My mother-in-law lives alone in Sun City snd does not drive. We started using Adultcare about 7 months ago when we needed help with errands, shopping, prescription pickups and most of all transportation to many doctor appointments. Our Care Manager Kelsea Dockham has been excellent. Kelsea is prompt, communicates well and is very flexible in scheduling caretakers, even on short notice. I based on their Google reviews, I contacted Adultcare Assistance to help with what I initially thought would be a few hours a day of home health care for a dear friend who was battling cancer. I met with Anna Donnelly, two days after the initial call, and what ended up also being the day after my friend’s oncologist told her the chemotherapy was not working and her recommendation was to go home, put her affairs in order and call hospice. Anna met with me and my friend’s husband, and then with my beloved friend to independently assess what she thought would be our needs. She also gave us a referral to a hospice Adultcare had a good relationship with in another area of the valley . It took multiple calls from me, then Anna to get a next day interview with Faith Hospice. Anna attended the meeting with Hospice the next day (Saturday). After her assessment with Hospice, Anna recommended 24 hour/day care rather than the 6 hours/day I initially thought would be necessary to help me and the family manage my friend’s needs. Anna immediately began filling our needs for 24 hour care to begin THAT DAY. Sadly, my dearest friend lost her battle 6 short days later. Anna, and the caregivers who helped us survive those final days were nothing short of a GODSEND. Faith Hospice didn’t respond fast enough to even provide the necessary supplies for my friend’s basic care (I was ordering everything we needed from Amazon), but through Anna’s guidance, I was able to realize what we needed for nursing oversight and pain medication to make my friend’s final days as pain free as possible. Those were the longest six days of my life. I do not know what we would have done without the meticulous, attentive care of the staff Anna assembled in real time. Adultcare Assistance gave us the opportunity to focus our final days and hours on reminiscing, laughing, loving and saying goodbye. We were able to be loving friends and family rather than being overwhelmed by the needs and demands of caregiving. Going into this, I had no idea our loss would happen so quickly, but I do know, Anna Donnelly, her team (especially Samantha) got us through one of the most difficult events any family will face with unfaltering support and care. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend them enough.

I have used Adultcare Assistance Homecare since November of 2024 when they cared for my mother-in-law for a week while I had to go to Colorado to settle an estate. They were wonderful. Overall I am very satisfied with the care I have received from Adultcare Advantage. Carla, the phone receptionist, is pleasant and helpful in her response to my needs. Melissa Allen, my personal caregiver, is one in a million! She is hardworking, thorough, and responsive to my every need. Mae Burke, my weekend caregiver is also very good and responsive to my needs. Joey, a scheduler, has been attentive to my wishes as far as possible. I have had some difficulties with previous schedulers, but I believe they are no longer there. i feel that some individuals in the oversight capacity (Nicole) treat me like a forgetful old lady. I am in fact, very alert and capable of responding to questions about my own health and well-being. I dislike and resent my caregivers being grilled about my condition, and prefer to be questioned directly about these issues. Anna, my case manager, has always been cordial and has my best interests at heart. She is responsive when i discuss a problem with her, and follows up with the resolution. Overall, I feel I am receiving very good care from Adultcare.

Orientation was designated pretty quickly. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The offer of monthly in person training is great. First on the job training was about a week and a half later. Super fast for those that know. I had another caregiver walk me through what needed to be done for 1 hr before being put on my own. Lots of prep notes. Patient was super aware and had me on my toes the whole shift. Which was nice. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

My mother was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital. I live out of state & was unable to be there with her. Anna and her team, helped my mother. They checked on her in the hospital & were able to transport her home the next day. They also stayed with her a few hours until she was settled & check on her the next day. What a blessing.
