I was at a Country Meadows event in May 2024 featuring afternoon tea. I was quite impressed by the facility overall, and by this event. Every staff member I interacted with or observed was professional, cordial, and focused on making the experience great. The food quality and presentation were excellent, as was the decor. I've been at many similar facilities and events throughout the country, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw at Country Meadows (especially in contrast to what I've seen elsewhere, which was sometimes impersonal and institutional). I should single out a few staff members and volunteers who seemed particularly attentive: Harley, Cindy, Chris, Chef Sarah, and Peggy. Again, the entire experience impressed me. The guests all received warm personal contact, and seemed to enjoy themselves.

Some good, some bad. I love my cottage. Sarah Dickenson and the dining room staff do a wonderful job with meals. BUT, management has recently made several changes without getting any input from residents. They have decided to move some activities to places that don't work for us. Our resident created library was cut in half. Many of us feel that money is the bottom line and they don't really want to listen to residents.

It was a pleasure meeting and working with Betsy, she made the task of moving my parents to the community almost effortless, assisting with contacts for services and other key people at country Meadows. I'm forever grateful!

Betsy and the staff at Country Meadows have been absolutely wonderful in helping our family navigate my mom's move into her cottage at Country Meadows. We can not thank her and the staff enough. They have been there for us every step of the way and my mom's cottage is lovely!

My parents have lived in Country Meadows for 10+ years. Day in and day out, the kitchen staff have delivered delicious and nutritious meals served in generous portions. Executive Chef Sarah has ensured there's an excellent variety in the menu and during the monthly brunch, always finds new things to try. She takes time to get to know each of the residents. Assistant chef Annie likewise has taken the time to get to know the residents and adds to the overall dining experience. Mayme (sp?) bakes the best cookies and makes sure my parents have a ready supply! The maintenance team of Marlon and Michael keep the grounds well cared for, plus make any repairs needed in the cottages in a prompt and professional manner. Jamie at the desk on weekends always greets my parents with a welcoming smile.

Country Meadows is such an amazing part of a the diverse community Encore offers in Silverdale! The cottages are so private and unique. I love the layouts and floor plan options! They even have a salt water pool! Jaimie is an incredible tour guide, and hosts such fun events! If you are looking for a place for you or a loved one, I highly recommend checking them out!

Country Meadows is a very special place. At all levels of staff you are greeted and treated with kindness and respect. The level of caring and concern that has been shown to my loved one has brought the kind of peace of mind that can't be measured. Carol, the CNA who works with the residents is very caring and thorough. She has kept me appraised of changes in the very difficult transition of coping with the onset of dementia. The food, facilities, and responsiveness of staff are all top notch and their excellent reputation is well deserved. We love Country Meadows!

My name is Renae Hicks and my husband Bob and I moved from Colorado to an independent living cottage at Country Meadows about a year ago. Jamie Maier is the Operations Manager and my first contact when we were looking for a place to live. Jamie is the person in charge of finances and the staff. I am amazed at the quality of service that all of the staff have here. Our activities director works closely with Jamie planning all the amazing activities here on weekdays. Games, crafts, water exercise, minibus trips, entertainment and much more. Socializing is always available. The maintenance staff is prompt and efficient. Our Chef prepares outstanding meals and the servers are well trained and polite. We have housekeeping once a week and they do a professional job. Jamie does an amazing job of managing the staff. As busy as she is, she always has time for each one of us, the ones who call this their home!

On our tenth anniversary of living at Country Meadows , it is time for us to tell you how wonderful it is. Our cottage is a comfortable fit for us. We use our 2nd bedroom as the "office" and a repository for photo albums and books. The staff here is incredible. They have kept us fully informed and safe during 2 years of Covid, done all our grocery shopping, picked up our medications, and have done something almost every day to raise our spirits. The residents here have made one another feel "at home" and you know all care for each other. They are "family". The peace of mind knowing you have help at hand should your physical circumstances change is priceless. Staff also takes care of your cleaning and maintenance needs. Activities for mind, body, and soul are always available. Oh yes, did we mention planting all our pots with beautiful flowers? There is even a tomato growing contest each year. My mother-in-law lived at Clearbrook for about 3 years before she died at the age of 96. During that time, she had several health challenges, all of which were well handled by the caring staff there. She was treated with respect and dignity. The facility is well kept and always clean. Activities she enjoyed included many music offerings, trips to the store, excersise classes and more. She made friends at her meal times and for the most part, liked the food she was served. After her passing, the family was generously offered the use of the dining room for a memorial where the staff and employees, along with her family were able to celebrate a life well lived.
