I can't say enough how well my mother was treated by the Canyon Winds staff. At 99+ with both vision and hearing issues, they made her feel safe and comfortable and helped her get around the facility. After living alone independently for the past 27 years, their attention to her needs made the transition easier than I expected. Many of the staff took extra time to sit and talk with her on a daily basis and to pet her cat. As EOL approached for her, their medical staff paid close attention to her needs. If you are looking for a new home for a loved one, Canyon Winds would be a great place for them.

My mom and I took a tour of Canyon Winds in October 2023. The Sales Director Dascha Williams gave us a great tour and introduced us to staff along the way. While my Mom wasn't quite ready to relocate to assisted living, she was impressed with the grounds and the amenities they offered. A few months later my mom decided to look again. Dascha had an apartment available in the location she preferred along with an amazing move-in special that was happily far beyond our expectations. **We did tour two other facilities previously and Canyon Winds was more affordable and just an overall nicer community, in my opinion. We were actually greeted by the residents sitting outside enjoying the fresh air. My mother has now been a resident at Canyon Winds since Dec 2023. The community is peaceful, clean and no shortage of activities to do if they so choose. I have met and now know by name several residents who smile, wave or chat with for a few minutes on my bi-weekly visits to see my mom. My mom does miss her own home, but who wouldn't? She does enjoy her new friendships and the fact that she was able to bring her little fur baby Belle with her. My mom is also eating better than she had been. I've also enjoyed a lunch now and again in the dining room. The food is tasty and the wait staff is very kind. I have had a few questions/minor concerns, here and there (nothing major) but I have chatted with managerial staff as well as floor staff and resolved or got my questions/concerns answered and addressed quickly. I would recommend putting Canyon Winds on your list of assisted living care facilities to tour, if you or your elderly loved one is at that stage of needing care beyond what a child or spouse can provide. I had a wonderful experience with Kelly Dawn. She was very engaging and upbeat and answered all my questions appropriately. The resident's laughter and engagement during my tour were great to hear and see. Kelly and team, keep up the great work!

Caynon Winds is a wonderful place to live. I feel like I'm on a all inclusive vacation every day. The staff are all wonderful and the food is to die for. All the residents are like family. Great place to liv

Have lived here now for over 4 years and have enjoyed every single minute that I have. Management is one reason that this place is so great. The Chef and Restaurant staff puts out some great meals and is served wonderfully. This is just a wonderful place to live independently in your later liv

I moved into Canyon Winds in Aug 2020, have never lived in an Assented Living, I looked at all the Amentias, now after Living here since I dont think they are as good as Posted, I have so many problems' here, (Medication, Cleaning service, Laundry), the Med-Tech have node mistakes with My Medication, wrong Medication, Missing Pills, now about the Laundry & Cleaning, it has never on the same day, it is so mixed up, I never know when, or I must ask them to Please Clean, or do My Laundry. I have had so many problems. I have "Visually Impairment", so I dont want to Move, it is very hard to find things when being Moved. I Love the Food, and some of the Staff are wonderful. I have press the "Panick Button" and had to wait 40 minutes for someone to Help Me, I have this problem a number of times. What makes something bad now is the Covid, but I think they could do a much better job, I think it is Management. Jerry

I moved my aunt into this place after her health started declining as she could no manage in her own place. Needed help with meals and cleaning. With the plan fo move her to the assisted side if her health declined. My aunt never wanted to leave her house and did not originally want to move into a place like this. She ended up loving the plane snd wished she Would have done this sooner. The staff have been very supportive to myself also throughout the years. They did their very best during covid. The really helped when my aunt needed.assistance. I told my aunt if I was twenty years older I'd be with her in Canyon Winds ! Again Thank you to everyone !!! want to than everyone who Made my aunts last three years very safe and enjoyable. Thank you !! I wish I lived in Mesa and my other elderly members who would bay double fo triple for this place in their states.

My father moved into the independent living a month ago with his dog Coco. I Cannot say enough "positive" things about this place. It's a classy, beautiful place with very beautiful tasteful apartments. The entire staff is "500 stars" amazing!!! The cook is fantastic! The people who are living there have all embraced my father and made him feel so welcome. He suffers with speech issues and it is so nice to have people around him that understand and try to include him and talk with him. A big thanks to the staff and residents!!!

Canyon Winds Independent Living is a great facility. My husband and I a truly happy we moved here. The staff is great and also the servers in the dining room. We have lived here for 9 months and absolutely have not had a problem. I notices most of the reviews are for the Assisted Living side. I do not know about that facility but the Independent Living goes above and beyond for everyone.

Canyon Winds Independent Living is an excellent facility and I am absolutely certain they provide the best care possible for their residents. I took a tour of the facility which had beautiful Christmas decor made by the residents and staff themselves. What a great idea and a good way for the residents to feel at home! Overall, I give Canyon Winds 5 stars for the cleanliness and friendliness of staff! I will for sure be placing this on the top of my list for my family member.

This is a fantastic assisted living facility! I was able to do a full tour of the property and it is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful chandeliers, color concepts and comfortable outdoor walking/seating areas. After meeting with the staff, I have 100% confidence they provide the best quality care for the individuals who reside here. In addition, they have well planned activities and nutritous meals that are provided in a restaurant setting. It would be a pleasure to have any family or friends reside here. What an excellent example of what an assisted living facility should be!
