My brother has been at Legend Oaks for almost 2 years and the staff has been kind and helpful. They call me and keep me updated with my brothers care and I feel a warmth from all of his helpers, from the RN’s, dieticians and even the cleaning ladies, who keep things tidy, are precious. Thank you to the social worker, Rachel, for going above and beyond and the director, Edel, for prompt and helpful communication. I would recommend Legend Oaks to anyone.

My elderly aunt needed short term inpatient skilled nursing and rehab after she broke her leg and had surgery to repair the break. I was very pleased with every aspect of her care at Legend Oaks North Austin. Everyone who worked with her there was friendly, compassionate, and highly competent. My aunt made great progress there and was able to return home after 3 weeks.

As a hospice liaison I visit a lot of facilities and highly admire Legend Oaks and the work they are doing. They care about their patients and work hard to create an atmosphere filled with community and kindness for their patients. They put so much work not just into the clinical aspect of their facility; but also in the enrichment of their residents. Cici keeps them engaged with activities that aren’t only fun but also work their motor skills and keep them active, engaged, and happy. My dad was in Legend Oaks for 5 weeks doing rehabilitation. The facility was very clean, and the staff was professional. There was a White stout guy who really helped with my dad. Whatever my dad needed, he did not act like it was a bother to him. I saw him handle the patients with compassion and respect. My dad had to do outside dialysis, and the staff always had him up and ready to go to dialysis. When he came back if lunch or dinner was over, they would save his plate and then warm it up for him. This does not sound like much, but it is when you are away from home and depend on others to care for you. My dad was always clean, and his room was too. The only complaint my dad had was the food. My dad is very picky when it comes to food. I tasted the food on several occasions, and it taste fine to me. Overall, the place I would give it 5 stars. If my dad had to return to a facility, I would feel confident in bringing him there again.

Went to this facility to meet the staff and celebrate the CNAs yesterday. I was greeted with a smile from the staff and happy greetings of how they could be of service. It was a pleasant surprise. The facility was clean , smelled great, and the staff was attentive to their patients. When meeting thw Director he made sure to let me know how important his staff was to him and 1st and for most the care their patients were receiving. This place is a very comfortable place. Even the different shifts, that you come across, they're all helpful and friendly to you. The food is quite good and filling! The beds are comfortable. They have a house cleaner that comes a couple times a day to empty the trash cans and takes care of the bathroom and all of its paper. Keeping the floors swept and mopped clean. My husband recently had a stay at Legend Oaks after being hospitalized. We both found Legend Oaks to be an excellent facility. The facility is immaculately clean. The staff are all knowledgeable and courteous. The therapy team is excellent. Every Wednesday there is a care meeting and the patient snd family are told of the patient's progress and condition in a very friendly and positive and upbeat environment. I hope neither of us has to be hospitalized again or in need of skilled nursing but if so we would use Legend Oaks again and would recommend it highly to others.

Im currently staying here & i dont like it. They cant get my meds straight i haven't seen the doctor for 3 days so i cant get my pain meds they serve food at times i dont eat they don't understand that I have depression and anxiety and I can't handle them not knowing how to care for me. I press the button for help no1 comes. Finally realized it was broken. It took 2 different guys & a whole week to get it working. They also l9st my clothes. A favorite pair of pants & underwear & a shirt i liked. I thought this was a care facility. They're not taking very good care of me!

My best friend's pop recently was admitted there and they were nervous because of the ongoing pandemic and the obvious concerns that go along with healthcare facilities in general. Overall they are good to my grandmother but the weekend is when I stress about her. Seems they don't answer the phone and when I have questions they don't know. It's stressful when my mom goes from seeing granny every other day to none to do this virus so please pickup the phone, even on weekends. Why are some of her clothes and personal items missing?

My mother is a current resident. Staff is nice and try very hard to answer all our questions and concerns. Very understanding and compassionate with my mother’s needs. However the majority of my mothers nice and pretty clothing has disappeared! There are definitely staff members that have no problem violating the elderly and disabled by taking their personal belongings. When I visit my mom and see the clothes that she has left just breaks my heart and upsets me. I get over it when I remember she’s being cared for 24/7 what I can’t provide. The facilities cleaniness is above others I've visited, and the few staff members I did meet seemed friendly and caring. Can't say everything was great as Mom did have some clothing that let's say dissapeared despite the clear sign on the closet door stating family will take care of laundry, and her glasses and other personal items. My mother just completed a lengthy rehab program at this facility. I must say that compared to other facilities, they were OUTSTANDING! As with any business or services there were opportunities, but none that made me feel as though my mother was in harm's way. All issues I raised were quickly resolved and the facility director went above and beyond to make sure that not only the patient was comfortable and secure but we, the family, as well. I am grateful to the entire administration, nurses, therapists, aides, culinary department, salon specialists and all the special volunteers (from therapy pets to the Sunday evening praise service leaders) for the collective effort to work TOGETHER to help my mother complete her wellness program with flying colors!!! #JobWellDone
