

I have been in independent living for almost 2 years and love living here. I have my own 2 bedroom apartment, and the apartment is dutifully cleaned by a wonderful cleaner every week. The food is delicious, and the staff are supportive and helpful. There are numerous activities here as well as outings to restaurants, movies, and theater events. I highly recommend living here!

My brother-in-law needed to move into memory care suddenly. I have no words to describe the help, compassion, and genuine caring the entire Campana staff gave my sister and her husband. Everyone including the director (Suzanne), office, sales (Vickie), housekeeping (Luz) and maintenance staff (Jose) were helping every step of the way from finding furniture (including a bed) to getting the TV connected. The employees at Atria not only supported us with this process but made the transition comfortable for our family under very difficult circumstances. The memory care staff (Kim) are very dedicated to their residents and families. They truly love what they do. Thank you Campana for helping make this move so smooth for my sister and her husband. Campana del Rio is one of the best retirement communities I have ever encountered. Campana truly is a family. Thank you!

Atria Campana del Rio has been the perfect station in my recovery from an emotional breakdown and depression in my young life. I am 62, found myself and spirit needing a break from the troubles of this world. I am no longer suffering but thriving. I enjoy the day to day life and use the theatre and some of the live events outside Atria like going to local plays and sight seeing at local missions, murals, trips to the mall, attending Church services and my psychological therapy sessions. The staff is excellent and their is a great deal of kindness coming from the residents along with the staff. Soon I will be getting on with life and moving into my own apartment and fending to my own needs. The time here has been exemplary, the facility is well maintained, safe and I have enjoyed my time here. I feel happy and ready to face life again fully.

Highly recommend!!! My mom was reluctant to leave her house where she lived alone, but had grown tired of making meals and cleaning dishes and pots, and was a bit lonely. She decided to try Atria Campana del Rio for a month and never looked back. She enjoys the excellent food, the lively conversations with other residents, and the fantastic dedicated and caring staff who assist her in any way they can. She also goes on field trips to places like Patagonia, Bisbee, and the San Xavier del Bac Mission (where the group has lunch in a local cafe or enjoys a picnic), participates in exercise and art classes, and goes to movies in the residence's theater. Finally, she'd want to give a shout out to the new management at the residence, which has been a breath of fresh air.

We have a family member at Atria Campana del Rio and have been so happy with everything about this community. He is in their Villas, which are beautiful, large stand alone 2-bdrm condos with a large backyard patio area. There isn’t anything like these except the ultra exclusive places that cost a fortune. The facilities are like a nice country club or resort. Food is great and staff is so kind and friendly. We feel so blessed to have found this senior living facility.

Atria is absolutely amazing!!!! The staff is SO helpful and extremely friendly. The food is out of this world. We’ve lived in several retirement communities and Campana is the best!!! The grounds are beautiful as are the apartments. We love how quiet it is. Thank you to the entire staff for working so hard to give us such a wonderful retirement experience.

I met with Victoria (Vicki) Nash to tour Atrua Campana. Vicki is terrific. She is professional, courteous and friendly. She showed me around:and patiently answered my many questions. I explained that I wanted a view of the Catalina Mountains. She called after a couple days to report she had what I was looking for. She was right. I leased the apartment right away.

Staff are friendly and helpful. A smattering of residents are kooky but the majority are very pleasant. Building and grounds reminiscent of a resort hotel. Very convenient to the Tucson Bike Loop, Bookmans on Stone, Trader Jose’s, Tucson Mall.

I am very happy in Atria’s assisted living. It’s clean, convenient, helpful, pleasant, good exercise classes, pet friendly, nice happy hour, with plenty of parking. It’s a bit shabby, poorly maintained, poor dinning service, mediocre American food, no nursing or medical staff, and pricey. It hasn’t recovered from a fire six months ago. And several male and female residents are bullies and very rude towards people with disabilities. But reportedly, Atria is the best of its class in Tucson.

If an employee cannot help me they ALWAYS find someone who can. The front desk people are wonderful in this regard. Lately I've had a number of repair requests in my apartment and the service guys have ALWAYS responded in a reasonable time and fixed them.

My husband and I have been at Compana for almost a year and a half. What first attracted us here were the beautiful big trees and the excellent landscaping. Since then we have found it to be a super friendly community with a special staff at all levels, who are interested, and ready to help you out with whatever you need.

There is so much to do here, and the food is really very good. The staff are wonderful - front desk, dining rooms and the higher uppers. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the residents are, for the most part, very happy and cheerful. Everyone is helpful and friendly.

I had to write this review because of Jordan. He works in the dining hall. He is so patient and sweet. The way the residents run him around is almost comical. He says, "Would you like butter and syrup?" The resident says no and waves him off. Ten seconds later the same resident is flagging him down to ask for butter and syrup. He smiles and says, "Of course." Jordan is the kind of person you want taking care of your family member's daily needs. From what I can tell, this is generally the vibe among all the staff at this Atria. My family member has been here 9 years and doesn't miss a chance to mention how much she loves it, especially her little apartment. She is well taken care of. The only big downside is that it's already extremely expensive and they keep raising the rent. Fwiw, I think they should soften the rent increases on existing residents and reserve the higher prices for new residents who aren't coming in with an expectation of affordability. These people are often on a fixed income when they move in, after all. Some are forced to move when it becomes unaffordable within just a few short years. But Jordan, well, he is a bright ray of sunshine for those who can afford to call this place home.

My grandmother lived at Atria in the 80's and my mother lives there now. We love the staff and the wonderful activities available to the residents. The restaurant provides wonderful food and great service, their home made ice cream is offered at every meal. The buildings are well maintained and offer lots of social areas where the residents can gather. If you need a safe place for a loved one to live you should visit Atria Campana del Rio.

My 90 year old mother had a shoulder replacement repair on 11/20/22, after which she was placed in a substandard rehab (using the term *rehab* VERY loosely) on 12/7. Her muscle tone was poor, and she was unable to do much of anything unassisted. She lost 8 pounds while there, and we discovered she was being given 50 mg of tramadol FOUR times a day by rehab staff. Insurance kicked her off as she wasn't showing improvement, go figure... Flash forward to the search for an assisted living facility as she was completely unable to return home, and we found Atria Campana del Rio. I got Mom in there on the 6th of January, and I had to come home on the 7th. When I returned to Tucson on the 8th of February to prep her house for sale, I saw profound changes to my mother's physical well being. She entered the Atria facility in a wheelchair, and by the time I got back, I found she was moving around her apartment well, and using her walker for security. She is very much back to how she was when we celebrated her 90th birthday in June. I give all credit to the staff at Atria for helping my mother get her life back in ONE month, and I look forward to her continued improvement. They have lowered her tier of assisted care, which has resulted in a lowered bill. We both enjoy the food in the dining room, and I cannot think of enough nice things to say about the care and handling my mother receives there.***

I have been in many assisted living communities with several family members over the years and what makes Campana del Rio rise above the rest is their incredible staff, each and every member I interacted with treated me and my family members with so much love and respect, true caring and compassion. For the last few months, my family and I have had to face one of life’s most difficult challenges, helping two of our elderly loved ones find a safe and secure place in a new state where they can truly feel at home. Thanks to the caring staff here at Atria Campana del Rio we have found that special place. While the journey of transition has been overwhelming both physically and emotionally at times, I am very grateful to Kevin, Vicki, Theo, Debra, Jessica and Erin for all of their support and care, not only for making this experience so positive for me and my family but for helping me to feel personally cared for. They have truly gone far beyond the extra mile in extending warm hospitality and sincere practical support whenever I have needed it. I have seen DOZENS of senior living facilities in Tucson and Pima county, and none left me feeling so confident in the resident's quality of life as Atria, Campana del Rio. Having worked for a temp-staffing agency, I was sent to work within a handful of different senior livings in any given month. I have seen the inner workings and what goes on behind-the-scenes and it only made me worry for my own parents receiving adequate care when they chose a senior community. Until I came to Atria. Residents are well cared for and happy. The staff is dedicated, hardworking and compassionate. Food is great, and the amenities make it 5-star living. Overall, it's a great place for anyone looking for assisted living, memory care, or independent senior living.

I needed to move our dad from an independent living facility in San Diego to a graduated care facility in Tucson. I have Lived at Campana Del Rio for nearly 6 years, my how time flies! I love it here, I have made so many good friends , the staff is like family many of them have worked here for decades, the food is fantastic and there are many activities to choose from. Since living here I have had three of my friends decide to move in after visiting me, and that says a lot. This is a great place to be, I feel safe and happy here.

Mom moved into Independent Living at Atria on June 4th and the entire experience has been wonderful! Mom is trying out all the activities offered, enjoying good meals, loves having housekeeping take care of everything and the maintenance crew comes by quickly upon request to hang pictures, etc. Not only are the staff cheerful and friendly, but the residents are too! That's a pretty good sign of a well run community.

CDR memory care unit does hire caregivers that are kind and caring, but the turnover is so great that no one who was there when my mom moved in was still there when we had to leave 20 months later. Please be aware that the facility is not staffed for a two person transfer, so if your loved one requires that along the way you may need to make a difficult move , unless you are able to provide 24 hour support at an additional cost. We never anticipated that my mom would have to moved from the home we created for her there, and the move was very hard someone who is in the late stages of Alzheimer's. When looking for a new home, we made sure the staff turnover was low and that the facility could handle all stages of decline, so that my mother will be able to end her life with dignity in the comfort of her new home.

There are many communities to choose from in Tucson. Some are much better than others. I manage a team of Realtors who work with Senior's in transition, and am familiar with most of them. I have friends, clients and neighbors who have moved to Atria Campana del Rio, and the feedback is REALLY good. Ask for Hope when you call, she is amazing!

My father has lived here for 3 years and loves it. There are plenty of activities and outings. Very welcoming environment, staff are great and plan a lot of family events. The food is pretty good, too.
