The Forum at Desert Harbor is my first experience living in an adult senior community. It has been truly a grow & glow experience! Starting with The Executive Director, Kelly who has truly honed the art of listening as apposed to hearing. To the Marketing Team with Jan & Jennifer who have been there to assist me with technology as I am challenged in this area. My restricted dietary needs have been respected and honored by the entire kitchen staff. Last but not least, our Activity Director, Jennifer who has given me the honor and privilege of volunteering. This has given me the opportunity to give back to this amazing community. Two thumbs up, Five Star has rocked my world!!

I have worn many hats at The Forum at Desert Harbor and have enjoyed the warm welcome from the residents and staff. I have taught line dancing and belly dancing, performed with my bellydance troupe, and given PowerPoint Travelogue lectures. It is a beautiful community and what a gorgeous view of the lake!

I've lived at the Forum for the past 2 1/2 years and always felt secure in my future life here at the Forum. However, since the pandemic, it appears to me, the local forum staff has not been allowed, because of higher authority, to provide the Forum residence the service needed to meet the expectations they become accustomed to. I Love living here. It's a wonderful place and I enjoy spending time with all the friendly residents and staff and hope and pray my concern for the Forum future does not continue to decline to a point the loyal residents have to consider making a change. When my wife and I moved here, prior to the pandemic, I feel we would have made good ambassadors to represent the Independent Living lifestyle at The Forum. I'm still very happy here however, I don't feel I have that same enthusiasm.

One of the best decisions I have ever made was to move into The Forum at Desert Harbor. It's like living in a beautiful resort. The staff are always ready with a smile and a good word. Our apartment is beautiful faces the lake, we can watch the boats go by. We have excellent dining, the activities are designed to have something for everyone, as well as trips to casinos, theater, shopping, doctors appointments and more. George and I have found our home.

I had a great experience visiting the Forum. I met with Julie Larson that took me though the complex. She took pride showing me the various rooms and activities available to everyone. I made the decision to move there and they already have make me feel at home . Would I recommend the Forum???Yes!!! I lookout at other Independant living places and none compared to the Forum.

The Forum at Desert Harbor is the best!!!! The care from RNs, CNAs, and all the therapists is wonderful! There is so much attention to detail. My husband has been on the rehab floor for almost two months and everyone has made sure that he is very comfortable which means so much to myself and our family. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing rehab. I have been so impressed that I am planning to volunteer in the very near future. All the staff are wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about The Forum. Our family thanks everyone at the Forum.

This is a beautiful place and everyone is so nice, i felt like i was at a resort with all they offer. I would love to live here, and hopefully I can.There is nothing negative to say about this place, everything is wonderful.

My wife and I moved to the forum on the 1st of April 2018. We have really enjoyed the facility and people working to keep the Forum top notch. The food has been great along with all the people in the restaurant especially the waitresses and waiters. My wife and I have unfortunately been besieged with my wifes stroke. I have to admit the care she has received in the skilled nursing facility has been great. The nurses and personnel attending to her night and day have been fantastic. Unfortunately we will have to leave the forum for continuing care for my wife. Good luck to all of you and thanks.

I have performed at The Forum at Desert Harbor many times as a violinist and also bring my West Valley Youth Orchestra annually to perform for the residents. The residents who I have talked to are happy living at the Forum, and always so appreciative of the live musical entertainment. The main building and the grounds are beautiful and well kept up. Margie, the activities director, is wonderful to work with. She and her staff put on a nice variety of activities every month.

I began working at the Forum as a medical resident in 2002 and have been an attending physician there ever since. Having also spent considerable time at many other facilities around the valley, I can say with confidence that the Forum at Desert Harbor is top notch. The grounds, of course, are beautiful, the amenities are nice, and the food is excellent.But the quality of any facility is ultimately defined by the people who work there. I know these people well, and they are the best. The nursing staff are competent, the aides are compassionate, and the therapists are expert in their respective fields. Even the administration is unequivocally united in their focus on delivering the highest quality personalized care and service to their residents. For the past 16 years, Ive watched them rehabilitate and care for hundreds of my patients in a way that consistently inspires me with professional confidence.To put it in a more personal context, I would not hesitate to trust the care of my loved ones — or my own — to the good and capable people of the Forum at Desert Harbor.Michael F. In that time we have gotten to see the Lifestyle Department in action...THEY ARE TOP NOTCH! They offer many events and programs that are intellectually stimulating, lively and fun (NOT just a time filler). The Forum at Desert Harbor is an engaged and active community and a wonderful audience.

Ive lived at the Forum for 8 years. I would not have stayed if I didnt like it. I find it a most friendly place. Having no family of my own, the residents here have become my family. The transportation and activities provided us are of the highest quality and convenience. The meal service is superb. I consider the Forum at Desert Harbor my home.

I love presenting seminars and workshops to the residents of the Forum which I have been doing for over a decade. The folks are interested, responsive and excited to see me every time I return. We always have a great time together. The facility is fantastic, a welcoming and happy atmosphere throughout.

As a Phoenix Art Museum docent, I host monthly art talks at the Forum. Our speakers are always in awe of the lovely facility and receptive audience. Our attendees are so appreciative and enjoy being interactive. Margie, the Activities Director, hosts many activities, both in-house and off-campus for the residents and is wonderful to work with. The lunches Ive had are excellent and the Forum is one of the nicest senior communities Ive visited.

Over four years ago I began looking for a senior facility where I could receive meals after recognizing my ineptness in the kitchen. I looked at 7 facilities and settled on the Forum after I was shown my present apartment which has a sizable patio and a great view of the grounds and lake. It doesnt seem like there is a freeway less than a mile away. The dining room menu is tremendously varied. Besides an extensive selection of everyday items, there is a choice of 2 soups, 2 salads, 4 entrees and 4-5 vegetables which changes daily. I cant imagine an activities calendar with more choices than ours.

I am an advisor for a high school community service club. I have worked with the Program Director at the Forum at Desert Harbor on many occasions. We have planned and carried out activities with high school students and the residents at the Forum. It has been a wonderful experience for both groups. Our visits have been social and educational. We have enjoyed dining together, dancing, playing instruments, games, golf putting, and just visiting. The staff at the Forum are a terrific group of people who are patient, caring, and fun. These experiences have enriched our lives. The campus is beautiful, clean, and inviting and the residents seem happy. We enjoy our visits very much.

Needing to feel comfortable about choosing where my mom would be happy was my ultimate goal. My mom is enjoying her new home. It was an easier decision once we toured The Forum.Im not a fan of their dress code for meals. Semi formal on the weekend.

I have lived at the Forum for just over three years. I have found the staff to be courteous and professional. I feel safe and secure in my apartment and throughout the building. In addition, the food is good and served in a pleasant atmosphere. In short, I write a monthly check and the Forum feeds and houses me.

Lilac Crazy Quartet has performed many times over the years at both Forum facilities. Margie and the rest of the staff are always wonderful! The residents and their families are always so much fun to sing for. Weve also been invited to eat a few times in the dining room, and the food is great! 🙂

I was a volunteer. I volunteered with Jennifer I loved being around the residents. I enjoyed watching the love and joy Jennifer brought to them . The smiles they had when Jennifer would walk into the room was so heart warming. She does a great job puts her heart and soul into everything she does for the residents. I just want to thank her for showing me and teaching me so much. We all love you Jennifer .

Three years ago my husband and I were tired of the upkeep of a home and began looking at local independent residencies but none fit our lifestyle until we came to look at The Forum. It was an instant bonding with staff and fellow residents and it got even stronger after we moved in. Last year when I lost my husband, it was like finding new, loving, supportive family surrounding me and it was comforting. The food choices are excellent and I can be as active as I like to participate in all the activities. I know I am in the best place that I could ever be.

I so enjoy being at The Forum at Desert Harbor every month. The residents really seem to enjoy the art programs that are presented by the docents from the Phoenix Art Museum. They are attentive and interested, Margie is great to work with and so is Paula. We look forward to hosting these programs as volunteer docents for the museum.
