Chateau offers a complete package of senior living and care services. Our residents are independent seniors who need a little help sometimes. We are a private, peaceful property located in Kenner. Dad's been here 2 weeks tomorrow..I chose to look past the negative reviews and choose this facility.. We've been pleased thus far.. The physical therapy is excellent!!!!! Staff have been courteous and are meeting his needs.. I do recommend family advocate for those patients that may not be able to or strong enough to do so.. It's a heartwarming environment with such a refreshing sun filled atrium where there's alot of visiting taking place and gathering for the patients.. God's grace and peace be upon chateau living center...

The care is not very well as expected

The physical therapy team is the reason for my star. It took me a year and 3 months to write this review because I wanted to rate it fairly and not out of hurt. My loved one was there for rehabilitation ( physical therapy). Some of the staff can be rude to the patients. Some of the nursing staff are careless and don't call the family when the patient is rushed to the hospital. This happens twice. The second time my loved one died. If not for the physical therapist noticing a change in his appearance and having them call for EMS ( not the same incompetent nurse he had both times, he was rushed to the hospital). He would have died at the facility. The whole staff is not the problem. I understand being understaffed, however this was unacceptable. I think with as much as I visited and the different times I visited. Only a camera in the room would have helped me know that my loved one needed help early that morning or he was being rushed to the hospital.

I was Skeptical about going to the rehab at the Chteau after reading A few of the review, which was not good reviews, but to my amazement, I have nothing bad to say the staff was superb the housing very comfortable entertainment was great I would recommend this facility to all of my loved ones. It’s a great place for rehab room 1008 thank yall

My father wasn't in the facility long, before he passed away, but his short time there was an amazing time. The facility made my father's stay smooth and easy. There was no 1 person that took care of my father. It was all a TEAM effort. From the ladies in Administration to the staff on the floor. My father loved coffee and the ladies/staff served him coffee as often as he asked for it. I didn't interact with many staff members when I came to visit my father, but it was 1 young lady that stood out to me (LaLa) if I'm saying her name right. She said my father was like her father....To all the staff at Chateau, continue to be great care givers for those that need that extra care and continue being a great support for the families love ones...Blessings to each one of you at Chateau Living Center

My mother was in the rehab unit for several weeks. I was impressed with the care, kindness, and positive attitude of the PT, OT, Nurses, Aids, Social workers and Administrator. Oh, and lunches and dinners were good:)

This place is ran so horribly not enough staff to properly manage your loved ones needs. Anyone that has family there you should visit frequently drop in unexpected. Not many people care to do their job. Anyone that has a lack of empathy and compassion this not the job for you this includes administration as well.

MY Mother has been there for a little over a year so far everything has been ok I attend her care plan meetings and the nurses and social workers keep me informed as to her condition.Jordan the administrator is very professional and addresses any concerns immediately.Shauna the receptionist is very professional and helpful.I have never had a issue that wasn’t corrected on the same day.I would recommend this facility for your loved one!

At this time, the Chateau Living Center of Kenner, one among many nursing homes in Kenner in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, provides the specialized care that the CDC looks for, for folks age 65, and older, who are considered by the CDC as being particularly at risk for infections by the COVID-19 virus. It also has a kindly "ambiance" that helps the residents feel that they are truly enveloped in a family atmosphere. Yes, all of us long to return to our homes, but we are grateful to be here where we are sheltered, in a place full of hope -- and of hopes that are fulfilled.

Reminds me of the Navy enlisted barracks in Keflavik, Iceland where I was stationed 1975-1976. I am here for rehab after a right hip replacement. This is too far away from all the activities and people who rely on me in New Orleans. Eventually I expect to be able to return home, to drive my own car again once my treatment is finished here. However, right now the rules are that if I want to travel away from the center, I have to arrange to be picked up by a relative or friend -- which means I have to hope they can fit me into their schedules.

Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms and Common Areas. Insufficient seating in rooms, but that maybe to promote use of common areas. Note: I base my opinion from observations as a visitor who only stayed a short time.
