After my father was diagnosed with dementia, our family felt lost as to how to handle the situation. We found an amazing solution with Elijah and Seniors Comfort Assisted Living. The facility is the most humane way to address memory issues. The house is a lockdown building but you would never know it. It is a very charming house and doesn't feel like an institution. Our Father has his own bedroom but can move freely around the home. A caregiver is with him 24/7. I also get updates on how he is doing. It is such a relief to know that our father is taken care of. I highly recommend Seniors Comfort Assisted Living.

I only have great things to say about our family's experience with Elijah and the care my mom received. She had advanced dementia and anxiety, and she reached a point where she couldn't be safely managed at a larger facility. She was falling and had multiple trips to the ER. I was distraught being far away and receiving the news that she needed more care than the facility could provide. Finding Senior Comfort Assisted Living was a blessing, and the handwritten notes from other families who'd had loved ones cared for there prompted me to contact Elijah. He responded right away and was so reassuring. He promised Mom would never have to move again, and he kept that promise. She also never had to go back to the hospital, which was very important to us. It just took too much out of her. The quieter home environment brought my mom more peace. My whole family felt more peace, too, which allowed us to enjoy our time with Mom. It was hard being far away and not getting to see her as often as I wanted, and I really appreciated Elijah for arranging FaceTime calls with Mom. He even initiated the call on Mother's Day, which touched my heart so much. It had been over a year since my mom could make any calls on her own. That was a precious gift I won't forget.

Elijah has made my wife, a memory care patient, feel at home and relaxed. The facility is exceptionally clean and there is someone in attendance constantly. As Sue's condition weakened, I was advised, and we asked for a hospice organization to assist. Elijah was immensely helpful, and the hospice organization is wonderful. I was impressed with the concept of a small facility with a home atmosphere. My wife has had exceptional care.

The one time I came to visit my dad it seemed to be going really, really well. It is a smaller facility and good. A couple manages the home and they are doing a really nice job caring for him. I was impressed and they have been meeting his needs. It is not quite expensive for someone who is not as mobile. I think he is getting better care and one on one.

Very clean area with people who seem to understand the care needed for those with needs. I like the idea of a smaller place, a lot cleaner, and having somebody there that my mother can talk to and enjoy her remaining time with who seems a lot like her. We get to keep Hospice that we had before so she has familiar faces too. We move her into the house in about four days so we'll see how it goes. But since she has been doing some short stays at other places over time, this was the best so far we've seen. I'd give it five stars if she was already there and been there a while. But it is a five star facility, lots of safety features for those with those needs and considerations. But since it is just by initial checking it out and comparing, I'll use four for now.

First of all, this is no ordinary long-term care - Comfort at Home is extraordinary. Elijah is one of those rare human beings who really cares about the difficult patient that other facilities can't handle. He has a true gift which my husband benefits from. There is absolutely no better facility than this.

I was very impressed from the very beginning talking to Elijah. He was so helpful in answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable that this would be a good fit for my husband. I found the place without any difficulty with my GPS. I followed him to his second house where Dave would be staying and it was a very scenic tour driving there. It was only a few minutes, but a very beautiful area. He introduced me to the other clients that were there and gave me a tour of the house. It was very clean and had all the facilities that Dave would be needing. He introduced me to his brother-in-law who is the care taker of that house. He was very personable, caring and I could tell that the number 1 thing that was important to him was the well being of the clients in his care.
