The most important and difficult thing I’ve ever done was to make a decision to move my husband of 64 years to a memory care facility! Sky Vista made the choice of where an easy decision. First impressions are impressive. The facilities are beautiful, clean and welcoming but even more impressive are the management and caregivers! They give me confidence that he is being treated with respect and safety that he needs to make it his home! I am especially impressed with Kelly Pearson , the manager of memory care. She is extremely knowledgeable as well as a tireless advocate for her patients and very supportive of their families! She takes the time to understand the patients needs and communicates them to the rightful person!

Few people have the privilege of seeing a loved one cared for by the very community they serve. As the Executive Director of Sky Vista, I feel especially grateful that my dear Mum, "Cuca," was able to call Sky Vista home. I am deeply touched by the compassion, kindness, and professionalism that each member of the Sky Vista team openly shared with Mum. What could have been a difficult decision for my family soon became a source of comfort and peace because we knew she was not only receiving exceptional care but was genuinely loved. That gift meant more to my family and me than words can express. My Mum passed away on July 5 and is now dancing in Heaven with my father. It brings us joy knowing that they have been reunited forever. While there is an immeasurable hole in my heart and I miss her every day, I will always carry Mum’s love with me. I also know how much Mum loved all of you. She felt welcomed, respected, and cherished, and she considered Sky Vista her home. Thank you for the countless acts of kindness you showed her each day, for the laughter you shared, and for the dignity and compassion with which you cared for her. Please know that your dedication brought comfort to my entire family. As both a son and an Executive Director, I have never been prouder to be part of this extraordinary team. Witnessing the care, you provided to someone I loved so deeply reminded me that what we do extends far beyond meeting needs; we touch lives, create lasting relationships, and provide families with immeasurable peace during life's most difficult moments. 7/16/26 My mom is 95 and has had live in care for a while now in Gold Canyon. Things change and it was time to find a new home for her. I can’t thank God enough for guiding me to Sky Vista. Her second night here now with me, her only daughter, I feel so comfortable leaving her in the care of this Amazing Staff in all departments, as a wean away this week. I’m a recently retired OCD kind of RN and feel blessed that my mom’s last days or years will be here! My original post to this page was 2 years ago when my mom moved into Sky Vista. Now fast forward 2 years and I could not be happier with her care and thoughtfulness of all the staff, from kitchen workers, servers, Care takers, med techs, front desk concierge, and office staff. The Nurse in charge, Alicia, is attentive and has been a great new addition this year. Mike Calderon, the Executive Director has made Sky Vista a special place for all the residents and is always easy to reach out to when questions or concerns arise. I am so happy I found Sky Vista for my mom at this point in my life, especially since if live in Florida, so far away!

Starting with a beautiful facility with nice amenities along with an extremely supportive and caring staff we have found that their assisted living and memory care services are wonderful. Our mother has been there for 6 months and we feel so fortunate she has the love and care we see every time we visit. Do yourself a favor and schedule a tour, you won't be disappointed !

I had the opportunity to visit Sky Vista family and residents to do a Luau with them. It was one of the best for the book with us. The residents were so fun and joy all over their faces. My Dad moved into the memory care at sky vista 2 weeks ago, but prior to that was on the geropsych unit at MVMC. Through out the whole process that took place over the holidays at the most inopportune and difficult time, the staff couldn’t have been more supportive with the transition and professional with their communication- especially Reese, Favi and Mike and Kelly. Everyone has been simply amazing with answering my questions and have been very patient during a difficult time. I couldn’t be more appreciative. My Dad is doing well and a huge part of that is because of the staff. They go above and beyond with their job which they don’t act like is a job, they treat each member there like family. Not one person hasn’t known my Dads name, what he likes, what works for him and all in just a short period of time. Heidi the activities director is just a gem, they better never let her go. I don’t know how she does it but she deserves a medal. All the care givers as well are amazing and Ariel is my Dads favorite. I am a nurse so it’s hard to let go, but with the staff and the facility I have been able to take a deep breath finally and know that when I am not there, my Dad is receiving top notch care. I simply can’t recommend this facility enough. After 4 months of my Dad being here, I’ve never been so thankful for making the correct decision as I am with this place. Genesis, Arielle, Daniel, mykeisha and so many others take such good care of my dad, and he’s very bad. His full care with pretty much everything and I never have a single complaint, I never worry that he is getting top-notch care. I will always be eternally grateful to these people.

As a hospice nurse, I rely heavily on the care and knowledge staff has of their residents in order to assist patients and their families through one of the most difficult stages of their lives. The staff at Sky Vista truly go above and beyond to get to know each resident, they are attentive to their needs, and really do care that their residents are getting the highest level of care. The managers Bella and Favi know who is in their care. The people who live at Sky Vista aren't just a room number to the management, they are people who each have their own unique needs. I haven't been to a facility where management knows not just a resident's name, but their families names, what their careers were, and so on. The staff have also been fantastic, some people who really stood out to me include Tiffany, Megan, Jennifer, Angela, Sky and Raquel. But even if I can't remember all the staff names, everyone truly cares, from the kitchen staff being the best source for a person's appetite to the activity coordinator to explain how a person's mobility and mental health has improved since being involved in the community. It has been such an honor to work along side the staff at this facility. Rest assured if your loved one needs more help than you can provide them at home, living at Sky Vista will ensure they are getting the highest level of care in the Phoenix area. I couldn't recommend Sky Vista enough!

**Updated on 8/21/2024 - I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sky Vista. From the moment my mom moved in, 8 months ago, we felt a sense of relief knowing she was in good hands. The staff here are incredibly caring and compassionate, always going the extra mile to ensure residents feel at home. The aides are knowledgeable and attentive, providing excellent care tailored to each resident's needs. As an example, I received a call from them recently stating that mom seemed "a little off" and they were concerned for her. Her vitals were normal but she just seemed off. I took her into her doctor that day and she had developed a small issue that could be quickly resolved. Had we waited it would have been much more serious. I am so grateful that they know her so well and for the great communication! One of the highlights for my mom has been the variety of fun and engaging activities offered daily at Sky Vista. There's always something exciting going on, whether it's a craft session, a game night, or a special event. These activities have brought so much joy to her days and have helped her form meaningful connections with other residents. The management team is top-notch, always approachable and responsive to any questions or concerns. They truly care about the well-being of the residents and work hard to maintain a positive, welcoming environment. Most importantly, my mom feels at home here. She is surrounded by people who love and care for her, and that peace of mind is priceless. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for her to thrive.

Two years ago my sister was moved into the Senior Facility at Sky Vista in Mesa. Of all the places that I visited, I found Sky Vista to be warm and welcoming. My sister had the beginning of dementia and was no longer able to live alone. She moved into a lovely studio in Assisted Living and seemed to adjust quite well until she felt the loss of her independence and needed to be moved into Memory Care in the same building. The staff had the challenge of calming her and helping her adjust to her new home. Due to her limited sight, being a fall risk and losing her coordination, my sister is getting the attention she needs daily from a very caring and attentive staff. I am at peace that my sister is safe and being cared for in the best possible way. Kudos to the staff!

My mom was in this facility until earlier this year. I can tell you they over charge. There are nearby facilities much cheaper. The front staff was good. Activities was very good. Caregivers did the best they could with what support they had. It ends there. The nurse was not good. She was caught in many lies and was not supportive of the staff. She was borderline abusive to the staff. Her boss mike lost his mind when I brought up my concerns about her being a liar and not supporting the staff. I think the activities is what made this place good but honestly look around. There is much better. Sorry if anyone moved in before I had a chance to write this it had been a busy year. My mom is now in a great facility and three residents from sky vista are there as well. If you move in sky vista get everything in writing when it comes to the nurse

My 92 yr old Grandma has lived here at Sky Vista since Sping and our family has been very impressed. As a granddaughter who lives in Utah we came to stay with her for a week as she was fighting an infection. We have a varied schedule of activities stimulate the mind and body which includes off site field trips. Transportation to/from doctor appointments is available. Restaurant style dining with menu choices for all tastes. The food quality is very good. Sky Vista has had new flooring installed and totally repainted in the last month. After two years in a previous memory care unit, we made the decision to move dad to the MC unit at Sky Vista. We understand it can be hard on ALZ patients to move them, however this move turned out to be a great decision! The staff was very attentive, and Dad settled in right away. We/he couldn't be happier with the great care he receives as well as all the activities offered at Sky Vista! We are truly impressed with the staff, especially Kelly who does a great job running the MC unit, and Heidi who facilitates the fun activities. As soon as you walk in the door at Sky Vista it has an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, and Angela at the front desk is so helpful and always greets us with a smile:)!

Sky Vista was such an extraordinary facility. I toured about 5 different assisted livings in the area and immediately knew this was the place. The whirlwind of a crazy period in my grandfathers life could have been absolute chaos with the transition into assisted living but every single staff member made it so simple and easy. We moved our parents in to Sky Vista almost two months ago. We had toured several locations and a few under the MBK brand and this location is by the far the best we found. Right from day one, we knew this was the place to be, close to home and all ground level along with a dedicated and caring staff. They have been awesome meeting our needs. We used the "respite" room at Sky Vista for my mother-in-law because we were going to be gone, and we were afraid something would happen while we were gone. Upon our return, she told us that she loved it and wanted to stay. She had been so lonely, missed meds, and became disinterested in mealtimes. Now, she's happy, and most importantly, safe. It's wonderful we found such a warm caring environment that happens to be so close to our home. And she's thrilled to have a caring staff, good meals, and activities to keep her engaged.

Moved my mom into Sky Vista after having problems with two previous memory care centers here in the valley, in which she actually lived. Those problems dealt with very expensive fees for a declining, and even a questionable, amount of care, as well as poor staffing. Two additional care centers we toured didn't even have the security or staffing to monitor their clients after they reach a need for memory care. Met with Kelly at Sky Vista and couldn't have been more impressed. The fee schedule was excellent, as was the staff and level of care. Kelly made mom more comfortable and happy than she had been for years in other assisted living homes. Their security was excellent and even the discerning members of my family were pleased. Highly recommend them. The facilities and staff are unmatched in our experience. Excellent staff and administrative personnel are not always guaranteed but Sky Vista seems to have found a solution to that problem.

When I recently inquired with Mariposa Point of Mesa, about possibly moving into their community, I received prompt and efficient response. They made the entire process very easy and made me feel confident in my decision. Everyone was extremely helpful and I immediately felt comfortable moving into their community. My mom has been living at this facility in the memory care section for 1-1/2 years. When I was looking for a facility, I wanted one that would provide the best possible environment for her. This facility (I prefer to call it a residence) was without a doubt the best one for her needs. They have areas where everyone can gather to eat, watch TV or participate in any one of the other activities. Outside entertainment is brought in on a regular basis (other than during COVID times). The staff is loving and the caregivers learned her likes and dislikes very early on in her stay. She continually tells us how happy she is. Isn't that what we all want! If your loved one can't be with you, they should be here!

I absolutely love this place. Such caring and kind staff. I work in the medical field and have been in many facilities. This one is definitely my favorite. We moved a very nice couple into this facility after living at home, it was time and they made the transition extremely easy and made them feel welcomed.
