it giving off high vibrations from the Airconditioners putting out a lot of noise for the residents across from and they need to be lowered, so we don't hear them 24 hours a day. I was over there this morning sound meter and they were a little on the high. No wonder I hear them 24 hours a day when I am in my Bedroom.. Makes it very hard to sleep with constanly pounding. Could they be turned down some to help us sleep better at night. Thank you

I have lived here at The Palms at Sun City since March of 2022. I absolutely love it here. I would like to give a review for my Independent Plus Resident Service Provider, Nelcy Hubbs and her Manager, Gena Yates. These two women have gone above and beyond the call of duty so many times I couldn't count. Both these ladies are pleasant, professional, helpful, considerate, and truly cares about all of the Residents here. I truly do not think I could live here without all the work and care they provide. Both these ladies get Five + Stars every day of the week! I could never say Thank you enough for all you two have done for me.

Our mother was in assisted living here for several years. The service levels were always high, and she enjoyed all the staff that cared for her. They were kind, and gave her great care. She has just passed on, but her last years were so much better because many of them went out of their way to give great care.

My mom lived in this facility for many years and was very happy there, though it declined some in quality when it changed ownership a couple of years ago. Then Stellar Living bought it last year, which made a world of difference. Unfortunately my mom died last month after almost 99 years. The staff at Stellar has been outstanding at helping us through this process.

My grandmother lives here its a great place and its like Fort Knox if u dont live there u must sign in take a temperature reading and show a vaccine card. Its clean good people great place to live

My husband and I are exploring independent living options in the Sun City and Sun City West areas. This morning, we, along with our niece, were treated to a tour of The Palms. Julia Cilley, Family Advisor at The Palms, was our tour guide. Julia was a delight as she showed us the various apartments, the pool and garden areas and shared with us the countless other amenities. She listened to our needs, answered our questions (we will have more, Im sure!) and provided us with the kind of detailed information needed to help us make an informed decision for this next step in our lives. Sometimes the website photos and videos of a community like this do not reflect the reality--they look too good to be true. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the fact that everything depicted on The Palms website is exactly how it looks in person. Its beautiful and obviously maintained and managed by people who care.

We are in the process of moving my mom in and the process has been very straightforward and easy. Julia has been our contact and she has been extremely helpful and great to work with. I plan to post again after mom has been there awhile as an update. We expect she will have a great situation going forward.

I work for a provider that sees residents at The Palms at Sun City. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, common areas are decorated so cute for all the holidays. Residents are always clean and presentable. You can tell that the staff here take pride in their work and truly care about the ones who live there.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly and takes great care of everyone there. They have taken effective precautions in keeping my grandmother safe from this crazy COVID world we have been surviving. I just want to say thank you to them all and to Sheri for helping us out with the process.

My father-in-law lives in the independent living and it has been a positive experience with the recent change to The Palms part of the Stellar Living Community. We have added help 1 day a week for a couple of hours from Stellar and he is extremely happy. The staff is extremely caring and their priority is the safety, health and well being of their residents.

We moved our mom in just recently. And she is beyond happy. The staff is amazing. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Her apartment is bright-sunny, spacious and a great transition from her home she lived in for 35 years. She has raved about the food and has made loads of friends already. After having tremendous apprehensions about giving up her independence, its such a comfort to know she is happy and loves where she is living now! AND she has recruited her friends to join her!

When at went on my hunt for a suitable place for my mother to live. I toured 4 places. The Palms was beautiful, the tour guide was amazing. Answered all questions with great detail and brought up some good details that I hadnt thought of yet. Best place of all four.

I came into the Palms looking for a suitable place for my mom. The people were so friendly and helpful, I was instantly comfortable! The property is beautiful and the location is perfect, since, I live in Peoria. Thanks for making this process of finding a place for mom a little easier!

The only reason I didnt give this place 5 stars is because the remodeling is still in the planning phase. We have lived here for almost 2 years now, and we are very happy. The apartments are the biggest you will find anywhere and are very quiet. Beautiful grounds with lots of trees. We lived through the prior management debacle and greeted Stellar with great relief in December. They have improved almost every facet of life here. Breakfasts are now wonderful! Food in general is improving. My husband now drags me out of bed each morning so he can get down to the dining room for his eggs! The flooring samples are looking great, and the painting should be starting soon as we begin to open up this month. (Almost all of us have now received both Covid vaccinations thanks to Stellars efforts.) Activities are beginning to resume, and people are moving in. By summer, I expect to see us approaching capacity. So, if you moved out in the last year due to the management here, come take another look! We miss you!

The staff are all amazing. They treat the residents like family. And by that I mean one big happy family. The sales-leasing reps (Sheri, Julia and David) will assist you in finding the perfect apartment home for yourself or other family members whether it be independent or assisted needs. Bang for buck - its a steal. Check it out! I know we will consider when the time comes.

We moved my brother Gary into this facility last year from another one nearby that had several COVID cases. His room is fantastic with a deck and a view of the pool. He has met several new friends and enjoys all the amenities, especially the exercise facility. Its a fantastic place and everyone is friendly. Best move we ever make! My brother is extremely happy there!

We chose The Palms for several reasons: the variety of activities, including Bible Studies, the library, game rooms, gym, the swimming pool, and beautiful courtyards. The Staff members, from Sales Personnel to dining room servers, have been very attentive to our needs. The Maintenance Personnel have quickly responded whenever we needed anything done. During the pandemic we were well cared for, and our Covid-19 vaccinations were well organized and expedited. We enjoy good times with our fellow residents, who are friendly and caring. Were pleased to be a part of The Palms community.

when we first put our mom in this facility it was called Brookdale, full staff great food etc, Atria bought them out and the food along with the service went right out the door. They were giving yearly rent increases of about 25% over a 3 year time period, 2018-5.98%, 2019-6.58% and 2020- 9.66%, when we moved her in we were informed that 5% would be the maximum increase on any given year. This was when the cost of living index ranged from .03% to 2.8% for said years. Her apartment flooded due to a broken water pipe in the ceiling on about 1/16/20 and rendered the place unusable for the next 5 months, no access to her stuff yet they continued to charge rent and refused to talk to us on how unreasonable that was. After a couple of months they agreed to cut the rent in half until the work was done offering no other option. So we were paying big dollars while not being able to use the place at all. 5 months to do repairs that should have taken a few weeks or a month was ridiculous. Needless to say we moved our mom out of there. It seems to me that this company is not in the service of benefiting the elderly but rather taking advantage of them. They should be ashamed. My mother in law rented apartment 262. I certainly cannot recommend this facility in any way, shape or form. Consider yourself informed Clark Dodd

I am a placement agent and am always looking for facilities to offer my clients. I recently placed a client here at Atria. My client is settled, happy and meeting new friends. The staff, throughout the process, were helpful, professional and went above and beyond for me...and my client. Kudos to Julia, who was there each and every time my client or i had a question, she is the heart of this place. Great job! I will be keeping in touch with my client going forward, to ensure she continues to be happy, but I have no doubts.

The units at Atria are the biggest that we have seen. The facility seems to be clean and well maintained. Lunch was delicious and provided a good variety of choices, I was impressed that Atria pays half of the yearly fees to join Sun City Rec if you want to join for more recreational opportunities.

I went to see and tour the community for my friends. In my experience they were all courteous and polite. There were incentives for moving in but the choice was up to my friends and they felt this was not the best fit.
