A really wonderful community on the north side of Spokane that always goes above and beyond for every resident and every family. The team at North Point Village puts their heart and soul into everything they do and it shows. I highly recommend this team without hesitation as I know they treat their residents like family. With kindness, open hearts, and respect, no matter what the situation.

This community is one of the best in the area. The community is well cared for as far as maintenance and grounds. The building itself is beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff genuinely care about the care provided and individual residents.

My tour was SUPER. I even talked to some of the residents and they told me that they really loved it there. I was VERY IMPRESSED.

My mom has been here for 3 1/2 years and we have been very pleased with the staff and care for her. There are many activities for those that want them and a hairdresser in the facility. No place is perfect.

Do not go here if you need to have medical care for your senior. The medical staff leadership is uncooperative and unresponsive. They searched my dads room at night and took his over the counter medicine and ointments, made him feel very uncomfortable. Medicine was mismanaged, not provided, and critical medicine was skipped because of clerical error on there end. There is a reason the continually have availability. The food is bad as well. My dad toilet didn't work the whole time he was there, even though we complained over and over and they attempted to fix it. Instead of going the extra mile to fix the situation, they said it was his fault and left it at that. His toilet was broken for months until we moved him. The only reason I gave them two stars on behalf of my dad is because the day to day providers for the most part were nice and friendly. For the price, completely not worth it.

I have been a resident at North Point Village since July 2022. Recently there was an outbreak of Covid in our community. The management team and staff were right on top of it to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all the residents. They put into place measures to avoid the Covid from spreading. Thanks to their quick response and skilled nursing practices, they held the upper hand and successfully kept the Covid contained. Thank you NPV management and staff.

From my first Phone call with Robert Paulson I had a good feeling about this place. After touring North Point as well as several other assisted living locations I knew that North Point was the place for my brother. Robert and Marni went out of their way to help answer my questions and let me know that my brother would be well cared for. It is very clean albeit the construction / remodel going on, but looks like it is nearing completion. Food looks great and I had a chance to talk to a few of the residents as well that praised Robert and the staff.

Robert came through for us when we were in a bind and we are so grateful! Robert worked with our team at LifeStage and got my loved one into a studio within a short time frame with borrowed furnishings until we could move his own furniture in. Robert and his staff have really bent over backwards to spend time with us and especially my loved one to help him feel welcome, easing the transition. They have continued to be caring, attentive and friendly and we're happy to say that he has a new home and is being cared for. The only reason I would not give 5 starts is because I almost NEVER do! There have been a few times it's taken staff a long time to assist my loved one when he used the call button but I think we have that figured out, and I wish there were a few more levels of care , or more graduated levels of care, available that could reduce some of the costs. So far it's been a great experience! Thank you!

Five stars truly isn't enough. Robert Paulson and North Point Village are off the charts, in a league of their own. Robert took us in and instantly became family to us. He has helped us in so many ways from the emotional side of moving our loved one from their "forever home" into North Point to the physical side of helping line up movers, measuring furniture, helping pick out new furniture. He's been family to us through the process and you can't ask for more than that. I highly recommend Robert and North Point Village to anyone looking for the perfect addition to their family as they transition into this stage in life.

From the moment we first toured North Point Village, the staff has been extremely friendly, caring and supportive. Tracy, at the front desk, has been so kind and helpful and is always professional. We enjoyed seeing many of the residents love stopping by to talk with her like they were family. Robert has especially gone out of his way to help us through the decision making process and has made this transition so much easier for all of us with his positive attitude, joyful heart, regular check-ins and his attentiveness to all our questions along the way. He has also really helped my Dad feel extra welcomed and part of the family and we can’t thank him enough. The service the entire staff has provided is very professional and caring. I am very happy and pleased to call this my Dad’s new home.

This community was 5-stars when owned by Brookdale. Unfortunately, it has plummeted under Pegasus. Staffing is a major issue. It's a revolving door. Not just with the med techs but with management. The last three Executive Directors have only made it about 9 months. Their billing system is antiquated. Forget online bill pay, the only modern way to pay your bill is to give them access to your bank account. AND you better have lots of money as they've ended participation in the medicaid program so once you run out of money your loved one WILL be kicked out. Also, there is no way to get a corrected bill if you find a billing error. You have to wait for corporate to issue a credit. The facility itself is uninviting There's been gross glue stains on the stairs between the first and second floors for at least a year. They started a remodel around the front desk and have never finished it. Despite what is promised, the bottom line is Pegasus cares more about getting your money than about caring for your loved one. There are several better options close by. I'd suggest checking them out first.

I had my mom here for a total of 3 months. I moved her elsewhere. This place is poorly ran. Staff is over worked. (The ones that stay). Nothing but problems. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother listening to all the promises when you tour this facility. Not one thing was accurate.

Friendly staff & wonderful residents. The facility has had several owners. Most of those owners were qualified to operate the facility. The new ownership needs education regarding senior care. Pegasus Senior Living's experience is taken from the "hospitality" industry. I hope they get up to speed as to the difference. If your family member is a resident, be vigilant.

My mom resides in the main building and my father was in the memory care cottage B until his passing. Being ’ - no place is perfect all the time but I have more confidence in this facility than any others out there. They really have/did make my parents have a home which was most important to our family. I could never show enough gratitude for the care that they have provided for not only my parents but our family. P.S. this memory care is the best!!! Small 11 resident cottages that are shaped in a squarish/rectangle shape. Better one/one care/attention. Big building apartments are wonderful and spacious. The aides and med-tech's are amazing in the continuing care of my 83 yr old mom. Definitely go and visit this place if you are looking.

Great community - our family business works with seniors in transition and North Point Village has been a consistent resource for us to refer our clients and families to as their staff is very accommodating and professional.

Let me just say some of the staff are wonderful. But the director of nursing, and some of the nurses are really lacking. They don't keep informed on residents conditions, medications etc. If you need more assistance than other residents, like getting dressed, or help with personal grooming, it all depends on whose shift it is as to whether or not you'll get assisted. Food here is blah. No nutritional value, no seasoning, poor food quality overall. Menu sounds good, but it isn't. Housekeeping is good, laundry ok. Programs for visually impaired are nil.

Warm and welcoming community. The staff is so friendly and I feel at ease knowing my loved one is being so well taken care of here. Medina toured my family and I when we were thinking about making the transition and she truly was the selling point for us. She put my worries to rest and answered every question I had. She truly went above and beyond to make this hard and emotional process as easy and stress free as possible and I’m so glad I chose this place for my loved one to stay. Best decision!

This is a review of the Main Facility, not the Dementia Care Unit. Do not have your loved one cared for here if they are in need of physical and mental care. The majority of aids are too young, inexperienced and immature to handle the demands of an early dementia resident with physical limitations. If your loved one is healthy, active, and not in need of ANY special care, NorthPointe can be a good choice. As soon as your loved one becomes incapacitated, please consider a smaller facility, such as an adult family home, where the aid to patient ratio is a much smaller 1:6. Please consult with an elder care management specialist who can help place your loved one with the right facility. Details of mental care issues: Repeatedly told by aids: "you take too much time"; "you're going to the back house" (dementia unit); "you're going to a nursing home"; "I won't come back to change the temperature in your room"; "come on, move your feet"; "hurry up." Definition: Mental mistreatment or emotional abuse is deliberately causing mental or emotional pain. Examples include intimidation, coercion, ridiculing and harassment. Details of physical care issues: My mother was left for extended periods of time in an uncomfortable position (bedsores developed shortly after leaving NP); my mother at times was not assisted with basic hygiene such as face washing and brushing teeth (resolved after my intervention); my mother's gate belt was used over her breasts (very painful) after my mother requested it not be (resolved only after my intervention); isolating her from others when she was assisted with eating (my mother requested to eat in the dining room and was made to remain in her own room); being jerked around in her wheelchair by resentful aids. Most retirement communities have a great sales team, and might look and sound great, but are not a good choice for elderly patients with a higher than average need - regardless of what the facility promises. Also, don't believe that Northpointe accepts Medicaid when and if the funds run out.
