My mom was here for 20 days. A huge thank you to Andrew with the transportation service department. Andrew was so kind to my parents. My mom truly loved talking to you. Thank you. Valerie with the same department was truly a blessing as well. You guys have a great team. Thank you for treating my mom so well. My dad was able to stay by my moms side each day. They feed my dad a meal each time. They had a bed in the room so they could be together. The nurses were great as well. This establishment was great to both of my parents. Thank you for having a great team! You guys are truly appreciate.

I have been here for five years. While I did NOT want to come in when I did, I never realized what kind of a wonderful community I would become a member of. I would never go back to household living knowing what I know now: community is everything: a Roman Catholic living in a nondemoninational retirement community sponsored by the Buckner Foundation, a Baptist sponsored organization and yet completely at home. We even have a Catholic service every Thursday. It is almost impossible to live here and not feel "at home". It is a wonderful, caring, superb place to live.

My aunt was at Ventana for rehab after a major surgery . I can never say that I am 100% happy with any facility or staff, however the nurses and staff at this place were so amazing. Upon walking in you are immediately greeted with warm and friendly smiles. The building was cleaned imaculenty. No old people or medicine smell.(lol) There was one nurse that took her time and escorted me all the way to my aunt's room where I found her clean, dry with a good meal and in very good spirits. If I were asked for a recommendation for a retirement community or a after care facility Ventana will always be at the top of the list.

My grandmother stayed here for skilled nursing care, and we had a great experience. The nursing staff and therapy team were both excellent, and the food was good as well. We worked with Kristin to get her admitted”she was incredibly helpful, answered all our questions, and made the entire process easy. We highly recommend this facility and would definitely bring her back if she ever needs skilled care again.

My great grandmother was at Ventana for rehab after a hip fracture and she had the best experience. The nurses were caring and the aides were so attentive to her. We hope not to need their services in the future, but Ventana will be our go to and we recommend to anyone who needs rehab.

From the management staff to the doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, shuttle drivers, and concierge team, everyone contributed to creating a supportive and welcoming environment. A special shoutout to members of the nurse and nurse assistant team”Michael Agy, Demarkus Hunter, Adam Williams, Emmanuel Okeke, Gloria Ehia, Israel, and Yemi”whose professionalism and compassion made a significant difference in my wife’s stay at Ventana. Their dedication, kindness, and attentive care truly stood out. The Doctor's, management staff, shuttle drivers and the concierge team also went above and beyond to ensure that not only my wife but also our family felt supported during our visits. The level of service they provided was greatly appreciated and made the experience much smoother. While the overall care and service were exceptional, I did notice one individual from the nurse assistant team and another from the concierge team who could improve their attitude and approach to all residents. The Concierge guy (His) selective helpfulness and rudeness do not align with the otherwise outstanding service provided by the rest of the team. Thank you once again for making my wife’s stay a positive experience and for supporting our family throughout her stay at Ventana. We are deeply grateful for your hard work and dedication! My grandfather lives at the community and just moved into the Assisted Living area. Our experience has been nothing but wonderful. As a family member, having that support with medications, activities, doctor's appointments has made my life so much more relaxed. I no longer have to worry about him being by himself in regards to safety issues and loneliness. He has acclimated really well and loves having people there to talk to all day long. He was also able to bring his little dog which has been an amazing experience. I would highly recommend the community to others. It's beautiful, the staff are very caring about the residents and it's such a blessing to see my loved one having fun again and excited about each day.

The staff took great care of a very close friend of mine. They were attentive patient and kind. They made her feel comfortable and like she was at home away from home. The nursing staff was great as well as the therapy department. If she ever needs rehab again this will be the first place we come back

My experience at Ventana at Buckner didn't meet my expectations, mainly due to inadequate staff support hindering my recovery. Despite a promising pre-surgery visit, the reality of my stay fell short. From struggling to receive timely assistance to experiencing ineffective pain management, the care provided was far from satisfactory. While the PT and OT departments stood out for their compassion and effectiveness, the nursing and CNA staff lacked attentiveness and failed to address my needs adequately. Issues like unchanged sheets, lack of proper wound care, and inappropriate bandages further exacerbated my discomfort. Ultimately, it was only through the intervention of Dr. Howard that my pain was addressed, highlighting the stark contrast between his care and the overall experience at Ventana. I cannot recommend this facility based on my experience.

My mom has lived here for 4 years. It's such a great place despite a few hiccups here and there. No place is ever perfect, but for the safety, security, parking, cleaning, and amenities that she is spoiled with...she feels like a queen. I live in the area and visit often, and I really enjoy the vibe. They even have a nice gym and a pool. Goals...

My grandmother was just in rehab here for a little over a month. Every time I visited, the staff was so welcoming and helpful and always remembered me. Grandma can be a handful sometimes and the patience both the nurses, especially Jennifer, and the therapists had with her was refreshing and greatly appreciated. The progress she made was amazing and I can’t recommend Ventana more!

My dad stayed here after several falls and went into rehab facility. The rehab staff was great. His room was sparse and the nurses were TERRIBLE They were rude and never got my father’s meds right. One nurse even argued with him when he told him they were incorrect. They need to do major improvements on nursing. I called Danika but never received a return call. Also the food was decent but do not expect to eat there with your loved one even if you offer to pay. I hope this is not the typical experience but after reading the reviews it may well be. I’m amazed this was considered the Gold Standard. PVN is so much better!

Everybody at the Ventana is kind and pleasant. But not one resident can operate their television. You are forced to use Spectrum at The Ventana. the remotes provided are useless and they don’t actually do anything on the tv. Don’t move here if you enjoy movies or tv in your home because after calling and calling for help , neither myself nor my neighbors can operate the tvs, so we are totally without cable or tv. You just get weary of trying to get help, so you do without completely.

I am here and will be going on Monday, thank God, but do you know these people have a beautiful and fancy facility. I say I wasn't offered a dinner due to the rude kitchen lady who fix food for rehabilitation side along with rude CNA. I can't understand this big high-rise building that out insurance pay and client can't get anything to eat. Gosh, it's only food. Treat your clients better than this!!!! This just a PSA
