My family has had a wonderful experience with South High Senior Assisted Living. The staff truly cares for the residents as if they were members of their own family. You can tell that everything they do is focused on the residents and their well-being, not just running a business. My dad genuinely enjoys his time there and has built great relationships. From the moment you walk through the doors, the community feels warm, welcoming, and homey rather than institutional. The improvement in my dad's health and overall happiness over the past year has been incredible, and we are so grateful for the compassionate care he receives every day. The shortage of staff, hinders the care received. I am Not impressed.

Now that my dad has died. Some staff that was there was great. They didn't try to sneak his meds in pudding or drink. He pushed a nurse older nurse. Got sent out was gone for over a month then told us he couldn't come back. Stole over 10,000 bucks from us since he lived there not even a month Move in fees. First month first week paid. Sent another check he was already out. They could have been honest but nope . Lied Do as you wish. Beware they don't know how to handle dementia patients. If they did they know not to approach from behind. Replying to said owner Paper trail is proof enough. I have my rating where it is for that reason. It's wild you say that never happens to someone. Basically calling the person a lier. I pay a months rent he not there you sent him off to parkwest. He was at park west almost a month. He turns to get released and in turn u all say he can't come back. Not once tell me before making that payment just come get his stuff. Don't pay this months rent would have been nicer. And as a family we wouldn't be out money. Paper trail. And everything even medical papers have been processed through a court system on my father. So it exists Have a blessed day

With my heartfelt gratitude, I highly recommend South High Senior Living. They cared for my 94yo mother in memory care, for her last 5 months. The facility is always clean, has very good food, and takes really good care of its residents. While living there, mom presented with a variety of challenges. The staff, every one of them, was supportive, respectful, and loving. They were dedicated and creative with ways to help reduce mom's fears. When hospice services were brought in, all caregivers coordinated to keep mom comfortable.

I am so grateful for South High Senior Living. My mom moved here 8 months ago. She moved here from Kentucky.The decision to move to assisted living was sudden and we have had to navigate a lot of life changes and the staff at South High have made this pleasurable for both of us. I am not responsible for her daily caregiving and we can have quality time together. I visit frequently and have made friends with the residents and staff. They have made my mom and I feel at home and part of a community of kindness and care. April and Megan are wonderful activities directors and mom looks at the schedule often to see what fun activity is next. I truly feel the people that work there truly love what they do. They go all out for special occasions . The staff is always happy to help in any way and we are so happy to call South High Senior living HOME

The captain of a ship is very important because everything trickles down from the top. Executive Director Marshall truly cares. He is a great human and empathetic listener. I have so much respect for him. Resident Care Director Stephanie jumps through hoops for me. She even drove to our rehab for an evaluation after completing an all night shift. Always pleasant. Anytime I have a question or request, Stephanie replies immediately, all day and all night. She also truly cares. Business Office Director Courtney is always on top of her game regarding the long term care insurance company. Then, the aides..oh, the aides. I cannot say enough about Ann, Raquel and Aracelya. Caring, patient, and compassionate. If you’re looking for a place for your loved oneI highly recommend.

Marchell is an exceptional ED who genuinely cares about the residents and ensures they are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Courtney is always willing to answer any questions and does so with kindness and a welcoming attitude, which truly makes a difference for both residents and families. The activities program has been wonderful lately. There is always something fun, engaging, and creative happening, and it’s clear how much thought and effort goes into making sure residents stay active, involved, and happy. From hands-on crafts to interactive games and special events, the activities bring so much joy and excitement, and I truly enjoy seeing the posts that capture these meaningful moments. April is always smiling and brings such positive energy to the community, and Megan is incredibly sweet and caring with the residents. Overall, South High is a very professional, warm, and welcoming community. I would confidently recommend South High to anyone I meet.

Overall, this facility is compassionate and caring. There have been some concerns and they were addressed immediately. I wish all customer service was like this! So many activities and special treats. Residents do not get bored - check out their Facebook Page!

A Welcoming and Caring Home After extensive searching, we chose South Senior Assisted Living for my father, and it has been a wonderful experience. From the very first tour to our many visits since, the staff and environment have always gone above and beyond. This facility is more than just a place to live; it truly feels like a family environment. As for the staff all I can say is WOW everyone there is amazing and always ready to drop what they are doing to help, not just my dad but any other tenant staying there as well as visitors. I could go on about everyone working there but I would need a list of everyone that works there. But I would like to say a very big Thank You to Stephani and Lynn, these ladies are nothing but amazing. The facility itself is always immaculate and feels very comfortable and homey. The common areas are bright and inviting, and there are many cozy spots for residents and their families to spend time together. We especially appreciate the variety of amenities available, which includes beautiful outdoor spaces where residents can enjoy the fresh air. Beyond the care, one of the biggest benefits has been the social life. South Senior Assisted Living offers a great schedule of activities that keeps residents engaged and happy. My has made so many friends, which made a huge difference in his overall happiness. As you may have picked up on, my dad has since passed, but the entire team at South Senior Assisted Living made the last year and a half mazing. And I and my sister love everyone there from the tenants to the entire staff. Words can never say Thank You enough. If you have a loved one closing in on needing additional care and help, this would be my recommendation as a first call and tour of the facility and you may find you have found them a home as well. My family recently came for a visit to see if it would be a good fit for my mother in law. IT WAS! The place is beautiful & everyone was very friendly. Well maintained and decorated beautifully. Lots of history there as well. I love the idea of taking something that was used for one purpose in the past and now another for the future. I wish more people would do this. Lynn was a pleasure to work with. She gave us a very informative tour and you can tell she loves the residents and her job. Very sweet lady. Thank you & God bless . D. Wolfe.

The leadership staff is amazing! Every director in each department is dedicated to their work and ensures each resident is provided the highest quality care. All of the staff are very friendly and work together well. There are so many activities for the residents to participate in every day, including arts and crafts, performing artists, bible studies and plenty of outings! The dedication and compassion of each staff member truly shows.

The Staff is so amazing...Everyone from The top to the bottom has been nothing but helpful in making the residents of this community feel Loved and Cared for. This is an amazing place for your loved ones,to be cared for. I do have some concerns about cars and SUV's that park and meet w/ others on the Tipton side. Is there any security keeping an eye on the place? The Tipton side looks empty most of the time and it makes me ”,how many people are watching them at night and the grounds for that matter?

Changes are hard for everyone, especially transitioning from independent living to living with assistance. When looking for the perfect place for our Nana, it was hard to find a place that could meet all of her needs and expectations as well as ours. We are so blessed to have found South High Senior Living! The experience starts the minute you walk in the first door. It feels nothing like any assisted living home I have ever been in. It's the sensation of walking into a world of pampering, like a luxurious hotel but with the feeling of home. The staff is amazing, from the sweet smiles at the front desk, to the night ninjas who do laundry every night. The amazing cooking staff make the dining experience so great that Nana wants to eat there instead of going out! What makes it extra special is that the days are filled from morning to evening with activities by Ms. Tina! They can pick and choose what to do but everyone is included and made to feel special and loved. The environment is beautiful, and the rooms are gorgeous, and Nana feels at peace. She told us last week for the first time she doesn't have a worry in the world! As a family, I can say we also feel that our worries are gone. We all feel good knowing she is in great hands with a staff who love and treat her like family. Thank you to our new South High family for taking care of us and making us feel right at home!

Our family toured more than 8 assisted living facilities in Knoxville. We rated South High one of the best. South High is close to her friends and family members and feels like a 5-star hotel. All the staff members are kind, knowledgeable, responsive, communicate well with our family. They're attentive to the residents, as needed (some require more assistance - others not as much). The food is great and the dining experience feels much like a restaurant. With a little notice, family & friends can join a resident for any meal. We have visited at all hours of the day and night (and were encouraged to visit anytime) and we're confident she is in safe place. It's a newer facility and always super-clean. Amenities include housekeeping, laundry service, and daily activities (both inside and outside, to include movie nights, ice cream, shopping trips, and more). I would highly recommend South High to anyone looking for a safe long-term solution.

My loved one has been at South High for almost a year. In that time, she has been well taken care of by the caregivers. The staff is attentive to her needs and they always address any concerns I may have. The food is very good and there’s always activities my mother looks forward to.

We were impressed from the first step inside. I was relieved to see a locking controlled foyer with immediate access to the concierge. The interior design is beautiful, reminding me of a 5 star hotel lobby. The high ceilings give all areas such wonderful lighting and space. The dining area and piano bar are spacious and charming, yet surprisingly cozy. Her room/apartment is spacious and ready to personalize with her furniture and treasures . All areas easily accessed by walker or wheelchair. The staff is friendly, helpful and competent. I highly recommend! P.s. she also loves all the activities.

I was once a resident at South High and they treated me terribly They separated me from a female resident. They laid hands on me and when I removed them, they called the cops. Nothing came of that.
