I had the pleasure of touring Serenades Memory Care Assisted Living in Winter Garden today, and the experience was truly wonderful from start to finish. The community is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful resident accommodations that feel comfortable, welcoming, and dignified. It is clear that great care has been taken to create an environment where residents can feel safe, supported, and at home. Our tour with Shar Staples, the Community Relations Director, was a highlight of the visit. Shar was incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about the residents and the work she does. Her kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness stood out immediately, and it was clear that she truly cares about ensuring residents have a high quality of life. What impressed me most was how naturally the team’s approach reflected values that matter deeply to us; compassion, accountability, respect, and ethical care. Every interaction felt sincere and resident-centered, and it was evident that the staff take pride in creating a supportive and positive environment. This is exactly the type of community we would feel confident recommending to our A Place At Home clients who need a higher level of support. Serenades is fortunate to have someone like Shar representing their community, and her dedication and warmth made a lasting impression. I would highly recommend Serenades to anyone seeking a beautiful, caring, and thoughtfully run memory care community for their loved ones.

I can’t speak highly enough about my mom’s time at Serenades. After visiting numerous facilities, walking into the building was so welcoming and a breath of fresh air. From Cindy at the reception desk to the executive team, nurses, caregivers and even the residents, I immediately felt like I finally found a place where my 98 year old mom would feel at home. As well, I felt at home. After being her primary caregiver for several years, it was important that I remained active in her day to day life. My mom and I spent many hours playing cards in the family living room or relaxing in the garden. I joined her for many of the activities and never felt like I was in the way. All of the caregivers treated her with so much compassion and respect and kept me up to date on how she was doing. As for the nurses, Karen and Mona-Lissa were so attentive and continually made sure my mom was receiving all the services and best care possible. I have no words for my gratitude for those angels. And finally, Paris and Shar. Again, I have no words. These two ladies guided me through the process, ensuring that my mom (and I) transitioned easily into her new home. And they stayed by our sides during the most difficult of times. Serenades is a hidden gem and a wonderful home for loved ones.

I cannot recommend Serenades by Sonata at West Orange highly enough! From my first phone call with Shar, the marketing director, I felt an instant connection. She patiently answered all my questions and addressed my concerns about finding the right place for my mother, who has Frontotemporal dementia. A few hours later, I was touring the facility, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Shar, Paris (the director), and Katie (the activities coordinator) exude heartfelt warmth and professionalism. Their interactions with each other and the residents create a true family-like atmosphere. I was nervous about finding the perfect place, but their genuine care, kindness, and attentiveness put me at ease. They are not only professional but also down-to-earth, great listeners, and truly invested in the well-being of their residents. The following weekend, I brought both of my parents for a tour. My mother, who struggles with engagement due to her condition, loved watching the lively Bingo game organized by Katie. It was clear she thrived in the stimulating, welcoming environment. Shar led an engaging and delightful tour, her humor and passion for her work shining through. Katie’s adorable energy and dedication to keeping residents entertained and engaged were equally impressive. The facility itself is immaculate”no chemical smells, no urine odors, just a clean and inviting space. The bathroom I used was spotless, and the homemade cookies were a huge hit with my parents! The chef-prepared meals sound amazing, and the overall atmosphere is warm and vibrant. When I asked my mother what she thought of the place, her response was, I loved it!”words that blew me away and confirmed this was the right choice. We’re starting with the 9-5 Day Care program to ease her into the routine, with plans to transition her to full-time residency. I am beyond grateful to Shar, Paris, and Katie for their hard work and passion. Their dedication shines through in everything they do, making Serenades a truly special place. Great job, ladies!

Amazing community with a wonderful memory care that is sectioned off into 3 different neighborhoods opening up to a gorgeous courtyard. Specialized programs such as Montessori mornings , Legacy boxes, specialized dining. If you are looking for a memory care this is a wonderful option. Posting this for my Mother: We were lucky to be part of the Serenades family for 2 years. Serenades was the second facility we looked at (of many) and nothing else compared. When we narrowed our selection down to a final two, we took my Husband to see both facilities. The Serenades staff (Director, Nurses, CNA's, and even the Chef) were warm and welcoming. During our tour of the facility we met a family member of one of the residents. She also had many wonderful things to say about the staff, facility and level of care her husband received. The facility is smaller than most, which I felt was beneficial to my husband. The ambiance is warm, cheerful and immaculately kept (much like a home). My Husband was well cared for and felt "at home" at Serenades. Everyone was friendly, caring and compassionate to us and to our entire family, who visited often. Sadly, my Husband passed about 2 months ago from complications of his Parkinson’s Disease. On behalf of myself and my family we want to thank everyone at Serenades for their kindness, compassion and love. God Bless you all. We are grateful. ’The Ruggiano Family

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was nothing but impressed with the Saranades! Looking for care for my father, I felt like this was the most impressive facility next to him being home. The director, Linda Mena, was amazing and answered all my questions and concerns about transitioning my father. Serenades Sonata at West Orange has been the BEST memory care facility for my mother. From the Directors to the Staff, you won't find more competent, compassionate and enthusiastic care. Additionally, Serenades coordinates with the best community support team, offering everything from complete medical care, to personal care, to activities. And also notable is that the facility is laid out in small communities that create a homey and manageable environment that facilitate residents' supervision. I'm so much more comfortable having Mom here at Serenades West Orange than I was at a previous facility. The staff at Serenades communicates well with me and I'm confident that Mom is receiving consistent, excellent care. Did I mention that my grandchildren are happy to visit their great grandma in the beautiful, playful garden with bubbling fountains... or that mom loves the food here? I highly recommend Serenades at West Orange without reservation.

My Mother has been in their care since 2016 and I couldn't be happier. The staff is not only well trained and take care of her needs but treat her with loving respect. The facility is lovely with a comfy "home" feeling. They have memory related activities all thru the day seven days a week. My husband and I can come see her any time day or night and the staff is always available to address any questions or concerns that we might have. The decision to entrust the care of a loved one to someone else is never a easy one but I feel beyond blessed to have found Serenades West Orange.
