Five stars to Elm Park Estates!! I would give it more if I could. We were looking for a place for my mom where she could live independently yet have a little more support. I put in a call to Elm Park Estates and Blake called me back immediately. We set up a tour and fell instantly in love. The apartments were quiet, clean, and a good size. We stayed for dinner and the food was great. Blake was a very impressive team member and answered every question we had. He asked my mom what her budget was and he was able to secure a room for her that she could afford. Within two weeks, we had my mom moved in. Blake continues to check on her and makes sure she has what she needs. She is really enjoying not having to cook and there are always choices on the menu that she likes. My siblings and I feel she deserves to be waited on after waiting on all of us and our dad for most of her life. She has also enjoyed the activities and the ability to socialize daily. All of the staff members have been incredibly kind and helpful to my mom. She feels like they are already like family. This gives all of us "Peace of mind." We finally found a great place that our mom can call home.

I signed up to make Elm Park Estates my new home the end of April. I moved in May 12th into a one-bedroom apartment. I love living here. I have made new friends, I participate in the many activities they offer, the food is very good and I am very particular about food. The staff is very friendly and very helpful when I have questions. We have 3 meals a day, a bus to take us to Walmart, Kroger or some other places and the bus will take me to doctor appointments. I am happy I made the decision to move here and sell my 3-story townhouse getting rid of many steps. I invite you to move to Elm Park Estates make this your new home too!!!

I have been looking for an independent living facility for my sister and we have decided on Elm Park Estates. They have remodeled the place and it looks great. The staff including Blake, Ginger and the activities director have been so helpful. They were so accommodating with everything we needed and have answered all of our questions promptly. This facility which is in a great location across from Tanglewood Mall and is very reasonably priced. I know my sister will have a great experience there. Joe

Elm Park Estates is a fantastic independent living community! Angela, the activities director, keeps everyone engaged and excited with her fun and creative events. Blake, the sales manager, makes the move-in process smooth and stress-free. Ginger, the general manager, ensures everything runs like clockwork with her exceptional leadership. Highly recommend!

We recently moved to Elm Park Estates. We live it here. The management and staff work hard to make life easier for the residents and they succeed! Ginger, Liz, Maggie, Blake are all top notch representatives of Holiday Retirement., they are truly 5 Star employees. Their knowledge, commitment, compassion shines through. There is a big difference between just being alive, and really living. I am really "living at Holiday By Atria Elm Park in Roanoke Virginia". I tell friends that this facility is like an "old time British residential hotel". But it is more than that. It's the people! It takes a village! Our village is led by our General Manager, Ginger Clark. She always has time to speak with us, answer questions, grant a request, or solve a problem. She keeps things running like clock work. Then there is Elizabeth Overstreet, our steadfast Assistant General Manager. She leads the waitstaff and housekeepers, all of which are efficient and caring people. Maggie Bamber is Elm Parks Office Manager. She has gained this position by coming up through the ranks. Her experience helped us weather a storm or two, and we are grateful. Angela Race is our Engage Life Coordinator. She is in charge of the "fun stuff", and that's what makes Elm Park a place of "real living!". We like choices in activities. We recently added Executive Chef, Michael Bamber. His training and experience has helped make our meals a joy and something to look forward to. Together, our village cared for us during our recent renovations! They continue to support us through personal trials and challenges. They cook and clean for us. AND THEY CHANGE MY BED! Something I find increasingly difficult. Other than meals or riding our bus to the store or Doctor, "fun stuff" is what we do best. Folks here love to play; several card games, such as bridge; puzzles; trivia; bean bag toss, frequent players are a 98 year old and his wife who's 96! Bingo, our favorite winner is 101 year's old! I am 81 and I thought I would be the "elder" not! The activity I chose is gardening, my hobby. Ginger has encouraged me and, together, we developed garden spots, shared plants with residents, and offered house plant instructions. Folks here really enjoy the planted walking paths, patio and bird baths!

I inquired about my mother moving into the community. The sales manager and GM could not have been more accommodating. The newly renovated spaces are so modern and sleek. The location is perfect since it's across from the mall and convenient to everything. My mom is definitely considering this community as she is fully independent and looking for her forever home!

Just moved into Elm Park Estates, 3 weeks ago. My wife and I live it! The Manager and her staff are all 5 Star representatives of what Holiday Retirement. The professionalism, caring attitude and open communication is wonderful. The meals are tasty and filling.

This retirement community is a beautiful place with a caring and helpful staff. My mother was there in 2018 and she passed 3 months later. Now, I have an elderly gentleman that loves Elm Park Estates and all of the staff and residents there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has a family member that would benefit from a retirement community. The residents create a family bond amongst each other and look out for each other. So sweet

Fantastic place !! Beautiful place. Happy residents and wonderfully friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately unaffordable for anyone who has not had a couple expensive homes they sold and have a large bank account. I had neither so left very disheartened. If this country cared for all seniors like they should we could all live in such a beautiful place.

My husband and I were overall happy with Elm Park; however, we are still independent and would appreciate the usage of a stove in our apartment. I do enjoy baking and and cooking. I realize that the age of your tenants may be greater than or less responsible than us, but it something that we would really have to get use to. Thanks so much!!

We enjoyed our tour of Elm Park Estates. Jessica was AMAZING! She asked my Mother great questions to get to know her personally which made my Mother comfortable right from the beginning. Its never easy talking to a parent about Senior care living and which steps to take. Thats why we chose to tour and ended up renting at Elm Park Estates. It was just as much because of the staff as it was the beautiful building and amenities. Mother is really looking forward to moving in, and all of her daughters are looking forward to knowing she will be in a safe environment!
