My mom has been at Fairwinds over eleven years and we are extremely pleased with her experiences there. The health and well being of the residents is a priority. Staff is well trained, friendly and competent. There are a variety of social and wellness activities available. At 98 my mom has remained active and engaged in these activities - exercise, yoga, Tai Chi, pinochle, balloon volleyball, book club.... When she has had health concerns staff has been incredibly responsive. A wonderful place!!

My mother lived at Fairwinds for 15 years and had a wonderful experience. She started being an independent resident and was involved in everything. As time went on we were able to utilize her long-term health care for additional needs and in her last year was able to bring in hospice for end-of-life care. The staff were wonderful in assisting us in making the correct tough choices and it was especially nice that we never had to move her from the apartment that she first moved to. The staff were our family. My mom would often comment how fortunate she was living at Fairwinds and wouldn't want to be at any other place, and we all agreed. Mom recently passed at the age of 101. We are forever grateful for the wonderful care Fairwinds provided to our mother.

I wanted to give it a year after my grandmother moved in to have enough time to give an honest in depth review. First off, my grandmother moved here after selling her house. She’s not from the area and had zero friends moving in. With me (her grandson and only family) being a little over an hour away, I left my grandmother in the hands of the staff and community at Fairwinds as I can only visit her on the weekends. There was a big adjustment period, both for my grandmother and what seems to be a shift in personnel and operations (possibly due to COVID and the recession). But Fairwinds has been the best place I could have hoped for. Brent welcomed her in and really listened to her and any complaints she had. They have been extremely patient and kind. The staff learned her name quickly, what kind of things she liked and encouraged her to be apart of the community. Now a year later she knows everyone. Has a schedule full of events like exercise, book club live music on the weekends etc. I don’t have any other places to compare Fairwinds to, but they have met every expectation I’ve had. Hats off to the staff here for being so great.

My grandfather lived at Fairwinds for many years. The staff are amazing and overall it exceeded our expectations. They offered so many events, games, social activities, a fitness center transportation, all while keeping residents happy and healthy. I visited often and enjoyed participating in everything.

Fairwinds is a special home for me and love the activities and great help. Each day is a gift with something to look forward to. One can make many friends and enjoy the great service from the great help. Life is more than I could expect in a smaller home but enjoyable.

Best Staff Ever!! Ashle was so great with residents/staff in her dining room position I'm sorry to see her leave there but excited that she is now in the receptionist position. She can answer all questions and if she can't she will find answer from her supervisor. If the dining room manager position ever comes available - Residents & Families would recommend her. Good food, comfortable and lots of stuff to do. Hey, anybody looking for a retirement place Independent living or Assisted Living, come and look at FAIRWINDS - SPOKANE - 520 E Holland Ave, Spokane. There are lots of activities for you to keep busy with, transportation available, we are in great shape as far as COVID-19 is concerned, Fairwinds has done a super job in keeping us safe. Wear a mask and come on and take a tour. You can exercise in the athletic room on all the machines etc. Sit out on the patio in the nice sunshine, also during happy hour.. Ladies, look at this, your apartment is cleaned weekly, with changing your sheets and towels done by Fairwinds, wow such a deal???? Also you don't have to cook, eat in dining room, whenever your schedule is set. Come and look?!!

What a beautiful place to live. Check the pictures of the holiday decor. There are so many things to do that the days are flying by. Thank you, thank you, thank you to our very generous residents for giving to our special Christmas fund for the employees. We set a huge record this year which tells me, as President of our FAIRWINDS Resident Council, that the workers here are appreciated and go above and beyond to help we residents. I wish I could name them all. I also want to thank management for their wonderful caring and positive attitudes toward keeping us safe and making sure everyone follows the rules. Thanks everyone. Our 96-year old mother has lived at Fairwinds for 15 and 1/2 years. She started out as independent and is now on Assisted Living. We are very happy with the care she receives. She is seen by a staff member every night and morning which gives us, her four children, a real sense of comfort and security. We are kept informed of anything of concern with her health and well-being. The administration all have open doors if we ever need to talk to them. While she was very active when she moved in, the aging process now limits her involvement but there are many opportunities to take part in at Fairwinds. We are very thankful for Fairwinds and the loving and caring staff that cares for our mother.

Giving up ones home and modifying your lifestyle is not an easy transformation. And yes when you decide to move into a facility like Fairwinds you are going to be willing to accept a compromise in your living style, understand that your new "friends' do have various health issues that sometimes affects their personality. I am 85 years old, quite active and with a good mid. I find the Fairwinds to be a warm, friendly and resident oriented hoe away from home with a caring and dedicated staff. When my wife passed away I looked at many such Centers and found Fairwinds to be the place where I felt most comfortable.

Fairwinds Assisted Living is an wonderful facility with a very caring and attentive staff. This is upscale senior living for a reasonable price. They cater to a wide variety of senior capabilities and provide daily activities for residents. Their dining facility is inviting and the food is excellent! Their dining staff is sensitive to the residents' dietary needs and desires. It is located close to major shopping stores including Walmart, Target and Shopko.
