Staff is good, place is pleasant. But the elevators are constantly breaking down. When I was there I spoke with the nurse manager and she assured me my mom, who lives upstairs and uses a walker, would be informed when there are breakdowns so she doesn’t make it to one elevator only to have to go to the other end of the building to take the other elevator. However, this is not happening. This is a safety issue and the management does not seem to take it seriously. This was going on 2 months ago at least and is still happening today.

This place rates with a 5 star Hotel everything is kept brand new. I have spent 2 week in there rehab center for a broken hip. This is like living in a hotel. The food is great, you select 3 fresh cooked meals a day. The doctors are top of the line, the care for your every need. Nursing and care staff are there every minute you need them 24-7. The therapist with there hands on care are understanding, caring, and attend to your every need. They want you to get better!!! And help in every way to make it happen. The cleaning staff keep this place Immaculate. "No Hospital Smell" The front office staff has made all the paperwork and transition to home a perfect and smooth experience. They make sure your insurance, after care doctors, home care nurses are all taken care of before you even leave everything processed correctly the first time. I would recommend this place to anyone for long term living or Rehabilitation care. What a great place to be when you really need help!

All About My Dogs By Tata Cuizon

This ain't a good place to work nor put your loved ones.Staff are terrible and no good manners on how they treat their residents. When you call them for help, they will come 30 mins - 1hr even if it's an emergency. They only employ med techs not LPNs so if you need a nurse at night or in the weekends, you won't get one.Med techs just give pills/meds and do caregiving jobs but they don't know how give an emergency care to a resident. This facility charges too much but their services is very, very poor. The meals are so-so.Just look for another place where your loved ones will get an utmost care

The care is still good but the office help is getting bad. They are hard to get a hold of, they are having inconsistent practices. The downgrade in management is starting to concern me.

My husband and I decided we needed to prepare for living somewhere dedicated to "elder" care and after many trips looking around Phoenix, we discovered the Terraces. Six weeks later we joined the many who lived in this remarkable, joyful, supportive, clean, and beautiful facility. And the staff is by far the most well-trained, helpful and attentive. The availability of classes and lectures is great for keeping mind and body healthy. We love it and will never go elsewhere.

If you have a loved one move out from the terraces don't expect to get you money back for a long time up to a year. And if you call to check on it you will get bounced form [name removed], to [name removed], to [name removed] to [name removed] and it goes on. By the way none of there voice mails seem to work.

My late husband and I moved to The Terraces in May, 2015. Overall during the past seven years, there have been many positive experiences and a only few difficult ones that with patience, understanding, and respect were overcome with little animosity. Speaking generally, it’s challenging to live in group settings when we’re culturally not adept in collaborative relationships. But all in all, our expectations and experiences have matched up well at The Terraces. I’m very pleased that we moved here.

I have been a resident at the Terraces of Phoenix since August of 2015 which by local standards makes me a long-time resident and while nothing is perfect, and 100% of what one looks for is never attainable, certainly 80 to 85% is truly outstanding.I moved here knowing my wife who was suffering from Alzheimers Disease would ultimately need the kind and level of hands-on care I could no longer provide. At the time of her death, I said my move here along with our transition from New Jersey were the smartest moves we had made during our 60+ year marriage. I found a loving and caring home expanding the size of my family several times over.We are blessed to have Jaime Roberts at the helm whose incredible leadership brought us safely through the horrific COVID pandemic. She and her wonderful team of caring, talented, and knowledgeable staff left no stone unturned in bringing us to the light at the end of the tunnel. For me, the Terraces brought me a home that is safe, happy and provides peace of mind to me and to my children and grandchildren.

My Mom lived in independent living at the Terraces for 10 years. For the most part, she was very happy. She had a nice apartment, lots of friends, was active and enjoyed living there. After she died, I discovered 2 serious issues. Firstly, all of her good jewelry was completely gone. All that was left was her costume jewelry. Whoever took it, had time to go through it and steal all the expensive stuff. Mom never had guests in her apartment, but did have a few aides, all of whom I knew and were from reputable companies (ie visiting angels). Otherwise, it was the Terraces cleaning staff that had access. Im not accusing them, but I wish we had kept her expensive jewelry under lock. Additionally, Mom developed dementia which was bad enough that she turned over her checking account to me. She couldnt even remember how to write a check. The management at the Terraces were aware of her deteriorating status and had recommended we put her in assisted living a few months before her death. During that time, they got her to sign an agreement to pay their non-profit (which helps people who cant afford to pay, so the Terraces gets their money) $50,000 at the time of her death!! She couldnt write them a check so they had her sign a promissory note! I found the agreement soon before she died and she had no memory of it and didnt want to give it to them. I hired a lawyer but the Terraces fought back with their lawyers and, unfortunately, I didnt pursue it any further due to escalating legal costs. I feel they took great advantage of her. Beware.

Dad is here currently and things have been good. Everyone seems pretty nice and he gets along well with the other residents. The staff seems to be able to answer any questions that I have and they take good care of him. Their food, however, is adequate according to my dad. Their salad bar is good and they seem to have a few different options to choose from. They offer a few activities like happy hours once a week, they have entertainers that will come in and sing or play for the residents, and there’s a sitting exercise class that he participates in. The facility is kept very clean and housekeeping comes by every day to make his bed. They clean the carpet every day so it always looks nice. They offer memory care here as well so Dad doesn’t have to move to a different facility when his needs grow. The independent living side has a buy-in option and it offers a garage, just like a house.
