We moved my Mom into Amherst Meadows in back in April. The staff is exceptional! Every nurse, aide, office assistant or administrator that we have come into contact have been patient with our questions and very helpful to work with. My Mom is in the assisted living wing and she likes her apartment. The staff sincerely cares for your family member.

The staff thus far has been very attentive. They have activities that everyone seems to enjoy. Only one issue I think all evaluations should be done within 24 hours but they assured me it will get done. I will continue to update!!

After almost a year, I'm still getting used to the way everyone on staff greets you with a smile and a positive attitude every time they see you. So heart warming and unusual in these days of so much negativity and hate.

Just moved my mom here from different facility. It's nice and clean here. The nurses are very attentive to the patients needs. We're looking forward to working with the physical therapy team as they were highly recommended to us. Can't wait to have my mom back on her feet again walking.

My grandma just arrived Friday afternoon. The way the rooms are situated is really nice - a sitting area/living room with a kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom with a roll-in shower. My grandma seems to be very pleased with the facility so far. I hope that, when she starts physical therapy, she continues to sing this place's praises . (I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5 because she hasn't yet started physical therapy)

I am a travel nurse and I enjoy working for amherst meadows. They are very organized in all aspects. The Stnas I have worked with were all wonderful at their jobs and I enjoyed working with them. My husband has been at Amherst Meadows for over three weeks now. I visit daily. I am completely satisfied with his care every time I go. Kate, the nurse is the best of the best! Can't provide trash bags to throw trash away. Forced to use small undersized trash bags that rip and don't even fit the trash can. Hardly have enough food to feed people but hey spend money to keep your family here.

Amherst Meadows became the unexpected home away from home for my mother when Illness struck while on a trip to her hometown in May. It was a roller coaster in every sense, but the staff of AM was always responsive, caring, thoughtful, compassionate, usually proactive, and faithfully followed through. Weekends due to staffing challenges were sometimes a bit sub par, but in the big picture, we would not hesitate to use AM again or recommend it. TU AM!

I recently spent time at Amherst Meadows. It is the third Nursing Home l have been in since moving to Ohio. I will say they saved the best for last. I would recommend Amherst to anyone. They helped me get back on my feet. The people are wonderful. I left with a sense of hope that l hadn't felt in a long time. Thank you All for this positive experience!!

My sister-in-law is living there and loves it. The rates are reasonable, the apartments are clean and spacious, and well kept. There is plenty of storage in each unit, and she loves her neighbors. Lori, the property manager does such a great job and knows every resident by name. If I had to nitpick anything, it would be that some units are pretty far from the parking areas, which is rough in the winter, and there are few open spaces for visitors to use. Overall, the facility is top-notch.
