A friend and I moved a third friend into Discovery Point in January 2026. The night we left her there we both just cried with relief. She came from a regular apartment and is in the early stages of alzheimer's. While this isn't a memory care facility, we just felt like the environment was so much safer for her at this stage of life. The amenities are just amazing for a home at this price. It's everything she needs and nothing she doesn't. But what is hardest to quantify is the friendships she has built. She really needed to be around other retired people and interact more. And they needed to be people who would have some patience for her limitations. She really seems to be flourishing here. It's also so touching that the staff have the capacity to learn new residents' names and can give us feedback about how things are going for her. They really care, like in a way that doesn't just go with it just being their jobs. They have love for the people who live there and are so willing to help us make sure she is living her best life. Thank you for all of the care and compassion from the housekeepers, dining room staff, maintenance, and office staff.

I have been working closely with Discovery Point in Mesa and would highly recommend for anyone looking for retirement living. The residents are all so friendly and the staff makes everyone feel like family. Covid regulations are followed for everyone’s safety and they still remain a close nit family. Alice is a phenomenal leader and creates such a caring atmosphere for all who enter.

Don and I moved into Discovery Point last October, 2017 and we really like it here. They have good food and good service and many activities. They also clean our apartment weekly and wash and change our sheets. My husband, Don has written a poem which I am typing below to describe how we feel about our new home. We live in Apartment 218 and are enjoying our life here. ODE TO DISCOVERY POINT When age sneaks up and finds you need some care. You realize you must move -- you know not where. So you start a search, you don't want some old joint. And Lady Luck smiled, and we found Discovery Point! They offer great meals, room cleaning, and activities galore, Side trips, billiards, cards, bingo, personal care, and so much more. When they explain what they offer, well it is all true. And what you make of it, that's up to you. We were elated when we were treated like a special guest. The entire staff is great, they all try their very best. They make you feel like you have found the "Super Home". And Bev and I want to say thanks with this little poem. -- Don and Bev Coombs --

Visited my aunt and her husband there today and they are very satisfied with the place which seems very well managed.

The facilities at Discovery Point are very nice. Maintenance is slow in responding to complaints. This facility is a noisy apartment complex. It has an old boiler system for hot water. And air conditioning units sitting outside windows on the lower floor. Which makes for a lot of noises through walls and outside of windows. The residents were very pleasant and friendly.

We visited Discovery Point today and we are amazed at how wonderful it is!!! The people we met today were absolutely stellar. The facility is immaculate, the grounds pristine, my Husband and I were both impressed. We can't wait to move in!
