My sister and I were nervous looking for placement for our Grandma here after a broken hip. We came and toured and was given information in detail about the facility, their staffing, the certified therapist that would be assisting with healing and strengthen & the options for helping get her back home safe. We were greeted with friendly faces and helpful personas an if we had questions someone always came to answer or explain. Thank you for your care and consideration we know it’s not easy with so many of our family members coming and explaining what we think is best. CNA Tracey was a great help encouraging GMA daily to make sure she is trying so she can get back home.

I really like this facility. I was introduced to the facility for work, then for my mom. The staff was very nice and caring to both my client and my mom. We did not have anything bad the say about the care. Now the food was another thing, I just say need work. We'll my mom had to go back into rehab and yes we picked Avantara again. The few little things we complained about was addressed about were correct promptly even the food was better. Awesome staff. Thanks for the service my mom received.

I can't praise this facility enough! Please keep in mind, in any facility you will have missed call lights, dings in furniture etc, what you will find in all, is the skilled staff members who lead with caring & loving hearts. This not only applies to nursing, its every department from reception, rehab to housekeeping, they all excel in their positions. They deserve more than praise, a little more $$ is helpful as well that makes this a great team!

Avantara Chicago Ridge gets a mark of Excellent from me. I was there for Physical Therapy and I received wonderful care from the staff. They seemed to work together wonderfully. Natasha (Registrations/Admissions), Dayza (Medical Records), and Sherita (Social Worker).....just to name a few of the workers....all made me feel like they REALLY cared for my well-being. The first floor, where my room was located, was so nice and bright, and clean, and modern looking. You felt good just being there. I was sooooo glad that they gave me paperwork to continue my PT exercises once I returned home. In conclusion, I would recommend Avantara Chicago Ridge to anyone : )

I felt that the nurses were happy and helpful. To me the atmosphere at the front nurses desk was fun & kind. The therapy team is excellent. Also the social worker team was excellent. We were treated with respect and for the most part all teams over there are approachable. The care team over there based on what I saw loved working there. And they keep the place clean. I'm writing this review because before we went there I was told horror stories about these types of facilities. There were no major issues during my moms two week stay. Just good people over there doing their jobs.

My 91 yr old Mom needed rehab after fracturing her hip in two places. After visiting 7 other facilities Avantara was number 8. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. The Director showed me the facility, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. My concerns were addressed and so were my goals for my mother. Her stay was 9 days. The nurses and CNAs showed concern and empathy. The therapists accomplished the goals we established from the start. I felt that mom wasn’t just a number but that she was family. Mom is home now and thriving. If I had to go through this again I would choose Avantara. Great experience not only for mom but for me as well.

"My mom had a very positive experience at Avantara Chicago Ridge for post-hospital rehab. The therapy team, was outstanding and helped my mom regain her mobility much faster than I expected. The facility itself is clean, modern, and feels more like a boutique hotel than a typical nursing home. A big thank you to the doctors, nurse practitioners, the nursing staff, CNA's and all the staff for their help in the process of getting my mom back on her feet so she could return home. Over the years my mom has been in plenty of rehabs after surgery but by far this is the best one. It wasn't perfect but what place is perfect?

This facility and its staff are great. I've had 2 surgeries and requested to comeback with my second because of the wonderful experience with my recovery the first time. I also referred others for rehab and long term care.

My mother in-law received excellent care during her stay at Avantara Chicago Ridge. The staff was attentive, kind and skilled. Special shout out to Tiffany from the wound care team. Thanks to the receptionist for always having a warm smile and welcoming greeting.

no traanspotation for medical appts. must be paid in advance ??? was told medicare does not pay / nor blue cross shield ?? However if you are on MEDICADE its FREE !!!!

I have been here for over 1year. The experiences I have had been great. When I first got here, there was a nurse. We called her Miss V And a doctor O. Those two people were instrumental in getting me the Care that they went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. And occupational and Physical therapy are awesome. The staff here have gone over And beyond to continuing making my stay here, a great one. I have been on the second floor since I’ve been here and the nurses and the CNAs that are on this floor are awesome Especially my CNA, Miss Kina. And the activities people that they have here Miss Kiara, Miss Delaney and Miss Joy are above amazing. And the food is good too. I have gone to visit many people at different nursing homes, rehabilitation centers And this one by far is the cleanest I have never seen and smells good when you walk through the front door. So if you are looking for a place to bring your loved ones, this is the place.

cMy Daddi was cared for in this facility June 18, 2024 thru July 6, 2024. All CNA responsibilities were done by my family, we preferred it that way. His facility doctor, Dr O. was a very compassionate soul. She handled him like she would her own parents. Took time to explain his medical issues and listened. Facility nurse, Jamille Lightfoot was very smooth, patient, respectful, and resourceful. If questions arise about meds and procedure. She had answers and when she didn't she inquired of others. Than there is Nurse Hose Taupo. He was the one who was assigned to give my Daddi his meds. He was very joyful, patient, and compassionate when he served my Daddi. Always had a big smile on his face, and was very respectful. He never put any pressure on him to take his meds. When he would, , Nurse Hose aka Walter just came back later. The main Physical Therapist, Nikoleta N., was divine! What compassion patience she showed my Daddi. She smoothly bumped him up before getting him going. She took her time as it was her family members. She always took her time with him and no force was applied. When she asked if he wanted to stop, she respected his words. She is very kind and her desire to help others, reflects well. Even though we serviced my Daddi in the responsibilities of the CNA.CNA Tracy Bailey, kept herself available for whatever we had needed. She helped in taking him out and in bed, getting linens, food trays, and constant checking in to make sure we had no need. Her pleasantness, patience, compassion, and professionalism, to name a few. Gave us comfort that she cared for the well being of our loved one. Love that she didn't over crowd us with unnecessary nonsense. I can't remember the Speech Therapist's name. But the young lady was very, very, very patient with my Daddi. She spoke soft and kind to him. She didn't force him to eat nor drink. Her soft voice and kind words encouraged him to do so. I gave it a three star rating because the room needed thorough, including the windows. I used a wet soaky big towel and cleansed the floor, it was dirty black. Did the same with windows on the inside. Overall, I would refer this location in Chicago Ridge.

My Cousin was sent to Avantara in a very weakened condition after two hospital visits. Because of the physical therapy and help he received at Avantara Chicago Ridge he is now walking and able to be moved to assisted living, where he can have his own studio apartment and keep his cat. Andrea was excellent at commutations with the family and went beyond the call of duty in helping my Cousin. Also, Keshia, Blair, Jo Jo, Jeff and Marcy in Physical Therapy, and Roy were instrumental in helping John get better and were all very kind and patient. We thank you for all your excellent help.

My mother was at this facility for three months Compared to other facilities this place is 5 star!! Clean , caring and above all extremely modern. Since my mother left this place she went down hill! She has passed away.

My experience was very positive. At patient discharge the nurse was exceptional when explaining my mother's loadout of medications and making sure she had a supply to take home. Her chart was prepped and communicated to her primary care doctor so he could continue to assist in her care once she was brought home. The staff worked well with our care giver for showering and physical therapy. Any mishaps were ironed out with good communication.

My Aunt was staying at Advantara Chicago Ridge for maybe 3 to 4 weeks. Some how her things ended up getting lost somehow??. Advantara has been active with us and working hard to recover the most important things to be recovered. So we are now just waiting for now. Will update soon.
