Our interview and tour were both comforting and informative. Tara communicates compassion and care. These qualities seem innate a not performative; I think she truly has a calling to work with her residents, and Oak Pointe felt like a possible home and not a placement for my family member.

I called Oak Pointe of Kearney to talk to them about my mother. She is in need of a long-term care facility. Unfortunately, Oak Pointe is unable to provide the extensive care that my mother needs, however, Tara was so kind and took so much time to answer all of my many questions. If they were this helpful to a person that they couldn't care for, I would think that Oak Pointe would be exactly where I would want my loved one to live. Kindness, helpful, and totally professional. If you are looking for someone to care for a loved one, I would recommend that you call them.

Our Mom has been a resident since January. We love the family atmosphere.All staff members treat our Mom with respect and kindness. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well cared for. If you're looking for a place to treat you like family whether you're an employee or resident/family seeking a place to live, Oak Pointe of Kearney is the place to go! Of course every work place has their pro's and con's but everyone here is fast to jump in, especially at your time of need. Yesterday after I clocked out for the day, I went outside to find my SUV tire completely flat and not holding air. I didn't know what to do because I had no one to call, but instead of leaving me to figure it out all alone the Administrator (Jeff) and Maintenance (John) both jumped straight in, to help without even hesitating! Before that, Everyone even offered to give me a (40 minute) ride home! Even on your bad days, these people treat you none the less of Family, and to me that is what being a part of this Community is all about!

My Mother has been living here for about a little over six months, she used to live with my wife and I. She loves this place, better than living with us. She likes having her own place and enjoys the meals that they provide. She also enjoys the activities, especially the Bingo. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a safe place for their loved one and wants them treated like family. The staff will go the extra mile to make them feel comfortable. Oak Pointe is a great place. Staff is responsive to questions and helpful. We feel our loved one is in a safe and caring place. They have received the Clay County Health Department award for their sanitary food handling practices. We have no complaints and would recommend them.

My mom lived at Oak Pointe for 5 years. The care and meals provided were exceptional. The environment always felt warm and welcoming. I was told often by staff how much they loved my mom. My Mom enjoyed being at Oak Pointe. We both liked the personal care and friendship from all who are there. It was an especially difficult time for everyone as they dealt with COVID-19, but they did a great job keeping residents and staff safe. I give them all a big salute and thank you.

The staff at Oak Pointe-Kearney is outstanding. My mother has been there two months under circumstances less than favorable. The pandemic has restricted movement for residents. The first vaccine was administered January 6th and the second will be February 3rd. The staff at Oak Pointe has the welfare and best interests of their residents. This is of reassurance to family and friends.
