Westbrook independent living is very nice. I put my Mom there in April and the staff is always friendly and caring. They check on them if they don’t show up to lunch to see if they are ok. You couldn’t ask for more caring place to have your family member if they can’t be in their own home. Highly recommend Westbrook

The ownership and management/staff of Westbrook Care Center have been exceptional during the 18 months that my mother has been a resident. Professional, caring, responsive - this provides only a short list of the characteristics they have consistently demonstrated. The facility is conveniently located, clean, pleasant in all respects, and provides a safe, dependable environment for loved ones to reside independently or to receive higher levels of care if required.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The staff at Westbrook has treated my mother with respect, and shown an atmosphere of family. They keep me advised of her health, mental and emotional well being and share her accomplishments. The facility is clean and smells nice. I am always welcome there when visiting. The staff treats me as well as my mother with my peace of mind being important to them. If you're considering a location for you're loved one, this is it.

It was so hard to find a good assisted living community for my dad. But four years ago we found this little gem nestled in Kearney, Missouri. We moved him to Westbrook Care Center and everyone in our family, especially our dad, is so happy we did! Westbrook has an extraordinarily low turn over of staff (which says something right there, and wasn't true at the newer place he lived three years previously, where it seemed they didn't have any experience working with older people - it was so stressful for my dad and our family). Westbrook staff have been great at collaborating with us to ensure my dad's needs are always a top priority and make it a practice of going above and beyond what is expected on a regular basis. And probably the primary reason they are such a great place for seniors to live is because the owners also work on site and get to know, and truly care about residents and their families. I can't imagine a better place than Westbrook for my dad to live. And to make it an even better value, the cost is extremely competitive. I can't thank them enough for all they do each and every day to care of my dad and all the other people in their care and wish I could give them more than five stars!

My husband found Westbrook when we were looking for a place for my Aunt to stay. Steve and April were amazing to talk to they made us feel so welcome and they put my mind at ease knowing my aunt would be well taken care of. My aunt has met many new friends and she enjoys all the activities and the church services. Thank you so much for all you do. All the employees are so friendly and kind! Thanks again for all you do!

I was an employee for Westbrook Care Center for 5 years. I worked under Steve and Amy McDonald the owners/ Administration. I can Guarantee ?? percent that no where in Kansas City MO. Or within a 100 miles of K.C will you find a place with more Heart and the drive to see that the care received by their staff for your loved one is more than a 110 percent given by their facility. Now I'm not biast just because I worked there..cause I was fired from there . I'm saying this because it's a FACT I've worked in many places in 23 years different homes etc. But it was this facility and only this facility that showed the level of care we expect for our loved ones. The dignity the love the way you would want cared for yourself is all right there in Westbrook Care Center. Steve is a Wonderful Man to do business with he treats you like family and he ensures your member of the family get the kind of care we all expect. His wife Amy the D.O.N is a Brilliant Lady that you'd swear was an Angel. The tenderness she shows each and every resident is phanominal. The acts of kindness makes this facility gives 24-7 makes you want to be apart it.15 years after being let go for having my boyfriend inside the facility after hours to this day I still regret ever messing up cause I would work there again in a heartbeat . I hope this helps those of you looking for a place to place mom and Dad. Because this here is the right choice to make.

It's been really comforting to me to know that my mother has excellent care. She feels that everyone at Westbrook is her friend and she loves them very much. We have been lucky to find a place that is convenient, run very well, and that has done so much for her and me. Our families experience at Westbrook has been excellent.

I love that my mother lives in his beautiful, stylish, well cared for hotel-apartment style community. She is safe, secure and above all, HAPPY! She has many friends who are warm and welcoming. Paradise Village has many amenities, along with caring, friendly staff - a winning combination.

My Mother-in-law was a recent resident of Westbrook. During my visits with her, I was able to see for myself the staff, the care, the facility and how it operates. During the 40 plus years I've worked in the Medical field, I have never witnessed such caring and committed staff members. The entire staff at Westbrook not only sets the example,, THERE ARE THE EXAMPLE ! Everyone there is a Superior Performer in care giving. Westbrook Villa's in Kearney, Mo is second to None, you lead by example, by doing. THANK YOU for being such wonderful, caring people!

Can't say enough great things about the management and staff at Westbrook. They are extremely caring and attentive to every resident. This facility is local and family owned, which might contribute to why it has such a warm and welcoming feel to it compared to some of the larger "franchise" operations I've toured. I would recommend Westbrook to anyone in the Kansas City northland who is looking for independent or assisted living for a loved one.

My mother has been living at Westbrook Care Center for about two years now, and she is very happy. It makes us happy to know that she is well taken care of. We were not able to give her the specialized attention and constant care that she needed, so we turned to Westbrook Care Center. She has made tons of friends and is always on the go to some activity! We absolutely love it there!
