Kudos to ALL Canyon Valley Memory Care STAFF! They have made the difficult decision made almost 4 years ago far better than I anticipated. Instead of going from bed to chair to table at home my husband now receives consistent medical, dietary, and physical activity care. When, I visit he is rarely in his room. Yes, his dementia has increased and he is now receiving additional Hospice care. Physically he IS Better. My workaholic farmer/rancher husband is having fun and engaging in activities like Bingo? painting? reading the newspaper to less able pals? All the kudos Activities Director, Johanna Turnbull, receives are well deserved. She uses the SPARK Montessori-based philosophy of activities work.

My husband has been a resident here for 8 months. The staff all treat him (and other residents) with compassion and care. It is as though they are caring for their own beloved grandparent. The food looks wonderful, the faciity is clean, and I am so comfortable with the care he is receiving.

We have been very happy that we chose Canyon Valley Memory Care for our mother. Our relative has been at Canyon Valley for four months now, and he has been exceptionally well cared for despite him having Parkinsons and a high fall risk. The staff goes above and beyond to help him. Everyone is very kind and helpful, giving him excellent care. He even likes the food! They have done everything possible for us to continue to visit him over the pandemic. This is a great place to put your loved one.

There are a few memory care options available to choose from in the Green Valley-Sahuarita area. The staff at Canyon Valley are very flexible and are there because they truly love their jobs. They arent there just for the paycheck which is noticeable and greatly appreciated.

I love this place and the people working and living there. I am a fitness instructor and work with the residents twice a month. The staff is wonderful with the residents and you can tell how they love each and everyone of them. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. There are plenty of activities for the residents and they are happy to engage in these activities. It is also a very safe place for your loved ones. All the residents are treated with respect and care.

One of the many things I love about Canyon Valley is how they include their residents in so many ways. Not only by making things like the sugar scrubs but also in the decor around the facility which makes the atmosphere homey and inviting. The staff are caring, friendly, and easy to work with!

Working at Canyon Valley Memory Care was such a blessing! I was their Marketing Director for a short period until I unfortunately had to move to Nashville with my husband for his job transfer. I was trained by some of the best people at Catalina Springs Memory Care. In the time that I was there, we were able to ensure that we always went above and beyond in making sure our residents lives were enriched in every way possible. We were also able to start our SOAR (Seniors of Artistic Repurposing) group with the residents at Canyon Valley and I must say, I saw immediate changes in just how the residents became more active socially, physically, and mentally. We took many positive steps in making Canyon Valley Memory Care a better place and from what I have seen and heard they are still going strong! Frontier Mangaments Montessori Inspired Methods truly do set them apart from any other Senior Living Community Ive ever seen or ever heard of. We consistently received many testimonies from family members on the difference they would see in their loved ones. That to me is just priceless and was very rewarding working for such an amazing company who truly cares about their residents and making sure they live enriched lives and always having meaningful experiences at Canyon Valley Memory Care. I highly recommend this place for your loved one.

I have been blessed to have found CVMC when we needed the most. When my MIL started acting up with her dementia, I found myself lost and without hope. She didnt trust me or anyone around her. I was un-able to provide a safe environment for her and started calling around. Someone sent me to CVMC and I found not only a new home for my dearest MIL, but also a place where we could re-connect. She is well taken care of with lots of love and compassion. Dementia and ALZ are very difficult and their personnel knows exactly how to work with her to keep her calm, happy and safe. Thank you for been there for me and my family! Truly there are not enough words to express our gratitude!

As a licensed fiduciary, whose practice is limited to serving the elderly and their families, I totally endorse Canyon Valley for patients in the beginning to middle stages of dementia. In my 13 years of practice, I have evaluated well over a hundred care facilities, and my 91 -year ,who has lived there for 7 months, is doing great. In many assisted living facilities, there are no activities, or once weekly at most and that usually consists of bingo. The elderly are left to watching TV or going out into a patio, while Canyon Valley offers a full daily schedule of crafts, sing alongs, dog therapy, to name of a few plus frequent outings in their bus. They also take residents to all doctor appointments. Additionally, they have a full-time RN, who is also on call when needed. An outstanding geriatric doctor visits Canyon Valley residents on a regular basis. This facility also offers services to the very poor, which is rare is such a luxurious setting. Lastly, they have a fantastic chef who tries his utmost to meet the challenges of finicky eaters, while serving daily attractive, nutritious meals. It is difficult at best to run a facility 24-7 and doing it with the grace and caring shown by the management and staff of Canyon Valley.
