Maureen was wonderful to tour with! She took the time to answer all of my client’s questions thoroughly and never made us feel rushed. You can truly tell that her focus is on helping families find the right fit, and she emphasized that it’s all about the community and making residents feel at home. The community itself was warm and welcoming, with a great atmosphere and plenty of activities to keep residents engaged and connected. Incredible hosts Sierra and her apprentice Marisa. Could not have expected kinder and well informed tour. Their energy; their humanity, off the charts. Sierra is a wonderful Marketing Director! She is professional, responsive, and truly takes great care of her community. You can see the pride she has in the property and the residents she serves. The community itself is beautiful ” from the fun pickleball court to the gorgeous swimming pool and all the thoughtful amenities throughout. It’s welcoming, vibrant, and full of life. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend scheduling a tour. You won’t be disappointed!

I am a new 2 month resident and would like to share my experience about the team at Mera Goodyear. This relationship began with my online request for a tour. Tasha Pasco was very professional, helpful, and most of all knowledgeable. I asked many questions, and Tasha handled them well, and made me feel very comfortable. Tasha continues to be a key contact, especially with the many property events. I rely on Tasha for suggestions of community restaurants, music venues and local community knowledge. Since moving in at Mera Goodyear in September; I met Sierra Gallego and Garbiela Martin, two key members of the property leadership team. Their smiles are constant, as they bring a positive vibe to this property. I have found them both to offer sincere interest in helping the residents and myself with assisting with navigation of resident software tools. They too are helpful, and extremely knowledgeable, and most of all; ready to assist. The leader of this magnificent team is Francine Bentancourt. Mera Goodyear is a well run operation, led by Francine. The entire team demonstrates friendliness and commitment to the residents experience. The teams positive attitude does affect the residents. Their vibe contributes to the ease of making new acquaintances and friends here at the property. Mostly every resident share the same positive vibe. All of these factors have contributed to my easy transition from California. I have to pass all praise to the leadership team. I love living here. The staff is always available to assist me with anything I need help with . All the staff are friendly and kind. There is so much room in our apt, the floor plan is great it feels like we live in a house with a walk in closet, washer and dryer included. Kitchen is what I love most of all. It has lots of cupboards, microwave, dishwasher, stove and refrigerator all Samsung appliances. Their event calendar is full every day with something for everyone. Lots of fun and great people to be around.

My name is Harriet and I'm a resident of Goodyear I've been here for 3 years I'm very happy I intend to stay here until I'm like a hundred years old I am now 85 and I just love the events that they have they keep me busy on my toes but I would like to see a little improvement on exercise here there's not enough exercise here and I have to go out for more exercise than I think you can do better with the aerobics. All in all I'd give five stars

I’m fairly new here at Mera Goodyear, we moved in about three weeks ago. I’m finding the people to be friendly and welcoming. There are several events during the week and the staff make sure that, when served, there are snacks to suit most everyone. They also try to connect those residents who are new, with the ones who are veterans of the Mera way of life. Speaking of staff, they are genuinely kind to the residents. They are responsive to the needs of the residents and in a timely manner, complete tasks and answer questions. The staff member we’ve had most contact with is Tasha Pasco. Tasha is remarkable person and employee. Always has a smile and a good word for everyone. She’s positive and encouraging, too. We look forward to learning more about our neighbors and those that will become friends.

This is a very nice community with about 80 activities a month for the community members. Everybody is so nice and friendly and helpful. The resident lead happy hour is fun and I love the monthly brunch. All the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful!

Being retired and yet still a professional musician, I play piano at a number of senior and retirement communities in the West Valley, as well as throughout the greater Phoenix area every month. Whenever I play at Mera Goodyear, I’m always impressed by not only how beautiful a property it is, but also the spirit and happiness of its residents. It’s easy to understand why the residents are indeed so content. It’s because of the modern atmosphere, the sense of being safe, and the amenities - all backed by a friendly, caring and professional staff. I always look forward to playing at Mera Goodyear. It’s just a great place!

I’m very impressed with Mera employees, residents and definitely the apartments. The apartments are well maintained and have wonderful varied events. Also beautiful grounds outdoors with a welcoming pool. Conveniently located in Goodyear AZ plus provides indoor convenient mail, trash etc. My visit was delightful and hope to arrange a move as soon as can be arranged.

I came to Mera Goodyear over a year ago as a snowbird. There is such an energy here of community and great amenities! I even met a wonderful man during one of our community events. It was during a Friendsgiving potluck and I had brought a bottle of wine and sat down at an unoccupied table. I noticed a man standing and observing the potluck line and nobody else sat down at the table. I then loudly said, Gee, nobody wants to sit at the table with the wine! The man looked over at me and I then asked him if he would like to join me and he said sure. I then said, I’ll even share my wine with you! He said, That’s even better! We had a wonderful conversation. Neither of us had seen each other until this potluck. A couple days later I went to the clubhouse Bistro and main area where there was a craft/market taking place. I saw the man again and I said, And your name is Patrick! A few minutes later he asked me out and he also asked for my phone number. I am now happily married to him and we are enjoying our place here! The management and fellow residents were all excited to hear about our friendship and marriage. Mera Goodyear is a great community of people and friends!

I was recently at Mera Goodyear assisting with their brunch and it was such a delight! They had a delicious array of food, and even come live music! The residents seem to all be friends and enjoy their time together - This is a gorgeous community, with a ton of amenities and resident events. We are managed by an awesome team. Gabby, a manager here is just a sweet heart. She is much loved and appreciated by me and others. She's very helpful, professional, caring, and knowledgable. I also think our new sales specialist will reel you right on in with her charm and confidence. She enjoys working in our resort like community. She came in exploring all of the buildings. And she hopes that the new and old residents find it as appealing as she does because: We have activities scheduled almost every week day and some weekends. The amenities in our clubhouse vary from a pool table to a ping pong table. From shuffle board to board games. We have virtual sports, ( golf, baseball, etc...) There's never a dull moment. Even fitness lovers will enjoy the heated pool, the free weights room with exercise equipment and a TV—. In the wellness work out room we have yoga classes, strength and balance training by certified and FUN instructors. And guess what, there's even more to see and enjoy here. I know, because I've been here since they opened their doors.

I absolutely LOVE living at Mera Goodyear! The minute I walked into the front door I knew this was going to be my forever home! The staff here are AMAZING. Extremely helpful, friendly, assessable. All areas are kept incredibly clean thanks to Wendy and our work orders are always addressed and corrected immediately thanks to Dave & Patrick. I have met so many friends here that have become family. It is a wonderful experience here and I don’t EVER want to go anywhere else. I am extremely HAPPY here!

Mera Goodyear is a brand new community. Not much to look at from the outside but the inside is spectacular! If you want to be where there is a sense of community but you don’t want the assisted living feel, this is the place. The opportunities to come together as a community are plentiful. There are yoga classes in the wellness center, community meals in the bistro, media center to watch movies or sports with others, library, game room and so much more. The residents vary in age from 50 to 90. You have full time workers, semi-retired & fully retired.

Mera is home because of the many connections I've made in the 17 months I've been here. I moved here sight unseen but with the help of Kelly, Leasing Specialist, and my local friend, I felt confident Mera Goodyear was the place I need to be. I don't regret moving here. This community is not perfect but it has made the transition of relocating from Colorado to Arizona less painful. There's room for improvement but that's with any community.
