My time and experience with the Cascadia Team was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The staff was welcoming, understanding, and went above and beyond even for the smallest request. The Activities Department had an endless supply of positive energy. The choices of activities were inclusive and unique, took the boredom out of the day.

The people here are so nice, helpful and understanding. Alpine is the superior side. Cristal is the best CNA on Alpine. You other CNAs should learn from her. Cass is the best social worker ever! She gets five stars to herself. And even though Katie isn’t my RT and I don’t need an RT she is the best!

I had the opportunity to spend time with the team at Cascadia of Boise, and I was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are attentive, and you can feel the commitment to resident well-being. The level of thought, creativity, and intention behind the Activities Department and their programming is remarkable. It’s clear they don’t just plan activities to fill time ..they design experiences that spark joy, connection, and purpose for the residents. The day I was there they were dressed in costumes along with other staff for Valentine's Day. Employee support for dress up days really spills over to resident satisfaction and joy. You can tell this team truly cares about the people they serve, and that kind of culture should be recognized. Wonderful staff, strong leadership, and meaningful engagement happening every day. Highly recommend!

My mom lived at Cascadia Boise for 2 1/2 years. The staff were good to her and she made many friends there. we would have liked it better if they had more CNAs to help answer the call buttons. Sometimes it took up to two hours to get a helper. The billing department was always very helpful as was the physical therapy. Many of the staff showed great love to my mom and she loved all of the activities there. we thank all of those who served mom so well.

Never put anyone you love in this poor excuse of a facility unless you don't care if they are parked in their wheel chair in the lobby all day or it takes 2 weeks to get a shower! They are not above messing around with your medication especially pain meds don't bother asking to see a Dr. Or even getting a phone call from a Dr they don't exist in this place they're just names on prescriptions that are given to patients without the patients being notified by a Dr sad place bad place

My time at Cascadia has been filled with caring and encouraging people. The nursing staff have been caring and do a good job at meeting my needs. The therapy staff have been very helpful in me meeting my rehab goals. Activities staff have been fantastic. Alicia, Daisy and Joan are amazing people.

Daisy works in activities and has been amazing with my loved one. She’s patient, upbeat, and really knows how to engage residents in ways that make them feel included and valued. Every time I visit, I see her taking the time to talk, listen, and encourage participation instead of rushing through tasks. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the people she works with, and it shows in their mood and energy. We’re grateful to have someone like Daisy there ” she makes a real difference.

I came to the facility 2 years ago because I had a trachea and my wife, who was taking care of me, passed away and I couldn't get quality home-based care. The staff here are excellent. All my needs are being taken care of. This facility is a Hilton compared to other places I've been. I highly recommend this facility.

Daisy is a very sweet lady she takes her time and job very well she goes far and beyond to help and care for others and she loves her family and friends she is the Mostes hostess around Cascadia and she is an amazing excellent in activities Alicia is an amazing instructor and influence on Daisy I would come here to Cascadia if I had to just to be with the people here!!! Overall experience of my time visiting this SNF was great. It has a great look to it and creates a weclcoming environment for a long or short term stay. Staff were pleasant and answered any questions I had during my visit there.

Cass was super helpful and always gave her best to make sure my dad was covered by the VA, which can be a difficult process at times. She made everything go smoothly without any surprises and always checked to make sure my dad was comfortable and taken care of. I’ve been living here less than a week and noticed that a staff member went in one of my bags and stole property from me and the director refused to do anything about it. Sometimes I push my call button for assistance and 45 minutes later I’m still waiting. Last Saturday I had a shower, after my shower I needed my leg wound dressed. I pushed my call button informed the CNA and he said he would get my nurse. An hour and a half later the nurse finally came in to dress my wound. They turn off the air conditioner at night and the room temperature gets up to 80 degrees according to the thermometer on my room clock. I ask the staff to adjust the thermostat and they do nothing

Since my last review the facility has gone through many positive changes. The administration, nurses, CNAs, and therapists do a great job in getting their work done. The kitchen helps me to eat what I want using what they have to work with.

Edited: What I had to watch my dad go through care wise last summer was awful. The physical therapists would have to change him out of soaking wet clothes instead of being able to focus on his therapy. One day I came in and the physical therapists were changing him out of the brief I myself had changed him into the night before, 17 hours later. His care improved after he developed an infection and I threatened to take him to the hospital but he still did end up moving to a diff facility with a bed sore. I will forever be traumatized by the lack of care I witnessed my father go through here last July. I hope so much that someday soon policies for required staffing in nursing homes will change. I was recommended this facility for my dad’s stroke rehab as the person spoke highly of the director of nursing. He is now a long term care resident. The facility itself is really nice. I like that each room has its own shower, that is not super common in nursing homes. The staff they have is so friendly and caring and takes care of my dad. He seems happy. I think his care is above average compared to most idaho nursing homes.

The staff at Cascadia of Boise were wonderful. Cass, Ryan, Angie and Patty took great care of our Mom. Cass worked very hard to make sure our move from Idaho to Washington went smoothly when Mom was ready to be discharged. Thank you to everyone.

Cascadia of Boise on Denton has been great to our mom Carmen!! They take really good care of their patients!!! Shout out to Cass, Ryan, Laura, Anna, Teresa, Angie, Angelica, Shad, Crystal, Steve and everyone else I didn't mention!!! We would definitely give a referral to anyone that might need rehabilitation services!! The staff is amazing and very caring!!!

I came to the facility on may20 with a severe broken neck requiring delicate care by staff. I wish I could remember all the of the wonderful staff that helped me greatly during the time I was here. I also injured my right arm to the point I could not move it and the staff in the physical therapy worked with me to the point I AM now back to 90 percent on the way to full use. Couldn't find the additives to describe them better than top notch. very knowledgeable and thorough in this application of the injury.reversal. Very pleased. Regarding the staffing , The Cand A's that took care of me expertly whose names I can remember as there we so many are, Anglena What a caring Lady, on her way to becoming a Registered Nurse. is attending college and working her way with great grades...Wonderful Caring Lady. I much appreciated her. Khaliah and Wayne, A married couple working there with such obvious professionalism and care, So ready to help me..Much appreciated attitude by both. Kate, Very good qualified C and A working her way to RN and im certain she will make a great Nurse given the caring concern she exhibits in attending to her patients. ANGIE. Ever present ANGIE,i, always first on the spot when you turn on the call light. Great attitude, always makes everything fun. A true professional also working hei way to RN by going to School while working. Cristal a veteran at Cascadis is great help, very Professional, knowledgable and capable helper for you. You will always appreciate her quickly performing her duties to your satisfaction.. Any one will find a well trailed staff ready to help you thru your journey to recovery. You will be pleasantly surprised. Food,,,, The kitchen is great, all meals on time, hot dinner plate, cold fruits. All meals tailored to help you recover from your malady. I'd rate them 5 stars out of 5, Run by a caring lady named Lisa, who visited with me several times to insure I was happy with the content and the way it was prepared. Cant ask for anything better than that. Whoever hired her, hired a true caring professional.. You wont be disappointed.. Frankly I was very pleased by my experience here. UncleDoug.

Most of the 5 star reviews come from people who work here. I am a resident and have been here almost a year. The administration here at this facility are above par. They truly care and do try to help you get things worked out. However this does not always trickle down to the people who are actually caring for you. The call wait time is usually horrendous. Usually waiting between 45 minutes an hour and a half. I often wonder what if something has really gone bad and you need someone faster I don't know SMH/. There is nothing ultra fantastic about any care facility. They are what they are- Nursing homes//. There are no really good facilities. if you truly love your loved ones and can arrange it in any way. take care of them at home.

Cascadia has the most amazing, lovely & kind hearted people working there! The nursing staff & RT staff are incredible with the residents! The therapy department is amazing, along with our actives and social service departments! All leadership staff including business office, medical records, admissions and HR etc.. are incredibly helpful! They even have a transportation guy! Promise you won’t be disappointed in the care they provide!

My mother in law did rehabilitate at Cascadia of Boise. As a family we were extremely grateful and pleased with the staff for their care of Mom. The rehabilitation team is outstanding and got her back to enjoying life. I’m very proud of the work at Cascadia of Boise and I feel thankful to be apart of the best elevated care facilities in Idaho. We even celebrated her 90 th Birthday while she was there. The staff and leadership of the building put Family first.

Unfortunately my Mom has been here during the Pandemic. We have not been able to go inside to visit, which we understand. When we call to check on her, 70% of the time the phone just rings non stop. When we do get someone on the phone they never seem to have any info and inform us that someone will call us back, they rarely do. I have had visits at her window where I have witnessed her push the Nurse button and no one come, I have had to go to the front desk to get a Nurse to help her. I am writing this review as we again wait for a Nurse to help. I can only assume they are under staffed. All in all, my Mom seems to be getting better so I will hope they don't have time to deal with family because they are focused on patient care.

My godfather is currently being cared for here and the staff is very kind and gentle. I'm impressed with how clean the facility is and how positive and optimistic the atmosphere is considering the seriousness of many of the conditions being treated.

We are in a beautiful setting with a variety of equipment to help you meet your goals and get on your way of living! Conveniently located as well . I’ve been in and out of a lot of Nursing Homes and this one is really amazing. The facility is truly state of the art- but more importantly the people there are just exceptional. I can tell they know what they are doing clinically and operationally and treated us so well.
