As a professional photographer, I work with a variety of senior living facilities and by far, Heritage Communities and all of their Orchard Pointe locations, including the one here at Arrowhead are at the top of their class! There is so much JOY in the residents and the teams that work with them and there is a true sense of comradery, family and connection. As seniors age, mental and physical capacity may become diminished, but there is still so much spark in the residents I have worked with here and I truly believe it's because the teams working for the communities foster such a wonderful spirit of love and togetherness. They speak hopefully, lovingly and faithfully and it really reflects in the faces and eyes of those who live here. They are committed to loving the residents and you see it! I am not just saying this because I have worked with them for several years doing marketing photography, but because I truly do see a special difference in these communities. Not only did I gain knowledge that will help me tremendously professionally but also personally with my own father. Shelly and Alicia are the most professional, compassionate, empathetic, and caring women you could ever meet and the perfect combination to give you with the knowledge you need to help a senior professionally or personally. The training was over and beyond expectations. The instructors are dedicated to ensure you not only have knowledge to pass the exam but get the skills, empathy and compassion that are necessary to be happy with your work. The class was fun. This was my first time to attend Ms.Teepa Snow Dementia Event on 07/05. Even though it was only 2 hours session, she did present in an easy & practical way to cover a lot of informations on Dementia. I really enjoyed Ms. Teepa Snow made all those interaction with the audiences not only the one sat next to you and also around the table. She is an expert and did a great job. Definitely I appreciated her and highly recommend everyone should try to attend at least one of her Dementia Event.Thank you for Shelly Drews & her teammates have arranged for such a wonderful event.

This week I attended an educational seminar about Dementia hosted by Orchard Pointe. The keynote speaker was Teepa Snow, a renowned expert in strategies and techniques to care for someone living with Dementia. Teepa made the entire experience informative, interactive, and even fun. That is no simple task when discussing such a difficult topic. I wish I would have known about these strategies when I was caring for my Mom!

We moved in under incredible stress in January and found the team to show us patience and generosity without fail. Most appreciated of all, we all had the sense that my parents were truly loved by OP caregivers; big-heartedness was shown over and again. Thank you for the culture of kindness you have all created. The staff at Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead: from office and administrative, to the medical techs, to the care givers, and housekeeping crew have been responsive, responsible and reliable consistently during our family members time there. Our family member was treated with the upmost respect and compassion and we are very grateful. A few times our loved one had to be transported to the hospital. The emergency personnel and hospital staff always complimented Orchard Pointe for sending thorough and up-to-date records along with our family member. I recommend this facility to you!

We moved my mom into the memory care side of Orchard Pointe almost a year ago and it has been an amazing experience for her. After checking out multiple different memory care homes, we knew this was clearly the best choice. It is a beautiful facility that really feels like home, and they offer many activities and events. The staff is wonderful, and the caregivers are so kind and gentle with my mom. It is so reassuring to know that my mom is being cared for by qualified, loving people that understand her illness and can give her the care that she needs. Orchard Pointe has been an incredible blessing to our family.

We moved our Mom into Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead a few weeks ago and we couldnt be more pleased! The move in process was well supported - they even suggested a mover! - and everyone was very helpful. Ive spent a lot of time here supporting Moms transition and I am so happy about the staff - they are helpful, caring and very welcoming. Ive eaten in the dining room several times and the food is DELICIOUS!! This place feels like home! My mom is very happy here and has lots of fun activities to do. We are truly thankful to have found Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead!

My parents moved from GA to AZ so they would be closer to me to manage their care. We initially chose Orchard Pointe because of its location, which is only about a mile from my house. But we soon found out the location was only a minor benefit, as there are SO many other benefits that have made this transition not only tolerable, but joyous for my parents. They love the food, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and most importantly, the care they receive. Everyone goes above and beyond the call of duty. Heartbreakenly, my Dad passed away about six weeks after moving to AZ. My mind is at such ease that Mom is in such a quality facility and she is happy. Thank you Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead!
