My wife lived at White Dove Assisted Living in Glendale for about 9-1/2 months. She had a bad stroke which left her bed-bound and beyond my ability to continue to care for her at home. I consider the fact that I was introduced to White Dove to be the same as if I’d won the lottery. I remember the exact date that I realized I was at peace with where she was and the circumstance, and it was after just over a month of being there. Alina the caregiver is a treasure. The way she interacts with boundless energy with everyone, and all the clients in the manner that works the best for them is amazing. I believe she truly came to love my wife and my wife loved her. In better times, they’d have been fast friends. I felt the warmth and 'family' atmosphere the day I visited and knew that's where I wanted her immediately. I missed probably less than 7 days over the time my wife was there, and NEVER did I see anything that I would have a negative comment about. The house is gorgeous and immaculately clean. The food preparation and care to the meals is unbelievable. Soup from scratch every day! Home-made bread/rolls/cookies. Custom birthday cakes for residents on their birthday – cakes that you would only see on TV competitive baking shows. If I become incapacitated, my daughter knows that I’d want to be there. I’m not sure there’s a better recommendation than that. Nellie, the owner, is very accessible and approachable, always ready to talk. The nursing service stays on top of everything, leaving you with nothing to deal with but enjoy visiting your family member knowing their needs are taken care of exactly in the manner you want them to be.

My Mother resided at White Dove Adult Care Home for 2 1/5 years. Initially she was mobile with the aid of a walker. As time went by she transitioned into a wheelchair then became 100% bed bound until she recently passed. The caregivers were very compassionate, attentive and diligent in regards to her every need. She was always bathed, dressed and her bedding clean as well as her room and the rest of the home. Meals were always freshly made each day. I have video's of caregivers singing, (wheelchair) dancing and entertaining the residents. Everyone looked forward to the gentleman/entertainer that came regularly to play the guitar and sing songs the residents were familiar with and soon they were clapping and singing along. Nellie, the owner was always reachable. When I called, she responded right away. We were referred to White Dove Care Home and we have absolutely no reservations in referring them.

My Mom was a resident at White Dove Assisted Living in Peoria for 2 1/2 years. She was mobile in the beginning. but she slowly became less mobile until she became bedridden. All the caretakers were very good to her and took great care. I have videos of her being sang to, entertained and eventually needing to be feed. One of my Mom's favorite things was the gentleman that came in frequently to play guitar and sing to them. Everyone was so kind and understanding of her struggles. The home was always very clean as well as the residents. The meals were cooked fresh daily and always a special meal on holidays. The owner, Nellie is literally a phone call away and responds right away. I spent many, many days there visiting with my Mom and the other residents so I have an insiders view of how White Dove Assisted Living flowed and how other residents were treated. We were referred by a family who had a family member there and we're so glad they did and without hesitation will refer to them in the future. Thank you to all the caregivers, Nellie and her family.

My mother lived here for five years. They took such good care of her. It felt like home. All home cooked meals, family atmosphere. Chickens in the back yard coop. I am proud that I was able to provide this for my mom. I can only hope I can stay in such a wonderful place when I get old.

My mother was a resident at White Doves Silver Crest Home in Peoria. Words cannot express the heartfelt appreciation and gratitude I have for Nellie the manger of the home and Viki, one of the caregivers. Nellie is amazing...she treats her residents (and her caregivers as well) with warmest regard and respect. She is an outstanding professional demonstrating a remarkable kindness and compassion for others. She consistently goes above and beyond for her residents. Viki is very special as well. She is remarkably perceptive and attentive to even the smallest need a resident may have. Mom always felt safe, loved and well cared for at Silver Crest. This meant so much to me. Everyone at the home treated my mother with much dignity, love, care and kindness. A dear friend had referred us to White Dove and were so grateful she did.
