As a current resident who’s generally well satisfied with The Village and its many amenities, i was dismayed that the hair salon cancelled all of today’s appointments (including my standing appointment) with no advance notice. My appearance on this holiday is not a good advertisement for the Village! Not a big deal in the overall scheme of things, but not consistent with their usual high standards.

This is a great company to work for! Every time I turn around they have found a new way to show their appreciation to their employees. I have never worked for a company before that gives so much. To leave a loved one in the company of strangers in not an easy proposition. It is a big change for them, and a huge fear for family. Never in my mother's 6 month stay did we regret her moving into The Village at Mill Landing. The facility is beautiful. From the grounds, to the lobby, the cafe, the game room; everything was top notch. But the most important thing, the best thing, was the care my mother received. They really took care of her. Not just the basics, they went out of their way to make her stay as pleasant as possible. The ending of pretty much everybody's stay there is the same. But, her journey to that place was made all the better by the exceptional staff at Mill Landing. I can't thank them enough.

The land scape is always well kept and the inside is very nice looking and clean with a nice atmosphere. Staff is very kind and very helpful. My mother needed a place like this for added guidance and meet friends of her age. This was a good choice and a good future for her.

As a family we struggled with the difficult decision many families face. Realizing our dad needed more care then we were able to provide and wanting to do the best for our dad, we searched our hearts and options. We knew he did not want to live with us. I like the appearance on the outside and inside of the building. The lobby, fireplace, and staircase capture my attention. I never saw an Assisted Living that was as beautiful. I like the decorations for every season, they are beautiful. Exercise, games & crafts, movies, and manicures are my favorite of activities. The hair dresser on site is a great feature. Easter and Christmas choir, I just loved! You cant forget about the cafe eitheI love the staff, especially when they mingle with us. The aids are polite and friendly. They do a wonderful job. I love the people who live here, we are all happy and friendly to one anotherSo you can see how much I love it here. I am very lucky to be here with my husband as well.On a personal note, my husband and I were disappointed with the food when we first moved in close to two years ago. It is better now. We love Heather and she tries hard to please us all, which is very hard to do!

My Mom is at the Village at Mill Landing in memory care. I thank God every day that she is in their care. Everyone there is unbelievable!! They keep my family up to date on everything, they are so patient and kind with my Mom and all of the residents there. Its SO hard not seeing Mom during this Covid epidemic but we know she is loved and taken care of. I cant say enough, they are simply the BEST

To be honest, it took me 1-2 months before I was truly happy at Mill Landing. Now, I wouldnt want to be anywhere else! My daughter comes to visit me once a week and my other children call me often. I have made so many friends, get out of my apartment everyday, make muffins and help Skip in the Cafe. I even recorded a radio commercial with Christie. Life is a lot of fun here!

The Village at Mill Landing has been a godsend to all of us. Mom and my brother (who is mentally challenged) moved in a year ago. The staff is so kind and loving it makes us realize we made an excellent choice in care for mom. Its obvious how much the employees love them by the way they treat and watch over both of them. They have become family to all of us! Mom has a full day of activities and socialization. She has good friends who she spends time with laughing and seeing movies together. I would like to call out a few exceptional angels that work there— Gwen at the front desk has her angel wings! Amy, always with a kind word and a big smile, Ava always making my brother feel at home, and Sandy who keeps moms gorgeous apartment spotless, Margaret who helps with anything I need and always with a smile, Bonnie and the nursing staff is the best! I cant thank all of you enough. Big thanks to Christine for your big heart.

My family and I went to several places to check them out and find a place for me to live in my older years. The Village at Mill Landing ended up at the top of our list. I have to admit that it was quite overwhelming to have to leave my home and move here and live alone in my apartment. But from the beginning, the staff here were more than kind and went out of their way to help me feel at home more and more, and believe me, they were real in their outreach and not fake in their care and kindness! I have lived here several months now and have made many friends and people (staff, etc) who truly care about me. The programs that are prepared for us are fun and help us to join in with others to enjoy being together just about every day. It is also a place where our friends and relatives can come any time to visit or take us home for the day, etc. I hope I can continue to live here for a long time!

The staff and people here are always cheerful and helpful. I appreciate the free rides to my doctors appointments. I enjoy the social times in the Hometown Cafe where we play card and joke around with friends. I like when we have entertainment. I feel very comfortable and happy here, I am also lucky to have my beautiful wife here with me.

I moved to The Village at Mill Landing last year to give my family peace of mind. Lynette, my caregiver is one in a million! She would do anything to make things easier for me. Caitlyn is a bright spot to my mornings and always has a smile when she comes in to help me. I also think that the kitchen staff is doing a great job during our current crisis.

We are all so very pleased with Mill Landing! My Mother is being so well cared for and loved by the entire staff. Everyone has helped with this transition for the entire family. They not only care for Mom but the the emotional part for the whole family! Mom is very happy and safe...that is all we can ask for! It is always clean and fresh and the seasonal decorations are always cheerful. The family functions, music, art activities and Eldergrow are all wonderful stimulation for the residents. Thank you to the entire staff!

Christine Runs Mill Landing With Care And Has Some Rules That Some May think are Strict. She Maintains Cleanliness And Makes Sure Every Resident Is Well Cared For. If Anyone Has Any Harsh Feelings Against Her Its Because She Has No Toleranse For People Who Dont Comply With the Rules And Regulations That Make Mill Landing Run Smooth. Christine Is Always Seen Walking Through Mill Landing Making sure Everything Is In Its Place. The Negitive Remarks Made Concerning Christine Were Made By Someone Who Was On A Witch Hunt To Destroy Her Character. She Has A Open Door Policy For Residents And Employees , Anyone Is Welcomed To Share Their Problems

This facility has been the perfect place for my Mom (90 yrs) who suffered a stroke 2 years ago. She started out in the Memory Care Unit. With the guidance of her medical staff and the understanding & permission of the Director & Staff of Mill Landing, we moved her a few months later to the Assistant Living side. She has flourished and adjusted well to the Assistant Living Side. My Mom is not able to do all the activities because of speech limitations & understanding but is treated and helped with respect and love each day. The staff never hesitates to contact me at any time to help in any situation that comes up in her daily living.From Christie, Margaret, Danielle, Terry ...ALL THE NURSES, Aids, Food Staff & Maintenance I highly recommend this facilityP.S. ....at one time I even reached out to The Administration of Leisure Care and they got back to me the same day with much respect & help :

I visited The Village at Mill Landing during one of their events and was immediately impressed with how everyone working there greeted me with a smile. All staff were kind, caring and they truly seemed to be enjoying what they were doing. The environment was very clean, modern and the community had a very home like feel. The residents I encountered were happy and engaged in numerous activities which brought a smile to their faces. Staff greeted residents within the community by name and readily addressed their needs. I am impressed with how The Village at Mill Landing partners with the community to provide education, resources regarding pertinent issues around caring for the elderly. My overall impression of this facility was extremely positive and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to those looking for an environment that promotes living to the fullest !

Our mother has been a resident at Mill Landing since it first opened 2 years ago. In her previous Independent Living situation she was very lonely and not eating properly. Since she arrived at Mill Landing, she has blossomed. She joins in most of the activities, has made good friends, and is beloved by the people who work there. The facility is beautiful, and the people both caring and professional. She has a very nice little apartment, but is seldom in it because she is too busy interacting with the staff and other residents. Mill periodically holds events that bring in the families: Holiday Bell Choir and singing choir (the residents practiced for weeks), Mothers Day tea, weekly Ice Cream socials, and summer barbecues. On-site medical professionals mean that health questions can be addressed very quickly. We have been delighted with her care there, and we whole-heartedly recommend the facility to others.
