My wive & I went to Scottsdale to look for Senior Living. We visited 8 separate facilities. Pueblo Norte and Dani Lanz were the solution to our retirement search. Dani, sales coordinator,opened doors an offered solutions that we did not hear from any it the other establishments. She is helping coordinate our move, using her numerous years of experience as to good & bad. The meals at Puerto Norte were “restaurant” quality, the grounds are “country club” comparable. We talked to many residents during our visit and they all had the same vision of Pueblo Norte - 100%. The main reason we selested Pueblo Norte to spend our twilight years was the facility, amenities and services, and especially Dani Lanz. Rick Musick

Stuart Roush Sales and Marketing and Tieg Bargar, Executive Director have been fabulous to work with!! They introduced me to Sandra, the head of the Jewish Programming, who was fabulous! Stuart took us on an amazing tour of the facility and showed us the incredible apartments that are available! Tieg Bargar, worked with me on Pricing, and negotiated with me on other items, for bringing over a large group! The staff in the Dining Room was Fabulous!!! The food was Yummy Delicious!! The Salad was Fresh and Crunchy, it had lots of Protein, like, Turkey, Ham, Boiled Egg, and Cheese and Tomatoe! We asked for Rolls and Butter, and they were so Fresh as well! Some of the other guests ordered, Chicken Parmigan, and the Chicken just melted in your mouth! The pasta was soft and the sauce was fabulous. The Barley soup came out piping hot and wasn't salty at all! We had different deserts, Soft Peanut Butter Cookies, and Cheese Cake! All to die for! The had Flavored Water Stations in different areas, with cups for you to take as much as you wanted and Coffee too, with Vanilla Creamers! The Programming is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The Calendar is Simply OUTSTANDING, with so much on it, you couldn't possibly do everything in a DAY, or that MONTH!!! The Facility is getting a 16 Million Dollar Facelift, and will be Gorgeous! And they have Therapy Horses to Feed and Pet!! Field Trips, Happy Hour, H'ORDERVERS and what ever else you want!!! This is the Happening Place For SENIORS!!!

We came with some of our parrots to do a little show for the residents. It is such a wonderful facility, with amazing staff that clearly put their heart and soul into making this place a wonderful place to be. All the residents and staff greeted us with a smile and made us feel very at home and comfortable enough to do a nice show. The residents also got to play with the parrots. All in all, just a great time. Definitely would come back and recommend this place to whoever is needing their care

If you have read any of my other reviews, you know I can be critical and leave bad reviews where I feel they are deserved. However, in the case of Pueblo Norte, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I have a friend living at Pueblo Norte and she invited me to have lunch with her and show me around. While taking me on an "unofficial tour" without any representatives of management present, she introduced me to her friends in every area we visited. Her friends were all laughing, having a good time, and enjoying each other's company. I asked some of the residents I met if they liked living at Pueblo Norte and if there was anything they didn't like about the place. To my surprise, no one had anything negative to say. I know that older adults can tend to be grumpy and enjoy complaining even over minor annoyances but I could not coax a bad word about Pueblo Norte from any of the residents I met. This was very unusual! I was impressed! Having lunch in the dining room was also impressive. I expected the usual quality of institutional food. Instead, the variety of choices and fresh quality was great. The staff in the dining room were attentive and efficient like you would expect if you were eating in a 5-star restaurant. Some of the other residents in the dining room recognized I was a visitor and took the time to come over to our table just to meet me and introduce themselves. I am not used to having anyone in a room full of strangers just walk up to me to meet me and say "Hello!" Even in hallways, people would greet me instead of just passing silently. The residents here are truly friendly. This is the place I would like to be when I need independent living senior care or assisted living senior care.

Due to the nature of our jobs, my lady and I spend a lot of time in a variety of assisted living homes and memory care communities. At Pueblo, we always feel a stronger sense of community in comparison to everywhere else. Their team really seems to know the residents there. They say hello to each one by name as they walk by, remember tiny details about their day, and there's this overarching cheerful energy to the place. Stuart Roush, the Sales Director, is particularly wonderful and will go above and beyond for your family and the Pueblo community. There's a lot to say about this place, but I'll sum it all up with: It's truly amazing!

I recently attended an EVENT hosted by The Sales Director, Stuart. It was a "Sneak-Peek" regarding their Memory Care Unit, which is opening this Fall. It was amazing; from the Food, the fantastic wine, & most importantly, the discussion about the Montessori Model utilized with Dementia-Care Residents in their Memory Care. Stuart was cognizant of every detail, & the supportive TEAM at Pueblo, were all in attendance! The hospitality given to Professionals & Prospects alike, and going the extra mile for Seniors and their Adult Children, that are seeking out Senior Living options, is beyond "top-notch"! Go visit, and tour the "BTR Unit", to see the cutting-edge accommodations for people living with Dementia, for yourselves : )

The Montessori style approach of education with 5 domains, will be welcomed as a comprehensive method to care for our loved ones with memory changes. Stuart was a gracious host! Our mother joined the Pueblo Norte senior living community 8 years ago, moving from her home where she had lived since 1969. Needless to say, this was a very big change for her and for us, her family. Thanks to Pueblo's wonderful staff, the whole transition was smooth and well-coordinated and we all felt so very welcome. Mom's new home in Pueblo's independent living apartments was exactly what we had hoped for. With all of the amenities, the fabulous staff, the friendly residents, the resort-like ambiance and Pueblo's proximity to family, we felt we had made the perfect choice. Mom has made so many friends and has developed a strong sense of belonging. We have peace of mind regarding her health, safety, comfort and well-being. Mom was able to take her daily morning walks, like she had always done before she moved, and has become quite well known for that among the Pueblo residents and staff. Recently, she has come to need assistance on a more regular and comprehensive basis. With mom's input, we decided it was time for her to move from Pueblo Norte's independent living to Pueblo's assisted living apartments. Again, Pueblo staff helped make this another very smooth and timely transition. Mom is happy among friends and has new available daily activities. She enjoys the group exercise sessions, pet visits, musical guest entertainers, and so much more. The level of care she has received from staff members is incredible. We highly recommend Pueblo Norte.

Pueblo Norte is top of my list when I’m working with seniors in the North Scottsdale area. You can feel the sense of community when you visit with the residents and staff, many of which have been there for 20-30, even 35 years! Jean at the assisted living front desk is always welcoming. Jo in activities plans lots of fun events. Stuart and Fran will make sure you see everything you want to while you’re there, and Tieg makes sure they are working hard but having fun! I highly recommend this senior community for independent or assisted living.

My mom moved in to Pueblo Norte in 2011 after my dad passed away. She had a lovely one bedroom apartment in independent living. She quickly became involved in many of the activities and also made quite a few close friends. I was very happy that she was socializing with her peers and enjoying her life instead of being at home alone in an empty house. The grounds are beautiful and they always do such a great job decorating around the holidays. When the Covid pandemic hit, I was impressed with how they handled getting individual meals to everyone in their apartments. It was hard for my mom not to be able to see her friends as much, but Pueblo Norte really tried to accommodate everyone safely. After a series of falls, my mom moved from independent living over to assisted living in May 2021. The move was initially difficult for her but after a while she loved her new studio apartment and enjoyed going down to lunch and dinner with friends that she knew from independent living who had also moved over to Assisted. My mom passed away on April 17 at almost 92 years of age. The care that she received from the staff members was amazing. They were so kind and so patient. I will be forever grateful for them and their help in my mom‘s final few months. I highly recommend Pueblo Norte!

Huge property, and very well cared for. She moved into a "villa", and it was updated before her arrival. Great floor plan, so roomy. It was built back in the 80s, so the landscaping is lush and mature. The staff are all very helpful, caring, patient and kind. There are tons of social activities every day of the week. My mom is a very social creature, so that was important to us. She is already making friends, and has developed a very positive attitude about her life here. The dining room is great. I am quite impressed with the food quality. No, it is not just cafeteria level mush, or high carb, high sodium, bad for you food. Quiet the opposite! You can tell the food is prepared in a healthful way, and the selections each day are terrific. My mom is picky, and I'm a health nut, so I was concerned about what the food would be like for her. I'm not concerned anymore. During my visit we've eaten in the dining room every night! I just know that there is some really bad stuff out there in this world when it comes to elder care. Pueblo Norte seems to be a genuinely caring and safe place to live. I feel really good about our choice. We all want what is best for our loved ones. I feel like we made the right choice! for mom. I think you can judge a place easily by the happiness of the residents. People here are happy. I think that says a lot! Also, great location just off Scottsdale Rd. and Shea Blvd.

My mother just moved from Texas to Scottsdale to be closer to family. She is 88 and recovering from back surgery. I was worried about the move but Pueblo Norte made it so easy. Their staff was great. Mom was first in Rehab to Home a special area for Physical, Occupational Therapy along with extra nursing care. Mom started to build strength and gain weight back on Pueblo Nortes excellent food. When she was stronger she moved into an independent living apartment. The units are well designed for storage and beautiful. Each unit is renovated before a new resident moves in. Mom is still having outpatient Physical Therapy right there at Pueblo Norte. It is so convenient. She is enjoying the great food at Pueblo Norte and starting to socialize and explore all the social activities offered there. I would highly recommend Pueblo Norte and their excellent staff. It is truly a community and home.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pueblo Norte! My mom made Pueblo Norte her home over two years ago and has LOVED every minute of her Independent Living lifestyle. She is absolutely thriving there and tells everyone she knows about it. So, when it came time for my husbands mom to move to a retirement community, Pueblo Norte was at the top of her list. She had been there numerous times enjoying meals, concerts, etc. with my family and was eager to make it her new home, also. We met with Pat Rieth, their marketing director, and she made the whole process go seamlessly, from start to finish.. Pat is a great listener and was extremely sensitive to my mother-in-laws needs. She made sure every last detail was attended to and is truly one of the most professional people we have ever dealt with. Her warmth and agreeable nature made her a dream to work with! The staff and residents at Pueblo Norte really do exude a joy that is palpable to me every time I am there, which is often. My family and I find such comfort in knowing that our loved ones are right where they want to be, enjoying life to the fullest at Pueblo Norte!
