I had the pleasure of staying in one of CC's well equipped guest rooms for 2 nights 7-14 and 7-15. I flew in from Akron Ohio to spend a few days celebrating my sister Jean Hall's 85th birthday. This lovely room was so convenient and even provided me with ample exercise back and forth to Jean's room. Your facilities at CC including my dining experience, were exceptional! As a long-time resident (in my 6th yr.), I can attest to the excellent food - well prepared and good variety, very attractive facility, apartments custom designed by residents, underground parking, friendly and helpful staff, highly rated Health Center on third floor (easily accessible by family and visitors), and friendly, helpful residents. It has become home for me, but I can still participate in outside activities and have a small pet should I desire. There are tax benefits, many movies, outside entertainers and two monthly speakers.

My mother has lived at Claridge Court since 2013 and it has been the perfect fit for her. Coming from another city she was immediately welcomed and felt right at home. The food is great, there are many things to do (great bridge games), the staff is outstanding and it is simply a great place to live. Where Claridge Court differentiates themselves from other communities, is the skilled nursing center. If you need permanent care, or just a few days to recover before returning to your apartment, it is always available. So happy she made the decision to move!

My wife and I moved to Claridge Court in 2016. This is a wonderful community and small enough so we virtually all know each other. We are close enough to walk to CVS and other shops nearby. The staff is amazing and know every resident by name. The food is great and every day's menu is flexible offers many choices and alternatives. We have just about every activity you can imagine including a wide offering of exercise classes, movies and card games. Our Health Center is one of the best so there's no need to move anywhere else for medical reasons. Moving here was one of the best things we could do for our children. They know we are safe, secure, well taken care of and happy. We don't even change our own light bulbs. Maintenance takes care of ALL our needs with a smile. Jean and Chuck White

Moving to Claridge Court in October 2019 was one of our best decisions. Claridge is not an apartment complex. It is an active community with interesting and caring residents and experienced staff. We don't wear name tags because we reach out to know each other. There are only 125 residences, 45 health center rooms, and all of the public areas have been recently redecorated. Many activities are available to meet their various interests and needs of everyone. We like the fact that we can choose to go the the dining room or have food delivered to our rooms…especially during football season!…Claridge court is a lovely, safe, comfortable living opportunity. We, Jack and Liz Kaufman, looked around the area for many years before choosing Claridge Court. The two things that appealed to us most were the small size, which enables all of us to know each other and care about and look after each other, and the location. Across the street are a pharmacy, a grocery store, banks, vet services, hardware store, restaurants, etc., and best of all the Corinth Library. We have been here almost 3 years and feel safe, blessed and busy with activities - if we want to be. We feel very well taken care of healthwise, foodwise and activitywise. If something happens and one of us needs to go up to the Health Center temporarily or permanently, we can still eat together and attend some programs and activities together, plus enjoy the company of our pets and friends in the building. Our daughter feels our being at CC is one of our greatest gifts to her.

Probably the best part of living at Claridge Court is the wonderful people that live here; some long time friends and many new friendships. There are numerous activities in which to participate,if you so desire. I like gardening,and there is a big flower and vegetable garden which we plant and harvest during the summer. I feel very lucky to be able to spend my senior years here.

My parents have enjoyed living at Claridge Court since 2019. I always hear wonderful things about the on-site activities, outings, fun food events and the caring and kind staff. While my father was a resident of the Health Center, the staff made sure not only my father was comfortable, but that my mother and I felt good about his care. Steve, my husband and I moved to Claridge Court in April of 2019. We are so thankful to be here with wonderful interesting and fun residents. Everyone including the the staff are friendly and kind. We are well cared for here. We love the size of the complex, everything is in one building. After moving here, Steve had surgery and spent several weeks in the health center which is so convenient. I was able to see him several times a day without having to leave the building. There are always plenty of activities; fitness classes in our wonderful fitness center, games outside and inside, book club, art classes, crafts, concerts, movies, trips around town and more. Our location is great, public library and Corinth Square shopping center across the street, convenient to restaurants, CVS, grocery store, banks and etc.

Claridge Court was a lifesaver for my husband, Gene, and me in March 2016. We had both completed rehabilitation in the Health Center when we were invited to look at an available apartment in Claridge Court Independent Living. Immediately we made the decision to buy it and soon after moved in. We were warmly welcomed by fellow residents. The ensuing years were immensely enjoyable with many events, outings, and fabulous dining experiences.The last seven months of Gene's life were spent in the Health Center. During that time the caring staff helped us celebrate two events in sweet and unforgettable ways: Gene's 94th birthday and our 70th wedding anniversary. Needless to say I love my home in Claridge Court.

We moved to Claridge Court about two years ago. We often say to each other (and to anyone else who is in the vicinity) that our move here was the best and most timely decision we have made. We are both physically and mentally active so we made the move while we could still enjoy all the activities and friendships available here. One of the greatest advantages of Claridge Court is the small size. We have made new friends. People were so welcoming when we moved in. We have enjoyed the activities and friendships and are looking forward to many more of both. The food is excellent, and the staff are wonderful! They knew our names within the first week. My mom was here for about 30 days for rehab. Overall the place was great. The food was so good. My brother said "it's like a cruise ship around here". Lots of activities and things going on. Most of the staff is positive and upbeat and you could tell they cared about the residents/patients.

My wife and I moved to Claridge Court about a year ago and our experience to date has been very favorable. Our expectations in almost every area have been exceeded. The staff are very well trained and accommodating, the food and service have been exceptional. The size of the facility is such that you can get to know almost all of the residents in a short period of time, and the location is very convenient to many services if needed.

Six years ago my husband and I made the decision to move to Claridge Court. We were impressed by the people we met, the location, the size, the dining facilities, and the various activities that were available. Research has shown how important it is for seniors to be in contact with others. There are many, many opportunities for interactions with residents and staff members at Claridge Court. The activities range from exercise classes, field trips, happy hours, concerts, spiritual events and intellectual pursuits. The list goes on and on. Claridge Court was the best decision for us.

Our late mother moved into the independent living section of Claridge Court, enjoying a very positive experience with well organized activities, films and speakers, work out classes, art classes and more. The dining room is lovely, and she enjoyed her meals there. Her apartment and the entire building and campus were always very well maintained. Claridge employees were helpful, professional and kind. As her health declined, our mother moved to the Health Center. Here, as she became more dependent on care, the ongoing kindness of Claridge staff - from aides to nursing staff, dining employees, activities and social work staff and more - was very evident. There are too many individuals to name, but we are ever grateful for their care and concern for our mother’s comfort. Communication between Claridge and our family was prompt and helpful, and any requests we made were attended to professionally. We highly recommend Claridge Court.

We faced a move from a 4000 sq foot home and an acre lot in Leawood, where we lived for 39 years. It was where we raised our children, supported pets, gardened, entertained friends, and hosted friends and family travelers. Memories galore! My wife, a Stephen minister, visiting shut ins, had seen many retirement and nursing home situations. For her only one choice presented, we were committed to moving to Claridge when the time came. It did come 7 years ago. Despite the hassle of downsizing, moving, getting rid of "stuff" we also got rid of taking care of the lawn, the house and many of the bills. We moved into a large apartment made new friends and renewed some old, entered new activities, maintained our old friends and contacts in the community. When we went on trips we closed the door and left confident that it would be safe. Through Covid, though social life was restricted, meals were delivered to apartments and communication helped. Through all the time we lived here the staff has been accommodating, friendly and competent. When my wife became disabled we had home health care and then when nursing home care was needed she moved to the Claridge Court Health Center for 22 months. I did not have to drive elsewhere daily to visit. As a physician and husband, I felt my wife's care in the Health Center was outstanding The health center staff's patience, kindness, competence and understanding shown to my wife was almost unbelievable. Though I was apprehensive about the move, our experience has been that it was one of best living choices we have made. My husband and I moved into Claridge Court about two years ago. We are very happy here. It is always difficult to leave one's home but what we love about Claridge is the size. With about 130 residents, one gets to know everyone. We have found the people to be very friendly and interesting. The food is very good and many activities are provided for those who wish to sign up.

After eight years of living at Claridge Court, I can emphatically say I love it. It is a small enough community I know every resident by name and feel they are my caring neighbors. Before moving here it got pretty lonely in my home alone, especially in the long winter months.Many of us love bridge, gin rummy, Mahjong, Magic Train and other games to entertain us. We have outside entertainers come in frequently.There is a fabulous fitness center and exercise is constantly encouraged with games, contests etc. This is probably the reason many of us are living extra years. I havent personally experienced the Health Center but reports from those who have are glowing. We can go there to recuperate from surgeries and hospital stays. Physical therapy can be done there, or, in some cases, in our apartments.The food is fantastic (!). I have especially enjoyed some of the new vegetarian dishes that have been introduced recently but can still fall back on the filet or fried chicken we all love. Jane Burns

My wife and I have enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at Claridge Court. We marveled that the staff all knew our names within a few days, and many of the other residents did as well.We didnt expect to be here! I was on the Board of another excellent local community for ten years and always expected to live there when the time was right. For several reasons, that didnt work out, and now we are delighted we decided instead on Claridge Court.Our meal service is excellent and the hours are convenient. The apartments are quiet and comfortable. The exercise classes and equipment are good, plentiful and available to all. Other things we like are the friendly atmosphere and Friday hor doeuvres in the Pub, library in-house and across the street, movies on weekends, and transportation to local restaurants with our chef.The obvious conclusion: We highly recommend Claridge Court!

Fine dining! Had a superb dinner Friday night with my family in the Grill. I had the Ahi Poke Bowl (Sesame crusted tuna, sushi rice, fresh vegetables, sriracha aioli) and it was as good as any restaurant. Outstanding dish!

My mother has lived at Claridge Court for years and had nothing but the best care. She had a beautiful luxury apartment, complete with gourmet meals and fun activities (only if she wanted them), but also incredible help when she needed a little extra. It enabled her to live an independent life knowing someone was keeping an eye on her only when she needed it but without being intrusive. The attitude of the staff is wonderful. I used to stay with her when I came from out of town and it felt like being in a 5 star hotel.She has now moved to the health center on the top floor. One of the best reasons to live here is that if a resident needs rehab for a temporary issue, or a permanent one, they can go upstairs to the health center and receive superior care in the same facility they have come to call home. Claridge Court has had one of the best reputations for decades. I wouldnt want my mother anywhere else.
