We looked at 4 Assisted Memory Care places for our father, a couple were huge, a couple were brand new, but THIS place felt like HOME! The staff are all so CARING and PERSONABLE, but most importantly…..COMPASSIONATE to those in their care and made us all feel like our father would be looked after and he IS! Thank you to The Gardens of Sun City and ALL who work there, for EVERYTHING you do!

Michelle (Executive Director) and Hillary ( Community Relations) went above and beyond to assist placing my 93 year old Dad as quickly as possible to ensure he had a safe place to go after his hospital visit. I highly recommend this place, as he raves about the food, it has a lovely, warm feeling and everyone is so friendly. They are exceptional. Thanks for a great experience!

I am writing this review for my wife of 44 years who passed away last week at the Gardens. I could not say enough about how wonderful this place is. From the administration (Hillary, Michelle) down to the people that check you into the facility daily(Stephanie, Pattie) and everyone in between, these are the nicest people I have ever met in a facility this large. My wife was on the memory unit & they really understood how to care for people with memory issues. The aids checked on her every 2-3 hours to see if she had any issues, the place was clean, & the food was terrific. The overwhelming feeling was how much everyone cared for my wife & that meant a lot to me even though she was only there 2 months. If I could I would give this place 10 stars.

I'm so pleased with the care that my Mother received at The Gardens of Sun City! Mother recently passed away, the nurses, caregivers, receptionists, activity personnel, maintenance staff, & chef's were ALL excellent to her in every aspect. Mother and I could not have asked for more! Mother even told me, she liked living there. She was in the memory care wing, where she made friends, and I was lucky enough to be able to visit mother almost everyday. Thank you all again for being our hero's!

My mother was a resident here for the last 3 + years. The staff could not have been more caring. They met her changing needs allowing my mother the grace and dignity to chose her own care. On moving in, one of the staff noticed my siblings and I leaving mother for the first time with tears in our eyes. She said don't worry about your mother, she's mine now but you can come to visit. I soon found out this was a big family who cared for each other. Can't recommend this home any highly. Thanks to all who cared so lovingly for my mother. Marilyn Caldwell

A caring community and staff, that my dad can call his family! Such great love and attention has created well being and contentment for my dad. I see the respect, and focus on health, the staff has for it's residents. There are always great activities planned, and the meals are amazing here! I truly feel my dad is in nurturing and professional hands here at the Gardens of sun City! I truly give them 5 stars!!!

My opinions and impression of The Gardens of Sun City. Over the past few years I have had three friends who have been guests of Gardens. I highly value there services and level of care. The efficient manner in which this facility operates is due to the highly competent staffing in all of service. Management is a professional staff and understands requirements of running a quality care facility. The care givers are skilled at providing care, displaying patience and friendliness to the guests. Meal service is very appetizing and nutritious. Presentation is very well done in a pleasant atmosphere by personable servers. I highly recommend this community the staff is amazing and will always look go above your expectations. I have attended a number of events at this 5 star property and they always have high energy. Resident always seem to be happy and active. The food is tremendous.

As a health care professional in the community, I've seen most of the assisted living communities around west Phoenix. The staff at The Gardens of Sun City is absolutely top notch. The genuine approach they take toward caring for people is unparalleled. The grounds are immaculate and the interior is always kept sparkling and scent-free. This is one of the true, long-lasting gems in the senior living arena.

I would recommend this 5star community. There staff are always pleasant and greet you with a smile. I have attended many events here facility is always clean. Resident are out and about enjoying there home. Food is amazing.

This facility and it's employee's are truly amazing. My grandmother spent her last few weeks here and they made her comfortable and calm. They would visit with her daily, so she never felt alone. We tried to be there almost everyday, but when we couldn't be, they were. They were very informative and really helped us in during such a hard time for our family.

Both my Mother and Father in Law lived at the Gardens needing a high level of care. The Administrator, Paula, Marketing Staff Joe and Stacey, Office personnel, kitchen, Nurses and caregiving staff were all caring and attentive to their needs from the move in and throughout their stay. They were kind and supportive too to all friends and family members who came to visit. The cost of care was reasonable and everyone couldnt have been more professional. I know they were well taken care of in the final chapter of their lives. I highly recommend this well kept Assisted Living home. It feels like home when you walk in the door.

Start your search here....My father has been at The Gardens since last year. This is a wonderful community. One visit is all that it takes to recognize the happiness that permeates everyone and everything in the building. The staff is compassionate and understanding of all of their residents needs, from a simple hello and hug in the morning to personal care needed on a daily basis. There is always some sort of fun and engaging activity going on. The food is out of this world. There is no doubt that all of our friends and family understand that there is only one choice when they ask our opinion on senior living in the West Valley.

After spending a considerable amount of time researching and visiting many assisted living facilities, our family has learned a lot. The list of places we were blown away by is very short. The staff and over all "feel" at The Gardens of Sun City are at the top of our choices. If you are limited on time for visiting, The Gardens should be your first stop. They have a wonderful staff, who obviously care deeply for their residents and what they do everyday. We were introduced to staff members from many departments, and all were very knowledgeable and friendly. The building is beautiful and makes you feel at home right away. We were invited to stay for lunch and the food is superb. Our choice has been made and I hope that this will help direct other families who are in need of quality care for their loved ones.

Wonderful family-type atmosphere. Had a wonderful tour with Bethany. You could really tell how she cared for her residents. She even gave me some valuable information on other communities in the area and helped narrow my search. Will be viewing some other communities to make sure but The Gardens will definitely be in the running for my grandmother.
