My dad has been here for 10 months and I'm so grateful for this place. We were brand new taking over his care after he lived independently for 40 years right up until he broke his hip and jumped head first into Dementia. We toured 9 places. Lark Springs stood out because it was the only dedicated memory care facility... and it has 60 beds. You furnish the room (they have private and semi-private). They made his transition super smooth and have been transparent about their history and how they've changed so much in recent times (for the better). They helped us understand so much about the disease and my dad. They hold monthly support group too. They care! My dad can call us anytime and caregivers will call us if there is an issue or if they notice anything odd about him. If I could go back and choose again, Lark Springs would be my choice again. Highly recommend at least talking to them.

Many people intend to stay in their own homes, my father included. When the time comes where it's simply no longer safe for them at home, the family has a lot of considerations to take into account, primarily to ensure they are safe, secure, and well taken care of. I'm grateful for the kindness, care, and love that the staff at Lark Springs showed my father. Nancy and her staff knows everyone by name and treats everyone like family. My father was allowed to be himself and everyone at Lark Springs showed him much care and love.

It was time. My mom is in memory care here x3 weeks, and settling in well. There seem to be some people who are present and carewhat more could I ask for?

Lark Springs took excellent care of my mother during her last couple months with us. They truly went above and beyond what would be expected, especially in helping us get my mom approved, situated, and comfortable in their facility. I was told the current owner took this place on as a project to turn a facility with poor ratings into the best in Colorado Springs, and I believe she was successful in her ambitions. The facility is clean and beautiful. There are always a couple adorable bunnies running around in the gorgeous courtyard. They allowed us to fully decorate my mom’s room any way we pleased. The staff were all very friendly, patient, and dedicated to doing their job well. As much as I hate my mom having to move out of her house, I can’t imagine a place that would help us feel more at home. I believe the people at Lark Springs are doing God’s work in helping the elderly.

In my professional capacity, I visit MANY facilities. Lark Springs being one I visit frequently. I was shocked to see the poor rating here. This facility is adorable. When you walk in it feels like a little home for its residents. Every single caregiver, nurse and administrator at this facility truly cares deeply for its residents and it shows. If you’re looking for a safe, sweet and compassionate home for your loved one, I highly recommend considering Lark Springs.

Lark Springs is right for us. I’ve toured many memory care facilities in town and chose it based on my loved one’s primary needs; expansive indoor/outdoor walk ability, right-sized privacy accommodations with spa-like showering (vs cramped traditional room showers/baths), and caring staff! Food is devoured and the place is bright and well maintained. We’re with them every day. A current sense of community, continuous improvement and love abides.

Such a nice community with caring staff. The renovation that happened a couple years ago modernized and added the touches to enhance the lives of the residents who stay there. The outside space is unmatchable in the area. Safe, clean, well managed.

Lark Springs has been a perfect fit for my brother who suffers with dementia. I appreciate that he is safe and well cared for. The office staff is great and the health caregivers go above and beyond in caring for him.

Caregivers and nurses are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and well kept. Food is good and nutritional. Would recommend this place.

My brother moved to Lark Springs in mid-July. Although there are no words to adequately describe what a blessing this move has been, I would like to share my thoughts. He was diagnosed with dementia some time ago and could no longer live independently. We (his family and a wonderful team of caring Penrose case workers) spent several months trying to find proper placement for him. When an opening became available, we jumped at it, with little time to investigate or check references. Lark Springs has been the perfect fit for my brother. The staff is kind, caring, compassionate, and obviously well-trained in the special needs of folks with dementia, memory loss, and Alzheimers. The building and grounds are well-maintained, safe, secure, and always spotlessly clean. The outdoor areas are especially beautiful. My brother has been a vegetarian for more than thirty years and the staff willingly provided him with good, nutritious, appealing vegetarian meals. But everything looked and smelled so good, he began eating meat again and is physically healthier than he has been in years. Activities, programs, outings, and entertainment are constantly offered and well-attended by the residents. Although Lark Springs does not accept Medicaid, it is affiliated with (or participates in) the Rocky Mountain PACE program which made it a most affordable option and removed the obligation for us to find medical providers and transportation to and from appointments. After years of worry, we, the family, rest easier now knowing he is safe, secure, comfortable, and happy. Thank you to the Lark Springs Staff and Management!
