This place was the worst. My mom lived here for two months before we found a much better place for her. The room she was moved into was dirty and disgusting (black floors, crumbs everywhere, cockroaches), the ac barely worked, the door didn't lock for several days and when my mom asked any questions, they would call me and tell me she needed to pay more (she was independent living) because she wasn't paying for this much help (she was asking how to get to the dining area, what events were occurring, etc.). The activities were horrible, several residents told us about how rude people were to them in assisted living and how they weren't allowed to dine with others and my mom went 3 days without food due to them not understanding that she was in independent living and not assisted living. The staff were mostly unhappy, rude and unhelpful. They say your room gets cleaned every two weeks, but not once did someone come by to clean. There were also a weird amount of dead birds in the patio areas that were just left there. This place was absolutely horrible.

The Palazzo has been a wonderful home for my father for the last two years! My father is surrounded and cared for by kind, caring and compassionate staff. My father enjoys varied activities throughout the week, including performances by amazing local talent. He also enjoys three delicious meals per day. The staff is very supportive to me and my family as well! if you are searching for a home for your loved ones, this is the right place and community!!

The staff and employees at Palazzo were wonderful and treated my parents very well. The living conditions were beautiful and well maintained. A special shout out to the activities director on the third floor that made life worth living again for my father after my mother passed away. She has a very energetic and motivational personality and my family and I appreciate all she did for Dad.

we Love living at The Palazzo the staff here is always friendly, kind and caring. Our fur baby Jackie is always being shown love and when our baby is happy we are happy. Our apartment is very large we have a lovely balcony with a great view. My husband and I also enjoy all the opportunities we have to make friends with all events and programs offered its never a dull moment here.

Everyone on the SNF are decent people that do everything they can for the residents. I have lived on the second floor for nearly 2 years now. I dont plan on moving out anytime soon. They do a lot with activities, but I dont enjoy Bingo very much. We need more trivia to help keep our minds sharp.

After several years of working with The staff in the Rehab, I have to say that they are a very professional and compassionate group of people who look out for the good of their patients. Maggie, the social worker in the rehab is truly a gem. I find that she is very knowledgeable and always on target with whats going on with her residents needs and health goals. It is my great pleasure to refer people to The Palazzo as well as help when their patients and residents need alternative accommodations

This facility is absolutely gorgeous!! The staff are just as amazing!! So friendly and kind. They really work hard on doing the best for everyone that lives here! Definitely tour and see for yourself. Administrator is very involved and loves his staff (it shows in their attitude). The DON is a doll and one of the best! Thank you for all you do in healthcare! Recently placed my mother here at The Palazzo. It was a difficult decision made easy by their friendly, professional staff who went over every detail of the process beforehand. The Palazzo has experts in every department which helped with the process. My mom was from out of state and their social worker helped with switching insurance and gaining POA. Their administration department explained and placed my mom in the proper level of care. My mother has diet preferences which the dining services department talked to us about and accommodated. My mom refused to take her medications properly, that important issue has been resolved by their care staff. I havent seen my mom smile or participate in anything social in years and I saw pictures of her socializing with a group of ladies and playing the bongos! So kudos to their activities department. All this and during a pandemic. I have no doubt that I placed my mom in the correct community. And I have no doubt that my mom will continue to improve her quality of life here. Thank you, the Palazzo team. No way I would have figured this out on my own.

I have been a resident here for 10 years. My experience here has been eventful. Ive watched many people come and go with many kinds of disabilities and mental deficits and are all handled well. Ive never seen any problems with nursing. Almost all CNAs do a great job and any that havent have been dismissed. The living conditions have been satisfactory, otherwise I would have not stayed here for as long as I have. The staff listens to any concerns I have and addresses them as the come up. The place is kept clean, the food is good and I dont plan on moving out anytime soon.

I was a patient here for over a month and the staff here is amazing! Everybody is great! The food is very delicious and nutritious! The therapist are very knowledgeable and amazing at what they do! The nurses and CNAs are very respectful and attentative to everyone! Deiatra is an amazing women for giving me a chance and accepting me in the facility even though im very young. i recommend this facility to anyone needing skilled services.

Ive seen good staff members be taken advantage of, mistreated, and over worked. But as of June of 2017, I was been blessed to start working with a really caring, resident first, employee fair, company at The Palazzo. Jack Aranour is a caring, loving, understanding Vice President. Mike Oliver is a funny ,fair, and knowledgeable Executive Director. Our team has a wonderful experienced management team. I truly believe that we are working on making senior living great again. I am giving the Palazzo 5 stars rating. One, for being innovative with our vision of residents, staff and families. Two, for elevating the lives of our residents and staff by addressing needs and education. Three, for bringing excellence to our residents with a caring and loyal staff. I have been an employee in this community for 6 years and have been through 3 different owners during this time. I will say the current company and management team has exceeded far beyond the others. The Palazzo is making great changes to the community not just with the construction but also with the culture of the community. This place encourages our residents to thrive and live life to the fullest and not a community where our aging folks come to die. As far as changes for our employees, Jack has advocated for us for the owners to improve our insurance and benefits for our families. With great success! I have a great place to work and have great benefits for my family. Reviews are only valuable when they are honest... Lets talk. The Palazzo is the up and coming Premier Senior Community! The proof is in the commitment of the management staff. The renovations, improvements and TLC towards staff and residents are always in the forefront. The VP, Jack is dynamic and compassionate. Past reviewers made negative comments, even calling him racist... this is so far from the truth! Behind these sad comments are stories of disgruntled employees or angry vendors. I see first hand every day, the sweat equity the staff pours into creating a haven for residents at The Palazzo. Come and see the great changes happening here. Incidentally, I am not white, I have observed Jack for many years, and I have seen his compassion in action!

My mother has lived here for three years and I have seen the ownership change three times in that span. The current ownership, and in particular the management team are creating something special here. The demeanor and attitude of the staff is of pure excitement and positivity. The rooms are spacious. The rent and fees are fair and a good value. There is always a steady stream of fun, engaging activities like weekend brunch, holiday extravaganzas, musical acts, trips to the casino and educational presentations. The renovations are going to be incredible; Tuscan-themed, yet modern and even a bit opulent! Specific to my Mom: she recently asked to be moved to a different apartment unit located farther away from the construction. Management instantly obliged. They gave her a choice of available units, provided her with a moving service, and even re-re-painted (yes, a second time) when my Mom didnt particularly like the original color. Mom has grown very happy here and when she progresses from independent to assisted living, she can remain in place, being cared for by a team who genuinely cares. Im glad we found this place when we did.

Visited facility today with my 75 year-old cousin Carol. We had the pleasure of meeting with Ms. Diva. She spent a great deal of time with my cousin to assess her true needs as far as her care level and answered her many questions. And most importantly, she took the time to make Carol feel welcome at there facility. Ms. Diva took us on a tour of the apartment options available for assisted living and of the entire facility. I was pleased that during our tour many of the residents stopped us and asked if Carol was moving in...they also told Carol that she would love living at Palazzo. The grounds have beautiful green grass and many areas to sit and enjoy the weather and chat with other residence. While we were there they were having an ice cream social for a departing staff member with many of the residence in attendance. Thanks Ms. Diva for all your help you are a wonderful asset for The Palazzo and a superstar according to Carol! I personally hope Carol will be making the decision that The Palazzo is her new home.

Even though this assisted living community is old, it has its unique home like environment that attracts older people like me. I felt like I was at home and well taken care of. I was really impressed with the Assisted Living Administrator taking the time to come out and talk to me, which really showed me she cared about her residents. Also the nurse Stacey explained to me the symptoms of dementia and what to expect with a family member that has dementia. I toured when the food was being served and it smelled delicious. When my loved one has to make a change or is ready to, I will suggest this community.

My Mother has been living in the independent apartments at the Palazzo for the past seven months. Our experience with the people working there is outstanding. After my mother took a fall, they found me a wheel chair that I could use, till I could get one. Olga and Diva took time not only to help me get her into a rehab hospital, but supported me as I tried to assist in her recover. They were there to help every step of the way, anything information I needed they found a way to help me . I think that it is just as important to find a place that will support not only the resident but also the family. That is exactly what you will find when working with this facility. The food is really good and they have 3 different meal choices, and if you cant find anything you like you can also order off the back of the menu. I have never had a bad meal. Nacho makes it a mission to get the residence to come down for dinner, but he will bring them dinner if they decide not to. The apartments are larger then most, with everything you could need for safety already supplied. There are lots of activities scheduled daily and movies at night. . Everyone from cleaning and maintenance are there to assist residents and always with a smile. No matter how may times they have to fix the TV. For me I am so happy that Mom and I found the Palazzo, the people there are special. As with any business it is the people that make it great. So take the time to look at the facility, you will be happy you did.
