I want to give Melissa a big Thank you, for going above an Beyond of just running a personal care home. When my father was in the hospital, an after 3 days of the hospital sending out referrals. No facility could take him. Melissa went to the hospital to access my father to see if he could return to Scenic view. The next Day he was discharged and went back to Scenic view where he is happy.

Our dad and father in law has been a resident at Scenic View Personal Care for some time now because of not being able to be adequately cared for at home and having to have someone with him at all times due to dementia. Scenic View was found, after researching a number of facilities, because of its reasonable cost. After his being there a short time we found the staff and especially the owner to be extraordinarily caring and attentive to his needs. Every time we would mention a concern to the staff they attended to it immediately. Staff is wonderful and caring. The room my dad is in is very adequately large with a bathroom, closet, large window and even television. He can walk around the facility and even walk outside as long a staff member is with him because of his condition. He has well proportioned and nutritious meals and even a reserved seat at the dining table in what we call the community room.. We know the staff by name and they know my dads name. Overall we could not have found a better more appropriate place for him to live and be taken care of, we are extremely happy with our choice. THANK YOU!! SCENIC VIEW PERSONAL CARE

I would like to thank all of the staff at Scenic View for caring for my grandma. I want to give an extra big thanks to Melissa for all that she has done. She went above and beyond to give my grandmother the very best care when she needed it the most. This type of care is priceless when it comes to caring for the people we love the most. It’s all that we can hope for when it’s out of our hands and we have to rely on other’s to care for our family members. On a personal and professional level I want to thank everyone at Scenic View for all that they do. They are the best!

As someone who regularly goes into personal care/assisted living/and skilled nursing facilities, this building is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever been in. They genuinely take great care of their residents and it’s by far one of the cleanest and nicest buildings. I would feel extremely comfortable and confident that my loved ones would be treated as family here and receive the best care available.

Scenic view is one of the best personal care homes I have ever seen and experienced! My sister is there and I am beyond happy with how they take care of her! The owner Melissa goes above and beyond for each and every resident there. Her staff is caring, kind, and loving. This is truly the best!! You will never regret sending a family here. She makes sure to do whatever she can to ensure the best care for her residents! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Wow! I cannot say enough nice things about this facility. I went numerous times to visit my Aunt Sue. The owners care about their residents and employees. They treat everyone like family and the owner goes beyond to make sure everyone is well taken care of.. The facility is clean and decorated so cute always for the residents.

Scenic view and the owners both go above and beyond to provide the best care to their residents. Each and every resident is considered a member of the family and the level of care provided I’ve witnessed here makes this a wonderful and loving place to have your loved ones. Melissa the owner is always available when you need her to answer any questions and ensures each of the residents needs are met. She truly does care about each and every individual. The home is also very clean and beautiful.

Scenic View Personal Care is a beautiful facility hidden in a great setting. It was a God send for my aunt. She loves everything about it from the great staff and all the wonderful girls that treat her like she is their own aunt. The food and meals are perfect for her and she loves them. Melissa is such a caring person and has picked a superb staff of girls to administor the quality of care that cant be beat. She now refers to scenic view as home.

Scenic View is a small assisted living facility in the Poconos that truly treats its residents like family. My grandmother was a resident there about a year and a half before she passed away, and they took excellent care of her. She didn't just make friends there during her time there. She made family. They kept in touch with my parents constantly giving them updates as regarding her good and bad days, and they did everything that they could to put a smile on her face. They also have a cat that resides at the facility to help keep the residents company. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and welcoming place for anyone looking for an assisted living facility near the Poconos.

I would definitely recommend Scenic View Personal Care as wonderful personal care facility. The owner, Melissa is a very caring and compassionate person which carries over to all the staff. My dad has been At Scenic View for about 3 months and I couldn't be happier. An abundant amount of anxiety went into having to put our father in a home and the moment I walked into SV I knew it was the place for him. He is so content here and so unbelievably well taken care of, I mean full on paid attention to. He loves the food, the staff, the owners and the view. After being there a few weeks I asked him how he liked it, his exact words where, "It's (f...explicit) Great! Its like a resort." My father isn't always the easiest to please and was NOT about going into a home, but he transitioned here with contentment, ease and fully comfortable quite quickly. The way SV handled Covid is impressive. Not only just being diligent about the safety of its residents and for me, just as important, allowing as much communication with your loved one as possible. THANK YOU EVERYONE AT SV FROM MY WHOLE HEART!

The nicest, cleanest, facility - surrounded with breath taking peaceful country views - with the most caring owners and staff that we have ever come across in our three and a half year journey of needing a personal care facility's help. Trust me when I say that because I have been inside of or toured at least 27 different facilities in that time! None have even come close to the level of care and compassion we found at Scenic View! It's the first time in three and a half years I feel like I don't have to worry when I leave because I'm at peace knowing he's well cared for! The bonus is he's happier then I've seen him in a long time, despite his current disability! Which says more to me than anything else could!

I placed my mom when the facility opened and to say that Melissa treats the residents like family is an understatement! She treats my mom like she is her own mom! The facility and Melissa could not have come at a better time!!! I am a healthcare worker myself and I work 12 hour full time night shift! I could never have provided the round the clock care she receives! If your loved ones need better care than you can provide for them, then call for your placement before it is too late! Love you and your staff Melissa!!!!
