When you find a senior living community where the majority of staff has been there over 5 (and more) years, there is something good going on! The staff is what makes Atria Campana; friendly, caring, and going above and beyond! You can feel the "good vibe"! This is a must see for your loved ones!

Staff are friendly and helpful. A smattering of residents are kooky but the majority are very pleasant. Building and grounds reminiscent of a resort hotel. Very convenient to the Tucson Bike Loop, Bookmans on Stone, Trader Jose's, Tucson Mall.

Very nice senior living facility in the Catalina Foothills in Tucson, Arizona. I moved in a few weeks ago, and am so glad I did! People are nice, food is great, and activities are numerous and engaging!

My 90 year old mother had a shoulder replacement repair on 11/20/22, after which she was placed in a substandard rehab (using the term rehab VERY loosely) on 12/7. Her muscle tone was poor, and she was unable to do much of anything unassisted. She lost 8 pounds while there, and we discovered she was being given 50 mg of tramadol FOUR times a day by rehab staff. Insurance kicked her off as she wasn't showing improvement, go figure... Flash forward to the search for an assisted living facility as she was completely unable to return home, and we found Atria Campana del Rio. I got Mom in there on the 6th of January, and I had to come home on the 7th. When I returned to Tucson on the 8th of February to prep her house for sale, I saw profound changes to my mother's physical well being. She entered the Atria facility in a wheelchair, and by the time I got back, I found she was moving around her apartment well, and using her walker for security. She is very much back to how she was when we celebrated her 90th birthday in June. I give all credit to the staff at Atria for helping my mother get her life back in ONE month, and I look forward to her continued improvement. They have lowered her tier of assisted care, which has resulted in a lowered bill. We both enjoy the food in the dining room, and I cannot think of enough nice things to say about the care and handling my mother receives there.

My grandmother lived at Atria in the 80's and my mother lives there now. We love the staff and the wonderful activities available to the residents. The restaurant provides wonderful food and great service, their home made ice cream is offered at every meal. The buildings are well maintained and offer lots of social areas where the residents can gather. If you need a safe place for a loved one to live you should visit Atria Campana del Rio.

My recent experience with Atria was above and beyond wonderful. I have been in many assisted living communities with several family members over the years and what makes Campana del Rio rise above the rest is their incredible staff, each and every member I interacted with treated me and my family members with so much love and respect, true caring and compassion. If you are looking for a place for your family to call home you will not be disappointed with the care you will receive from the people that work here.

For the last few months, my family and I have had to face one of lifes most difficult challenges, helping two of our elderly loved ones find a safe and secure place in a new state where they can truly feel at home. Thanks to the caring staff here at Atria Campana del Rio we have found that special place. While the journey of transition has been overwhelming both physically and emotionally at times, I am very grateful to Kevin, Vicki, Theo, Debra, Jessica and Erin for all of their support and care, not only for making this experience so positive for me and my family but for helping me to feel personally cared for. They have truly gone far beyond the extra mile in extending warm hospitality and sincere practical support whenever I have needed it. I look forward to visiting here often and seeing the big smiles on the faces of my loved ones; evidence of the dedication of the staff here to creating and maintaining a peaceful and happy environment for all those who happily call Atria Campana del Rio Home.

I have seen DOZENS of senior living facilities in Tucson and Pima county, and none left me feeling so confident in the residents quality of life as Atria, Campana del Rio. Having worked for a temp-staffing agency, I was sent to work within a handful of different senior livings in any given month. I have seen the inner workings and what goes on behind-the-scenes and it only made me worry for my own parents receiving adequate care when they chose a senior community. Until I came to Atria. Residents are well cared for and happy. The staff is dedicated, hardworking and compassionate. Food is great, and the amenities make it 5-star living. Overall, its a great place for anyone looking for assisted living, memory care, or independent senior living.

I needed to move our dad from an independent living facility in San Diego to a graduated care facility in Tucson. Many challenges were presented, but the staff at Atria Campana del Rio made things go exceptionally smooth. From Kevin to Fonda, Lisa and Jodi what a help they have been. Campana Del Rio is a fantastic place, my mother spent 4 wonderful years there, she made lasting friendships and enjoyed the many activities. The staff were like family and most of all extremely on top of it when she did have a crisis situation. I love the place and so did she!

Mom moved into Independent Living at Atria on June 4th and the entire experience has been wonderful! Mom is trying out all the activities offered, enjoying good meals, loves having housekeeping take care of everything and the maintenance crew comes by quickly upon request to hang pictures, etc. Not only are the staff cheerful and friendly, but the residents are too! That's a pretty good sign of a well run community.

There are many communities to choose from in Tucson. Some are much better than others. I manage a team of Realtors who work with Senior's in transition, and am familiar with most of them. I have friends, clients and neighbors who have moved to Atria Campana del Rio, and the feedback is REALLY good. Ask for Hope when you call, she is amazing!

EDIT: Under new management. EVERYTHING has changed. Since they did a total revamp of the staff and management, the thefts have stopped and this is no longer a community where you feel you must lock your valuables in a chest or else lose them. This has finally become a COMMUNITY where you can trust that you can leave your apartment or unattached villia without worry that you'll come back and find your jewlery and emergency money missing. It is shocking how much has changed for the better!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of trying out Atria's community located at 1550 E. River Road in Tucson, AZ over several days. It was a very positive experience. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment like those occupied by residents in the main building. (Surrounding the building are units with two bedrooms and covered parking). There is a "good vibe" here: the staff is friendly, the building is well maintained and cheerful, and residents are seen conversing in the lobby or in the shade of the large covered porch, enjoying the complimentary beverages provided. The building is quiet--we never heard any noise from the adjacent apartments. Each day's activities are posted along with the day's menu. We partook of a lovely Sunday brunch and noted the congenial atmosphere. Special thanks to our gracious host, Claes Ommegard, Community Sales Director.
