My mother has been a resident at Brookdale for about 3 years. The staff not only gave her excellent care, but also took the time to look out for my father as well. This was not just making him feel like part of the family when he visited, which they always did - but also arranging group discussions with other families with loved ones who have Alzheimers, and even dropping by with lunch at his home on occasion. When our father passed away this spring there were so many worries trying to get all his affairs in order. The staff and administration were unbelievably helpful in making sure insurance and other issues were taken care of. With all the complexity of dealing with banks and pensions and the house while we were grieving, it was such a relief that the least of our worries was if Mom was receiving quality care. When ever we contact them or they contact us it feels like we have good friends at Brookdale. That is very much appreciated.

We were very fortunate to find Brookdale to care for my mother. She was also very fortunate to recover from a delicate situation. The staff was very understanding and truly cared for the well being of all the patients. If the a day comes that help is needed again, I would not hesitate to contact Brookdale again.

This place is highly recommended. The staff is SUPER friendly.Very clean, positive atmosphere and very up lifting . My father in law seems to really enjoy it here.He loves the food here, he always has 2 helping with all his meals. The staff always knows us by name. They have activities through out the day.

I am so happy with Brookdale. The staff and especially Jackie are so attentive. Putting my mom in a memory care facility was a tough decision but Brookdale has made it an easier transition. I am so blessed that we found this place.

When I could not longer care for my husband at home, Brookdale Camino del Sol took him in, entertained him, treated him like family and most importantly of all, kept him safe and well cared for. The facilities are always very clean, have a fresh smell and the residents look like they are enjoying life as well as can be expected. There is always something going on, something to keep people engaged. The staff is kind, gentle and patient and worked with me to make the environment best for my husband. I am so glad to have found Brookdale Camino del Sol to care for my husband.

My Mom was a resident at Brookdale Camino del Sol for over 3 1-2 years, until her passing in July 2019. We always found the facility to be a clean and safe environment. There was an excellent variety of activities to keep the residents engaged on a daily basis. Lots of musical programs, bingo, exercise, games, religious activities in which to participate EVERY DAY. What we appreciated most was the staff. We always found the front line staff to be caring and friendly to my Mom and very responsive to all of the familys requests. Like every assisted-living facility, they experience employee turnover. However, we also found a core of employees who served as the backbone of the staff, not just because of their employment longevity; but because they simply enjoyed the residents and enjoyed working at Camino del Sol. When my Mom eventually had to go into hospice care, she was able to remain in her room and the hospice care team that Brookdale provided us helped my Mom and her family during a difficult time. My wife has dementia. I had placed her in an assisted living facility for two weeks of respite, hoping the facility would become her residence. However, it was not to be. So we were back to the drawing board, so to speak. That is when I received a call from the sales manager at Brookdale Camino Del Sol. She had pursued us several months prior, so when she called, all of a sudden, I was interested in talking with them. The pandemic was in full swing and Brookdale was in shutdown. After some negotiations, both my wife and I entered Brookdale, going immediately into quarantine. They furnished us with a beautiful large apartment and lavished us with gifts and anything we asked for. After two weeks of quarantine I moved back home. They allowed me to pick out the private room that my wife would be moved to. They went so far as to paint the room and install a new and beautiful floor. While this work was being done, they allowed my wife to stay in the large apartment. I purchased new furniture for her room and the maintenance man assembled it. Brookdale, in my mind, is a first class facility. The employees go out of their way to accommodate people. They are well staffed 24-7, 365. I am so thankful we selected Brookdale for my wifes new residence. It was truly an answer to the prayers of many.

My mom has advanced Alzheimers and we moved her from her long term home with Dad to Sun City West Brookdale Camino del Sol. I was scared it would be hard for her to adapt and worried she would be upset. My worries for nothing. The management and staff is AMAZING! The do fun things all day from exercising to bowling to wrapping gifts for the less fortunate. I am VERY grateful to have found such a loving, clean, beautiful active home for mom! The place is very nice but its the of the entire team that shows!

My husband has been here for over two years and I cannot say enough about how pleased I am! He is well-cared for and content. The staff are truly amazing and think of the residents as family. The Activities Director Penny and Assistant Gracielle do an excellent job of keeping the residents active and entertained; and in these trying times during Covid isolation, they have even gone out of their way to assist with haircuts and hemming clothing. The front desk Business Director Shannon is always very helpful and kind. And the nursing staff keep me well informed of medical care needs. All of the caregivers and staff have been wonderful in how they treat the residents as I have witnessed this. I am so thankful to have my dear husband in such a wonderful place!

My husband has been a resident at this Brookdale facility for three months. In that time, Ive been impressed by the high level care hes received from the staff. They are efficient, compassionate and appear to have been well trained in dealing with the difficult behaviors that individuals with dementia often present. The facility is clean and designed to provide lots of natural light, giving it a bright, cheerful appearance. My husband participates in most of the exercise, entertainment and social activities offered and enjoys them.

I would like to complement the friendly Management and Staff of BROOKDALE CAMINO DEL SOL, Sun Cit West, AZ, for the dignified and respectful care of my wife, that has Alzheimers Dementia, receives. Brookdale has senior living including memory care facilities throughout the United States. Brookdale Camino Del Sol has adequate staff, nurses, on site chefs that prepare all meals, activities, including morning exercises and often time during the week, live entertainment and music in the afternoon that the residents sing along with. Brookdale Camino Del Sol in recent months has had all the grounds redone, painting both outside and inside, new carpeting and fixtures. It is clean, nice smelling and well lighted. After visiting many other similar places in the area, this was without question the best place for my loved one. Jerome Knudson

I cant say enough about Brookdal Camino del Sol. What makes it so wonderful are the kind hearted people who work here. Having a family member with Dementia is very stressful however every staff member interacts with our loved one with compassion in a calm way. This community is nothing like others that we have toured because there are so many fun activities going on even in the evening, also the family gets to enjoy. This place looks brand new, modern look, clean and smells good. Everyone seems to be happy at all times. Thank you for making my day special every time I visit.

My mother has been here for several months and I cant say enough good things about this memory care. She has blossomed under their care beyond our expectations and is always engaged in arts and crafts always out of her room socializing and participating in group activities which she never did at home. We had lunch with her and it was very tasty not to mention they also served frozen yogurt at social hour. The Caregivers are always approachable and personable and treat mom like their own family member. We are so fortunate to have found this place.
