I am a hospice nurse and very impressed with the care and cooperation I get from their team. Joanne, the resident care director and Lori, the memory care director are very informative and a pleasure to work with. Marina, the activities director, appears to be dedicated to the residents happiness and well being. Knowing so many centers in the area, I would give them a top rating.

I am an Occupational Therapist and have worked in multiple Assisted Living facilities within Bergen County area. I can confidently say this is one of the best facilities within the area. The staff here has been amazing and proactive when working with residents. All staff members have great relationships with the residents and provide caring assistance when needed. They provide a great activity program to increase social interaction with community members and ensure residents are being physically active. Staff is constantly having meetings to stay up to date with best care they can provide as well as interactive meetings with residents to improve their wants and needs within the facility. This is a place that I would be comfortable having a family member of my own stay.

As a full time hospice nurse, I observe and participate in the care provided to residents at many different facilities. Although I work with many great centers for seniors, the levels of care and overall professionalism at Arbor Terrace is truly one that needs to be recognized. Not only does each staff member go above and beyond with all medical needs, but they truly take the time to understand every one of their patient's individual needs and personalities. The combination of the staff, communication, and impeccable sanitation would genuinely lead me to recommend Arbor Terrace to my personal friends and family.

I cannot stress enough how awesome the staff is. They take time to visit and talk to each one of the residents every single day. They address any need immediately. They work with you as far as payment goes. The staff encourages a feeling of community instead of just a place to live. By staff I mean every single person who works here. Thank you for making our mother comfortable, involved and most importantly, safe.

Arbor Terrace Norwood has been a blessing to our family. My mom has been very happy living there for the last four years. All of the staff treat her with the highest respect and personal care. She enjoys all of the meals served in the dining room and socializing with the other residents. There are many activities provided daily and she is frequently encouraged to participate. I especially appreciate that Arbor Terrace provides many outstanding live musical programs and performances for my mom to enjoy. Our family is comforted knowing she is receiving excellent care and all of her needs are being met. When we speak to my mom daily and visit her she thanks us for finding Arbor Terrace Norwood. It is always is great pleasure visiting and spending time with her there and the staff have been very responsive to any of our concerns. Our family and mom highly recommend Arbor Terrace Norwood.

I can't say enough positive things about Arbor Terrace in Norwood. It was a very difficult decision to move my mom to an assisted living facility and we looked all around Bergen County for a place she would be happy. From the moment we met Xiomara and Marissa and toured the facility we knew this was the place for her! From the moment we decided to move my mom I had so much support from Xiomara and her team. Everyone is so kind and caring and it feels more like a hotel than an assisted living home. My mom has only been there for a month and we have already seen amazing progress in her strength and excitement for the everyday life. This was the best decision we could have made!!!

Arbor Terrace is a very special place, a small facility with a friendly, kind and caring staff. The facility is new, very pretty with a lovely outdoor patio and front terrace. The guests are treated with dignity, kept busy and well cared for. I feel fortunate that such a place exists.

I am writing this review primarily to give well deserved kudo's to Xiomara Padilla for working with me. She is very professional and well organized. She knows her company's offering well and the industry. Due to location we did not choose this place for our Mom. My parents are safe, comfortable and really well cared for at Arbor Terrace. The staff are very caring and kind and the facility is beautiful. They moved from assisted living into memory care when they needed the extra care. It was a seamless and smooth transition. We are all grateful that Arbor is such a wonderful place for them to live.

Wow..I was totally blown away by how beautiful Arbor Terrace was. My mother and I visited this summer and we loved what we saw. Everything is updated and beautifully decorated. Xiomara gave us a wonderful tour. She showed us the apartment options- all so amazing and there are many common areas (library/family party room/theater..)that residents can use. The activity options were varied- from rosary club to group workout classes. The staff and the residents were warm and happy. We had a delicious lunch and we were impressed with all of the menu items that residents can choose. This visit brought my mom one step closer to moving to an adult community. Thank you!

Arbor Terrace Norwood is an exceptional place. When I met with Chris Winnie, Director of Sales, I thought it sounded too good to be true. Now that my mom has been there for almost a year, I can say without a doubt that he was absolutely right about all he promised. My mom thinks of the staff as family. She has adopted all of them - and she has done that because they treat her like family - with care, respect, humor, compassion, and love. They have become our extended family. The activities they provide keep her mind and body active. She describes the food as excellent (and given that cooking was always her joy, that is high praise indeed). She has a core group of friends, but knows everyone. She may forget a name, but she has a smile for everyone. I find myself having a great time when I visit, not only seeing her in the comfort of her suite but also playing trivia with the "group." Arbor Terrace Norwood has made all of our lives better.

We recently chose Arbor Terrace Norwood for my mother. In the process of making our decision we spent a lot of time with Chris Winnie, the Community Sales Director at Arbor Terrace. Chris was fantastic on all levels: he was well informed on all topics, very transparent, and very communicative at every stage of the decision making process. There were never any surprises because he made sure we knew what to expect all the way through. Further, after we decided on Arbor Terrace he went above and beyond to ensure my Mom's transition into the community was a smooth one. He's still checking on her even six months after she joined the AT community! Chris is a consummate professional and very empathetic. Arbor Terrace is in an ideal location, so close to NYC. The apartments were nice and would fit plenty. The staff and community director seemed happy and caring which is important to us.

I gave better review of Arbor Terrace but wasn't posted that way.It is true the higher ups really don't listen and medicine was mixed up by nurse Dianne but medics Janala and Morgan are wonderful.The aides are very caring and girls at front desk are great!!!

Atria has been the best thing for my mom! She LOVES being social and being around people all day! When she lived on her own, she wasnt able to drive and get out so she only saw people on the weekends. Now its every day and it has enriched her life tremendously! Staff all know her name and Laura gets a special shout out for always going above and beyond!!

Atria, Norwood, is outstanding! The staff is different from many places, they CARE!. The building is immaculate and well furnished. My Mom has been living there for over a year now and we have no complaints. Her room is beautiful and she loves the food. The Wellness staff keep residents meds perfect.
