The Belcaro offers a complete package of senior living and care services. Our residents are independent seniors who need a little help sometimes. Located just a few miles hospitals, physicians, and local attractions in Colorado Springs. The seniors at our community are close to food, shopping, and activities. The advantages to living here are mostly cosmetic. The Belcaro is the nicest-looking geezer warehouse in a rapidly deteriorating neighborhood. The current manager is somewhat competent at renting rooms, but has virtually no talent for personnel management (hiring / firing five housekeepers in 10 months) or operational planning: Ten months ago, the building's master control system set off the fire alarms, then shut itself down. Apparently, not all of the resets were completed or checked, because the utilities have been operating independent of human control since then. Examples: "Ghosts in The Machine" have been responsible for setting off sprinklers at 1 AM in March to rinse the frost off the lawn; as well as running the heat and air conditioning simultaneously in adjacent sections of the same hallway all winter. The 100+ mostly fixed-income residents pay monthly for repeated (failed) efforts to catch the ghosts. The manager also lacks the patience and empathy needed to deal with elderly people with problems, and is unlikely to grow into the job; so she has shrunk it to fit her: What's most convenient for the manager is officially what's best for everyone else. Documents too often contain easily corrected errors; and she is unconcerned and (so far) unaccountable for what her mistakes cost others. She breaks her word as easily as she gives it, and proudly carries on the Belcaro management tradition of ignoring residents' federal- and state-guaranteed disability rights and medical privacy whenever personally convenient. The dog situation is unhealthy here, too; so, if you have one, live somewhere else...

We looked at several places before deciding on the Belcaro. One of the best moves we made since coming to Colorado. The management and maintenance team are great. They work to make your stay comfortable and safe. The building and apartments are clean and well kept. The privet park and pavilion next to the residence is a bonus feature. Lots of activities to choose from. We've been here and plan to stay.

Bill is a great manager. For one he is available almost all the time, you can sit on the office, explain any concerned to him and he is always there to try to help with any situation, for all those past administrator that had been throughout this apartments. Bill and Tony had make the big difference and the best for this community. Thanks

My Mom has lived there for almost 2 years now, and really enjoys it. Bill and the staff do a great job taking care of the residents, including timely repairs, activities and community events. Definitely recommend!!!

Bill has been a delight to work with for my mom becoming a resident there. He has gone above and beyond in meeting out needs with setting up residency in a timely manner and was so honest during the showing. It truly painted a picture of what it was like to live there and we are happy it is out final choice after seeing three selections.

I have lived at Belcaro since November of 22 and have had a few managers. Bill Morris (our current manager ) always goes above and beyond for his residents. I have been a resident for the past 4 years. Since Mr Bill Morris (Manager) since August 2023 took over. He has been an uplift to all of the residents here. His devotion,concerns and professionalism is stunning. Activities he plans and includes the Residence are phenomenal. Now it has become a peaceful and happy environment. I would recommend anyone looking for a senior residence to come Here. New Years event was fantastic. Happy New Year to all. Come and be part of this amazing and family environment.

I am happy to say that I attended this year's Christmas party held here in the community room of Belcaro. This event was orchestrated by Bill Morris, the Belcaro manager, and it was a great event, a lot of food and a friendly atmosphere. I watched how Bill walked from table to table greeting everyone and making sure everybody had what they wanted and needed, and he also had some great entertainment. This included a karaoke session and there was a lot of participation from the residence. Everybody had a great time, not only was the entertainment good but the food was great and there was a lot of love in this party. Again Bill Morris put on a great party for everybody and I was happy to attend. I myself am a new resident, and was welcomed by Bill Morris. I look forward to many other events put on by Bill, And again, I'm happy to be a new resident here.

We appreciate the amazing newest manager, Bill and Brittany in the office. Love Bills dogs, they are just as friendly and approachable as he is. We have been here less than a year and been through three different managers. The best thing is we have met many great people and the place is pet friendly. I give Belcaro 5 stars for the people that live here and for our new maintenance man, the new cleaning crew, the new office staff! The place has amazing views and a private walking park with a picnic area and a dog park. Love it here!

Bill the manager is one of the kindest hearted people I have ever met. He goes out of his way and bends over backwards to make sure you are comfortable. The apartment is clean and well maintained. It is also very affordable. I am looking forward to spending many years at the Belcaro apartment. Did I mention what a wonderful manager Bill was? He is truly a blessing.

I have lived here for ten years now and really enjoy living at this facility. They have lots of games that they play with residents. I like the manager bill and his 2 bulldogs. They are friendly and sweet period. They are no harm to anyone because they would not hurt a fly.

My mother moved to Belcaro 9 years ago from her home in Illinois of 56 years. She moved to Colorado Springs to be near her daughter. She lived on 2nd floor in a 2 BR unit. She absolutely loved living at Belcaro, her neighbors and the amenities it offered. Over the years she met so many other seniors who had also moved here to be closer to family. Loved Friday game night. Played hand and foot for over 8 years in the community room with so many dear friends. She was even with a Monday night group that played Euchre taking turns in each others apartment. She enjoyed taking part in the Sunday afternoon church services held each week in the community room. Holiday community dinners were also a highlight. The staff was always courteous, friendly and helpful with any needs for her and the apartment. One thing I would recommend to the staff and corporate is that at each year lease signing that a courtesy carpet cleaning would be offered! Seniors can't afford to have an outside company come in. Again, our family highly recommends Belcaro for anyone over 55.

Our 1 1/2 yrs. living at Belcaro 55+ has been great! Our manager, Bill and leasing agent, Brittany are fairly new here, but they have leaned over backwards to learn about the residents and our building. They are very accessible, and do all they can to accommodate requests, or get information. They even fill in on tasks that need doing when our maintenance and housekeeping staff have been ill or have been behind during the time there is an open position. They have also been able to jump in and make our activities happen as scheduled. Bill's super friendly dogs in his office seem like our very own Support dogs. Residents love to stop by and pet them. Anyone looking for a great place to live should come check us out.

We had the pleasure of being guided by Bill, during our recent tour for our client. Bill's exceptional dedication and knowledge shone through as he went above and beyond to provide us with an insightful tour and patiently answered all our questions. He even gave us information we didn't even know to ask. His expertise made the experience extremely helpful, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Thanks to Bill, we left with a clear understanding and confidence in our client's retirement choices. Highly recommend him! The apartments are affordable, are for independent retirement living and the community has a full calendar of events. If you decide on The Belcaro, Bill will definitely take care of you.

After experiencing some management upheaval at the Belcaro , Bill was brought in to take over. (I have been here for 6 months and he is the third General Manager, in addition to three leasing managers.) He is very pleasant and professional, never hesitating to listen to the tenants' needs and always striving to completely satisfy them. Additionally, Bill has two dogs which add to the ambiance of the operation. I had dogs when my children were being raise and I miss that lifestyle as I am sure do others. With the addition of Brittany to the team and redirecting the other team member's efforts to the tasks at hand, things should continue to improve. My only concern is that Bill may not receive the autonomy and adequate financial support from those in the C-Suite (People "in charge of being in charge"...) to bring the Belcaro back to the condition and style of living reflected the ever-evolving rent fees.

I love living here everyone is so kind and caring or they keep to themselves no hassles living here and I love the picture of Audrey Hepburn in the elevator what a great actress she was and pretty one at that. The 2 ducks out back seem to always be together and a very peaceful place for a walk or just to sit and think.

Pretty easy to navigate, essential for senior citizens! Front desk staff had extensive knowledge of their residents! Seemed neat, clean, and im assuming the residents are well cared for though im not certain.

I absolutely love living at Belcaro. My apartment is perfect, exactly what I need. My neighbors are friendly, very welcoming. I feel safe and comfortable. I really cant think of any place where I would rather be. Management is always available and any questions are quickly answered, any problems taken care of right away.
