Overall it's not a bad place but it seems to have some issues with the administration. The population of the building primarily consists of elderly add section 8 the building is normally nice and clean add several large laundry rooms also has a game room and the dining hall plenty of parking Dollar tree right across the street with Home Depot and Net Cost.

Nice staff. Hard working. But not so easy or fast to get in. After tons of paperwork, and documents. Corrections and more documents. Being shown the apt and believing I have it. Two different move in dates were cancelled. And still waiting approval! I pay my rent and utilities. Good standing with old landlord. Low Social Security so I have to work part-time to subsidize it to live. Single. My apt was already sold out from under me, and I have a move out date coming. But third move in not given yet. No reason! I thought it was a sure thing. Now not so sure and fear homelessness! I have no criminal record. Am an English speaking citizen/non immigrant. But from what I saw, that may not be a plus. I don't know anymore! I saved five years for emergency moving because my landlord was very old. But I can't afford anything because rent has doubled even in the hood! It's HUD taking long I think. Not sure what they are having a problem with three weeks and tons of documents and three in person visits later. No clue. But I'm anxious and despairing after being so hopeful. Call backs are rare. Is this how they treat seniors? It's not the staff. They are very busy and courteous. The place is nice. Rent very reasonable. But here I sit and wait the third time! My apt was already sold. I've had something delivered there thinking I was already gonna be in my apartment. And a lot of things here I will need as have to downsize. Already paid for extra storage. And had to cancel my U-Haul and family helping me this weekend as everything wasn't approved yet, a month later! I can't say anywhere else is easier. And all have a three years or longer wait! Best of luck. Hope I get some good news soon. But prepare for tedious paperwork and a long process, and that still doesn't mean you will be approved! Even with a move in date. You will need a signed lease. At least. I'm thinking others wanted to complain but we're too afraid to! I might affect their approval and trust me that has crossed my mind too. (A friend of mine loves it there 10 years) I was told this was a nicer one and I love the area. Convenience for me for buses and work etc. *Update: They got me in on time. Thanks to Joyce and Michelle. Very nice accomodations. I'm grateful to God.
