Edgemere is a warm and caring place for seniors. The rooms are nice, clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright, with a lot of windows. The food is always fresh and very good. John was helpful and was always kind and supportive. The staff are friendly and caring, and the residents are treated with respect. They offer social events and a cafeteria, plus amenities. Overall, it is a peaceful and heartwarming place for your mum/dad to live.

When you step into the lobby of this community, you're immediately immersed in a rich cultural atmosphere, with the feel of a beautiful resort. A smiling concierge and an attentive team are ready to welcome you, guide you through events, or show you the stunning apartments. During my tour, residents greeted me with warm smiles and friendly conversation. It's truly a special place where you instantly feel a sense of belonging.

Moving into Edgemere was a great decision at this point in my life. The freedom and independence I have is still very important. The surroundings and quality of our team members offer residents many choices such as formal and casual dining, stimulating physical and intellectual activities and social activities with interesting people. I was not surprised that Newsweek ranked us in second place for outstanding CCRCs nationally Edgemere is a real treasure!

I am a chaplain at another senior living community. Occasionally, one of our residents will do rehab work at Edge mere and I will go to visit them. Edge more is always clean and the staff seem very attentive to the residents,

My husband, who has Parkinson's, needed respite. The staff is great and the facility was clean. My husband said the food was good too! I would bring him back there in the future when/if the time comes.

The therapy team, nursing staff, and administrative staff were all beyond exceptional. The rooms, grounds, and courtyard areas are so tranquil, peaceful, and a great relief in stressful times.

As a former employee, I enjoyed my time at Edgemere working as the Lifestyles Manager in The Plaza. The staff in all areas are friendly, polite, and deeply knowledgeable. My joy came from making those connections with residents and their families daily in all levels of care. I also had the opportunity to gain experience from the nursing team on the third floor, they are all rock stars in my book (Rhonda, Kelly, Sankara, Edith, Edna & Nayely)! I have worked for other CCRC's before, and although they are great and wonderful too, Edgemere has a higher level of making your experience rememberable. If you are not sure about Edgemere, visit them and ask for a tour, you will not regret it!

Mom and dad lived at the Edgemere for more than 15 years and were very happy, especially in their apartment. They enjoyed the amenities and the friends they made over the years especially among the staff.

Unfortunately the holidays were an awful time to schedule respite care for my father. 90% of staff/nurses had rude attitudes and zero ownership for task completion.......passed even quick simple things off to someone else or didn't bother completing. UPDATE: Edgemere's Administrator has been very responsive and concerned with our issues. He has been in contact with myself and my Dad through correspondence and by phone. I do appreciate the actions he took to address our issues.

I give Edgemere the best reports in all aspects of my rehabilitation at their facility. The caring and warmth of all the staff was present each day. The nurses, doctors,the therapists (physical and memory) were always knowledgeable and helpful. The Administrator Randy Langford made us feel welcome and comfortable from day one. We loved our stay there and the activities they offered to the patients. Thank you for the concern and hospitality shown to us. We send our love and appreciation.

We recently celebrated a family milestone event in Edgemere's private dining room. We knew we were in for a treat as soon as we arrived. Edgemere's facilities are stunning! The staff welcomed us and led us to our dining room, which exceeded our expectations. The evening was flawless. Edgemere's chef cooked the perfect meal. He spoke to a family member about dietary restrictions and prepared him something unique and delicious. The staff was attentive and did a wonderful job pacing the meal. We couldn't have asked for a better night. Thanks, Edgemere!

Edgemere is a community I have worked with for over 9 years now and very proud of them for recently being ranked the #2 retirement community in the country. Having spent a lot of time in various communities, I am not the least bit surprised. The residents, staff and beautiful grounds make it a truly special and unique place!

I have been involved with Edgemere since 2000 as part of its development and management. The community still has the "one of a kind" retirement experience that so many seniors have enjoyed over the years. While the COVID-19 pandemic certainly affected Edgemere's and so many other communities financial viability, it was reassuring to hear that it has fully recovered as noted in the Newsweek rating. I recently visited the community and was once again reminded of its unique and timeless design and its various amenities. The staff was very hospitable which has always been part of its DNA. The leadership at Edgemere should be commended for taking such good care of this very exceptional community as well as the many seniors enjoying the lifestyle they seek.

EDGEMERE is truly my home!! The staff and residents have been so welcoming. The various activities keep me as busy as I want to be! I have made new friends that are so caring. The food is unbelievably good! Such a variety to choose from both in the less formal Portabella and the Medici which is truly FINE DINING!! I made the perfect choice when I moved to EDGEMERE!!

I have followed Edgemere closely over the years as a lifelong Dallas resident. I was aware of the financial issues heightened by the effects of COVID-19 and was very pleased to learn of the Newsweek rating.
