I just found out that the residents are asked to give $200 each in December. Supposedly to share with the employees as a bonus for helping the residents through out the year. Isn’t that why they get paid from Certus? Is this even legal to do?

I am in the process of moving my Mother in. It is a beautiful facility and the people here are wonderful. My wife and I were quite concerned moving her bedroom suite into the facility. We are not young ourselves! A wonderful maintenance man by the name of William came to our aid and helped us with the move-in. I cannot say how much I was relieved to have the help. William went out of his way to assist us during the move-in and answered the many questions we had. It is people like William that let us know we made the right choice with Certus. Our thanks to William and all the staff at Certus!

My dad has been a resident here close to a year. After looking at close to 15 facilities, I felt certain CERTUS was the right place for him. The caregiving staff are friendly and know every residents name, how to assist them and they do so. This is a smaller facility which allows more attention to be given to its residents. The staff of directors are very friendly, respectful and caring to its residents as well as family members. The front office staff, maintenance staff, house keeping staff and activities staff are very attentive, helpful and show the utmost respect for their residents and their families. The chef is new and his food is delicious! The place is kept very clean and seems to be cared foot by everyone. Overall, this is the best place in this area to shelter your loved ones! I feel confident my dad is safe living here and is receiving good, quality care here.

This place has changed our lives. My great Auntie is now living there and she is stimulated every day- having fun and she loves the staff there! They really have fun with her! They all work hard and seem to enjoy working there. The initial tour with Traci- is impressive. Very genuine and you know just how much she cares. The community involvement and parties and extras they do for their residence is amazing! They have wonderful meals too with a personal chef. If you are ever just wondering if it’s right for you- schedule a tour with Traci- you will soon find out how much love you’ll feel being there.

Everyone I've met since my relative arrived has been excellent in caring for her and all the residents I've encountered. The staff keeps them engaged with activities, socializing, exercise, and plenty of opportunities to just have fun. Tracy and Deb were incredibly helpful in the beginning”answering all my questions and concerns”and to this day, they (and any staff member) are always available and willing to help. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for compassionate, attentive care for their loved one.

I’m so grateful for Deb and the team at Certus. My daughter graduated from high school last week, and although my dad was unable to attend, they set up the live stream in the living room for him, and then they all sat and watched her walk across the stage and accept her diploma cheering for her with him. Then, they sent me a video of him telling her how proud he was of her. It was unbelievably thoughtful and very, very special for me and my daughter. I know he is well cared for and I am grateful for a team of people who can help our entire family navigate this difficult time. Thank you Certus!

My mom has recently moved here. I was in town for a week and just hung out with her. I was welcomed every day. She’s had visits from dogs, cooking class, games She’s happily busy here and she sleeps well at night. The staff are so nice and they are well staffed. Fun music is always playing and everyone is smiling. We’re grateful we found a great place for her.

To give this place less than five stars is a shame. The residents here get nutritious, food and care. The care they receive here is outstanding. The place is immaculately clean and the environment is very family oriented. I would definitely trust my loved one at Certus Primary Memory Care. The staff here is professional and loving and creating such a great and loving environment would not be possible without them.

Certus has treated my father Ron so well, with dignity and respect. Going through dementia as a family, watching the decline is very difficult. But every time I visit him, I am greeted with smiles from the staff and I see how much they care for my dad. Great place, and clean. They are a true memory care facility. This is a wonderful community. The Director of Operations, Sarah has created a very cohesive team. It is quite evident from entering the facility that not only are the residents happy and engaged but the staff is as well. The energy in this community is extremely positive. The layout to the building is nice aesthetically however more importantly the attitude and professionalism of the team that care for the aging clients is second to none.

CERTUS--Memory Care in Orange City was next to religious in their care and attention to our Uncle's needs during the last three months of his life while in hospice care. With deep gratitude we thank Joelle Watkins, the director and all the staff including Traci who transitioned our family with grace, love and sympathy.

I visited today and was pleasantly greeted by Michelle at the front desk.
