This community is great! The staff is very friendly and courteous. I spent time with Dulce Atienzo, Associate Director of Sales and she was excellent. She is very professional and really cares for her residents like they were family. Dulce and her staff have all the qualities I would want at a community like Sunrise of Scottsdale to place my mom..I would highly recommend Sunrise of Scottsdale.

I brought my daughters to the art show last month at sunrise of Scottsdale and everyone was so sweet and attentive! The resident art work was so neat to see! Sunrise caregivers and workers give such wonderful attention and love to the residents here! Especially Katie, the activities director! Your loved ones will definitely be cared for and treated like family when they are here!

The Reminiscence Program (Alzheimers/Dementia) at Sunrise of Scottsdale is a standout among Senior Living Communities in our area. Faith, who runs the program, provides constant communication and training, and demands high standards of staff, thus the community runs smoothly. The entire third floor is dedicated to Reminiscence and there is a beautiful outdoor patio available to the third-floor residents. It's not the cheapest senior living but I wouldn't have my father live anywhere else.

I was already familiar with the level of care that Sunrise has to offer when I found myself in need of respite care after a spinal injury. A few family members and friends had previously stayed with Sunrise over the years and their experiences were very positive. The staff at Sunrise is exceptional! I was made to feel welcomed and cared for immediately. The residents all made an effort to make me feel a part of their family and made sure was I always included in daily activities and conversations. Sunrise is an easy paced, nurturing and loving environment anyone can quickly fit into.

My mother was a resident at Sunrise for 11 months. She received top care during her entire stay. All of the employees were extremely kind and helpful. They always treated her with the greatest respect and provided her comfort. She made many friends at Sunrise and so did I. My family and I will always be grateful for the care she received at Sunrise.

We recently moved my dad into the Sunrise memory care floor and he is thriving!! They keep him busy, he has made new friends, and is so happy now!!! We were nervous moving him from another independent facility to a more locked down memory care, but from the first time I called to learn about the facility to the moment he moved in has been seamless and exciting for him. The staff is kind, amazing, caring, thoughtful, and dedicated to ensuring every resident's individual needs are met, while also doing group activities. They have thought of every little detail in the design of the building and the activities, meals, and services they provide. The other day, I was taking my dad back after an outing and I said we were going back to your apartment now and he corrected me and said no, we are going back to my "home"! He loves everything about it and as family couldn't have asked for a better place for him to be! He is in great hands and everyone there is now part of our family!

As soon as you walk in the door you feel at home. The staff are welcoming, caring, and attentive to the residents. The residents appear in great spirits and are visibly well cared for. Tenured memory care director who truly loves her residents. The Executive Director is energetic, welcoming, and always willing to help in any way he can. You can just feel that your loved one will be taken care of giving you peace of mind. Wonderful place to visit!

We had our brother in a beautiful Woodbridge assisted living in Irvine CA and do not compare to Sunrise at all. Out there, starting from the director and other personnel were cold and very impersonal. When we found Sunrise we were absolutely impress with the warm greetings we were received and even more the excellent care our brother is receiving from the proffesional administration to the personnel in the kitchen. All are very kind. We recomend highly Sunrise assisted living. We are greatful. Thanks

Not all assisted living is the same. Jaime and the crew are professionals, they’re courteous, and they CARE. Our prior experience with a Merrill owned place was awful. We moved after 6 months. Sunrise is a beautiful as are the employees who work there.

With a smile on her face my mom stays active throughout the entire day participating in appropriate group activites w care-givers and residents or one-on-one w the Life Enrichment Managers. Very organized. 🙂 At night when she is prone to getting weepy they routinely check on her and reported that she is sleeping much better through the night. (Weight lifted.) Faith, the memory care coordinator takes time to listen to every family member making sure to have the needed care for my mom and peace of mind for the family. Jamie did a great job staying on top of everything needed to get my mom in an apartment suitable to fit my mom's needs without breaking the budget. Everyone is super friendly - especially the gals at the front desk. Overall, nice, clean, helpful, and friendly.

Our mom was living at Sunrise Senior Living in Scottsdale for the last 3 1/2 years. She just recently passed at almost 90. Mom was so in love with the staff. Their care and daily interactions with her were so meaningful to mom. She was always an elegant lady. They always had her dressed and ready for her days activities. We would highly recommend Sunrise for your loved one.

Sunrise Scottsdale has been a wonderful home for my Mom. The team has longevity! The directors of the community have great communication and know everything about every resident and wants all residents to be happy! The caregivers are passionate, kind, and everyone has a smile and wants to make sure your loved one is happy and comfortable every day! My mom is a resident on the third floor, is very happy there and is receiving excellent care. There are always fun and appropriate activities for the residents. Faith has been very kind and caring, the caregivers go above and beyond, the dog Marley brings smiles, and the atmosphere is homey and clean. I definitely recommend Sunrise for anyone who is seeking assisted living or memory care for themselves or loved ones.

Very interesting two previous reviews posted at same time. Hm, it seems like the same person with fake names. Sunrise of Scottsdale it’s a great place for seniors.
