We chose Westminster Village to be our home almost 12 years ago, and it was one of the most timely decisions we ever made as a couple. I continue to live in my independent apartment since the death of my husband in 2022, and I would still choose to move here by myself! Our Community is so supportive as they and our very helpful staff - along with my family members here and around the country - help to create the most caring suppport system I could possibly have at this stage of my life. I am grateful for Westminster!!

In a community where the golden years shine, with staff so excellent, it feels divine. A place where awesome people meet and greet, making every moment oh-so sweet. A haven for retirement, filled with cheer, truly a gem that's oh so dear.

When researching a place for your elderly loved ones, ALWAYS check the employee reviews (work rating). For example, this facility, as well as MANY MORE "Christian Care" facilities in the Valley are short staffed, have high turnover, yet charge exorbitant fees. ASK how many NURSES are on staff—not medical assistants or "care givers" or "medication techs". The removal of NURSES from assisted living communities is to cut costs, but registered nurses are essential to educated care. Passing meds by a "certified care giver"? Count on them knowing NOTHING about what the med is for and even days of skipped, critical meds (failure to reorder, wrong dose, misreading orders, and more). When YOU visit? You will never see the reality of what is important:staff to resident ratio or quality of care. You will see "nice grounds" and "smiling staff" and that means NOTHING.

My in-laws moved here about a year ago and I could not be happier for them. They are very satisfied with their move. My personal experience based upon many visits including time in all of the restaurants is that Westminster is a significant cut above. I'm 60 years old and I told my wife after a recent visit that we should get on the waiting list now, because when I'm ready, this is exactly the living situation I would like.
