I moved to Arbor Terrace, feeling blue after the lingering death of my husband followed by a year of covid isolation. I expected little: a pleasant apartment, attractive grounds, and a grouchy, lonely existence. Instead, while life isn't perfect, I somehow find myself with a new lifestyle: daily exercise, friends, screenings of opera delights and movies, museum trips. The staff is kind. The price is reasonable. And life still (to my surprise) has something to offer.

All staff is excellent, they always respond with care. Shirley is amazing, she has helped us acclimate to the community and through our residency here. My husband and I are very pleased being residents here at Arbor Terrace in Teaneck, we find all the services we need. I have lived here for 5 months. The residents and staff have been very welcoming and friendly to me and my dog. I am enjoying social dinners and lots of activities with new friends. I have a lovely private apartment and also a place to go to be with people that has a library and a fireplace. It feels like I have moved to a small town that has a strong sense of community. It feels like home. Now that I have been here 4 years, I feel exactly the same as I did 4 years ago, now I truly feel at home.

The first thing that hit you when you walk in the front door is that undescribable "feeling" you don't get every place you walk into. It's the feeling of home. From the warm, greeting from Brittany at the front desk, to the buzzing of activity, off of every corner of the lobby, with pleasant, active seniors, moving about their day. There's always the best choice of activities going on. Thank you to Andrew and.Aja from the recreation department. In like every successful business model, you don't have to look far to find a great leader in Katie Pastor. She's been with this facility for 19 years, and she runs an outstanding team of compassionate professionals committed to making sure every day. Her residence are the most important thing. As a professional has been doing this for 30 years, this is an outstanding example of how it is done well. Senior living at its finest!

While being a resident at Arbor for the last 3 years I enjoy the convenience of having transportation to local shops, and outings to plays. Daily exercise at the community is my favorite. Happy hour and holiday parties are always a fun way to engage and socialize with neighbors. Staff is excellent and always willing to help.

I enjoy living at Arbor Terrace Teaneck, my apartment is very roomy and get plenty of sun light. The staff is always kind and very helpful. There is plenty of activities you can avail yourself to. Transportation is available to help us to medical appointments, shopping and other activities. Dining accommodates our needs and there are plenty different options. I made a lot of friends and enjoy living here.

As first impressions, walking into the Arbor Terrace, it is a pleasure to see friendly staff, smiling resident faces. I am a Geriatrician who visits my residents in the building. It is always a delight to deal with their friendly & helpful staff. The residents are happy & enjoying different activities. Just yesterday one of my new residents was talking about wanting to start teaching a new class with the help of the facility staff. This truly provides meaning in the lives of our elderly. Amazing!

In August of 2022, my sister was diagnosed with cancer. The symptoms of her illness made it clear that she could no longer manage living by herself in her multi-level house. After more than 60 years she was reluctant to be torn away from her community where she found much emotional support. Yet, she needed a new home that provided a safe environment and that relieved her of chores that she no longer could do. Arbor Terrace checked all the boxes for us. She was able to rent an apartment in a complex that provided two meals a day and rides to her medical appointments. Yet, it was close to her old hometown. She loved her new apartment and was proud to show it and the facilities at Arbor Terrace to the friends and relatives that visited. She raved about the warm and caring staff. She felt accepted immediately and was enthusiastic about the new friends she was making. The prospects of a new life at Arbor Terrace excited her. Unfortunately, her disease brought this new phase of her life to an end much too soon. Friends and family mourn her passing but take some solace from the joy she found from her brief stay at Arbor Terrace.

Arbor Terrace is a wonderful community. It is very unique because it is only Independent Living! Each condo apartment has a full kitchen and washer and dryer! The staff goes out of their way every opportunity they have. It is a wonderful place to call home!

Arbor Terrace Independent Senior Living facility is an attractive place to live if you need help caring for yourself and the amenities are plentiful as well as the entertainment. I would have no problem recommending Arbor Terrace to others. I have been here for a year and will be moving soon, but will miss everyone here.

The Staff are considerate and attentive and consistently provide outstanding care and concern for all residents. When I made the decision to move to be near my children, great grandchildren and great grandson I thought I will never find an apartment as beautiful as my condominium in Cherry Hill New Jersey. At Arbor Terrace my apartment is very light and bright and surrounded by a nature preserve, when I lookout of my large windows I see trees and wild life. I also appreciate my own washer and dryer. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Instead of worrying about meal, cleaning and shopping I take part in all the programs that are offered. We are fortunate to be so near to NY City's museums and concerts. The Arbor van drops us off at the venues with door to door service, they also provide transportation to medical appointments and shopping. How I wish that my husband was here to share this lifestyle with me.

A family member of mine is currently a resident at this location and she always raves about this place. From the food to the staff it's awesome. I've visited a few times and just say I'm impressed. Aja stood out to me. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was impressive, she is definitely a great asset to the company. Overall this location is 5 stars.

Arbor terrace teaneck is a very special Place. My dad moved in recently and there is nothing they will not do to make him happy. They have a warm, friendly staff who are incredibly caring people. He loves the meals and the apt is beautiful. He couldnt be happier! They are right on top of things if an issue arises. Do not hesitate to come to arbor terrace!!

My dad has been at Arbor Terrace a short time but everything has been wonderful. Mary Cabral, the Senior Care Counselor has been especially accommodating, We just had the movers they recommended move the remaining items into the apartment and it went so smoothly.
