My 101 year old mother has been a resident at Silver Creek Inn for a little over 2 months. Her move there was unexpected due to family dynamics so finding a suitable place on short notice was imperative. I enlisted the help of Amanda from Options for Senior Living and have been more than pleased with the decision to move mom to Silver Creek (and I checked out several other options). The facility is over 55 miles one way from my home so it is not a quick trip to pop in and check on mom. Therefore, having a comfort level with the management of the facility and its staff was vital. Have there been bumps along the road? Of course. We live in an imperfect world, especially the world of health care. Christi, Jackie, Jane and Jamie have been stellar guiding me and mom through these challenges and the relocation stress syndrome mom, my husband and I experienced. These professionals have gone out of their way to accommodate my many and unexpected requests as we worked our way thru "transfer trauma". Their core values, obvious compassion, and competencies helped to ameloriate each stressful situation my mom (or I) faced. The cleanliness of the facility, attention to detail in the decor, design, the multitude of activities and events all create a wonderful reassuring milieu. Mom is now calling Silver Creek her "home" and Christi's Thursday evening classes provide a fabulous unique opportunity for therapeutic activities combined with socialization and conversation to augment the regular schedule. Kudos. Christi; well done. The attached picture shows the love Christi has given to my mom and to us in a very short time. This picture exemplifies the caring that Jane, Jackie and Jamie have also given to mom--I just don't have pictures of those interactions.

From the minute you walk in the doors to this community makes you feel at home! I personally work within the senior communities and have never written a review but I wanted people to know this is a 5 star place for your loved ones to live! With a warm welcoming interior, clean throughout, and the kindest staff! All you need to do is take a tour and you will see what I'm talking about!

I had the true pleasure of being able to attend and participate in Christi's exercise class with her Memory Care residents. First of all, walking through the halls of this friendly and warm environment brought me back in time! The classic pictures of Arizona scenery and old time people are amazing - it was like walking through a museum! For the class - I am so impressed with the way that Christi interacts with the residents and makes each of them feel loved and heard! The class is fun and interactive and the residents really loved it! There is a blend of music, exercise, movement and snacks! It is wonderful to see these residents so involved and engaged! My grandpa doesn't have a google account but these are his words: My wife is a resident at Silver Creek. I have been very impressed with the personal touch that the personnel have in interacting with residents and their families-all way from administration to maintenance. They have recently added an activities director Jane Congaman and she has given activities for residents a very big boost. She demonstrates a personal interest and love for the resdients. I moved my mom here at the end of September and couldn't be happier! They have a very full daily activity calendar and make sure to include everyone. They bake, dance, watch movies, go on outings and that's only part of it. The staff gets to know all of us by name and it feels like home. My mom LOVES it and so do I. They have been a true comfort and blessing.

Silver Creek is a wonderful community designed for folks that have Alzheimer's/Dementia. From their training of their employees, incredible activities, delicious food, the purposeful design and decorations, you will absolutely love it. Highly recommend Silver Creek.

My mom has been a resident of Silver Creek Inn for a little over a year. Prior to coming to Silver Creek she had been in three different memory care facilities, therefore I can say, without a doubt, Silver Creek was the answer to our prayers. While the environment is warm and inviting the real "prize" is the wonderful, professional staff who go above and beyond for their residents. I have great confidence and peace of mind that my mom is in a place where she is not only safe and cared for but where she is also respected.

My husband has been here at Silver Creek for about one month. Jason and Kelly are absolutely wonderful, always kind and efficient. The same is true of the nurses, activities directors, maintenance, cooks etc. Everyone takes such good care of my husband and makes me feel less stress knowing how safe and cared for he is here. Also the food they provide is awesome. Just a wonderful place.

Everyone there is extremely compassionate and has a service orientation. With the exception of the lockdown period for COVID-19, I have visited my wife most days of the week. Accordingly, I have a chance to observe the care that residents receive on a daily basis - it has been consistently high since my wife moved there. Everyone on the staff tries to find ways to help the families find ways to brighten the lives of their loved ones with dementia. The receptionist taught me that, during the lockdown, I could send messages to my wife vis an Amazon Echo Dot device. The caregivers told me they were with my wife when she received the messages. I am convinced that helped her remember me through the long period I was unable to visit her in person. The facilities are clean. The food looks (and smells) quite good. They have a variety of activities geared to people with various levels of cognitive abilities. They work closely with hospice agencies and a variety of medical professionals who treat their resident/patients at Silver Creek Inn. The management lets me participate in my wife's care in a variety of ways. I have not seen a better place in this area for us to get the help I needed for my wife.

I cannot say enough about the staff and management at this facility. My Mother was there for several months before she passed away and all the way to the end there was an immense amount of care for her and our family. If you are looking for a place that treats your loved one like a family member, this is it! Ive been coming here and visiting residents for several years now. Since Jo the nursing director came on last year this facility has been providing the most stellar and compassionate care. Joe is very well informed on providing care for patients with dementia and other cognitive impairments. She uses strategies that support the families and the patients in a way that keeps them happy and healthy. I got to MANY facilities, and this place provides the best care for memory care.

I have been a caregiver for my Dad for a number of years. Several weeks ago, my 2 brothers and I decided that Dads falling incidents and increasing dementia meant that he needed full-time skilled care. As my brothers live in California, it was up to me to find the right place. With the help of A Place for Mom, I was scheduled for tours of all the appropriate facilities in my area. Silver Creek Inn Memory Care Community was my next to the last tour. From the time I met with Logan and Cindy, I knew that this was the best place for Dad. Silver Creek has 24 hour nursing and the entire atmosphere on my tour spoke to the high level of care given to the residents by the staff. It was like I was in a nice hotel, not at all the hospital feeling of other facilities. During the process of selecting Silver Creek and arranging for Dad to be admitted, Cindy, Logan and Paula were always available to answer my questions and provide support during this difficult time.Dad has been in Silver Creek for 5 weeks and every day, I am so glad with our decision. The first 3 weeks were somewhat stressful for Dad and me, but the staff was alwaysavailable to reassure us during the initial transition period. When I showed signs of stress, there was always a staff member there to offer me a needed hug or words of encouragement. I have gotten to know most of the staff and many residents. I enjoy chatting with them or participating in one of the many activities. I wish I could list all the outstanding staff members, but it would be the entire list of employees.On one of my visits, I was fortunate to meet the president, Aaron Koelsch and his son Clark. We chatted for some time and it was clear that they are committed to creating a loving and caring atmosphere for the residents and loved ones. This is a philosophy that started with his parents and continues down to all the staff to this day.Thank you all at Silver Creek for being there for my Dad and me.

When we moved Dad to Silver Creek Inn from another memory care facility, we had no idea how distinctively different their approach to memory care is. Dad not only has an improved quality of life because of the care he receives, but his mind is stimulated consistently throughout the day. Dad had developed some behavior issues at the other facility, and Silver Creek focused on determining the triggers and eliminating them rather than relying on medication. Dad is now well adjusted, and he is getting better every day. Everyone from the top down focuses on ensuring the residents and their families know they are part of the Silver Creek family. We also like the fact that there are nurses on site 7x24, and all medications are administered by nurses vs. med techs -- just an added bonus that a nurse sees Dad daily. Silver Creek Inn is memory care the way it should be!

As most children are when they have to make that tough decision to place their mother or father in an assisted living facility, I was overwhelmed. Through visiting numerous places both here and in SoCal, the last place we visited was Silver Creek Inn. From the time we met Susan and toured the facility, I knew this was the place for mom. The staff - Logan, Amy, Lisa and the rest have been so loving, caring that it made the transition so much easier. But each time I visit my mom and see her smiling and interacting with others - and the care, the CARE the people here provide for her and the others - i coined a 2 letter phrase - BW Beyond Words! because the love Logan and her staff show my mom and the others.... well, it is BW. I cannot emphasize the word Highly enough in saying, I would highly recommend Silver Creek.
