Lavenders Lane Senior Living is a wonderful place spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely engaged with the residents. The activities coordinator is fantastic, always keeping everyone happy and introducing new and creative activities. It's such a friendly, wholesome environment.

Follow-up Review: I wrote my original review when this community was known as Arbor Rose, and I wanted to come back and share an update now that it has become Lavender Lane under new ownership. What impressed me a couple months ago still holds true today, the warm, home-like atmosphere that never feels institutionalized. For families navigating the difficult journey of dementia, that environment matters more than words can express. What makes me even more encouraged now is seeing the positive transformation taking place. The new leadership team is clearly committed to creating a culture centered on compassion, accountability, and meaningful relationships with both residents and their families and being dignified in the community’s eyes. That commitment is evident throughout the community. The campus has also received a much-needed refresh and now feels like a charming cottage village, comfortable, welcoming, and truly a place that feels like home. One area that deserves special recognition is the activities program. The activities team is phenomenal, especially in Memory Care. They provide engaging, purposeful experiences that promote dignity, connection, and joy for residents living with dementia. It’s evident they understand that quality of life is about so much more than meeting physical needs. Looking back, I still feel the same peace I felt after my first visit, only now I have an even greater appreciation for the direction Lavender Lane is headed. It’s wonderful to see a community investing in both its environment and, more importantly, its people. Previous review: Robin gave me a tour as I am assisting my mom in seeking placement for my aunt with vascular dementia. I immediately knew this was the place for her, it has such a homelike environment and not at all an appearance or feel of being institutionalized which helps tremendously with individuals with dementia who are in the process of transitioning to a higher level of care. I feel at peace knowing that her quality of life will be honored and maintained for the last days she has on earth which is all any family can ask for at this stage of the disease.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Robin at Arbor Rose for the seamless transition of my dad to his new "home." On his first day at Arbor Rose, Robin and staff were there to welcome him, ensuring his care and comfort were their utmost priority. From the moment he walked in the front doors, my dad said he felt like a member of their family, and he was overcome with appreciation for the warmth and love they all showed for him. I speak to him almost every day by phone, and it warms my heart to hear that smile back in his voice!!! He loves the staff, how he is treated, and how he is checked on during the day. He said he feels like he "belongs" and "matters" and those two things are important to him - and to me! Robin was the main reason my dad chose Arbor Rose and, in working with her closely during the paperwork and transition phase, I could see why Arbor Rose was top on his list! A big THANK YOU to Robin and the team at Arbor Rose for having hearts full of love, compassion, and for making a difference in the lives of the residents. My dad and I are grateful!!!

I would love to give a 5!! But A really good friend of the family I like to call her my second mom.. was placed here a few months ago to the memory unit just came home from visiting her. The facility is clean and have friendly caring employees. They are looked after and very safe even cameras in their rooms for fall risk. But it has a depressing tone to it. I think the residents would benefit with more color or liveliness. Their outside area is horrible just a slab of fake grass and 4 single chairs. Maybe you should add tables and chairs that are comfy some flowers and plants maybe a little garden for engagement and liveliness. A place for them to get away since they can't get out unless on a trip. Something to think about. I'm sure residents pay a pretty penny and deserve these not to much to ask for necessities.

Care depends upon the staff working there. I visit during meal times which are often late & cold. Residents pushing away plates & complaining. No one helps those needing food cut up. Serve the food, only. Things were getting better about 2 months ago. Now, not so much.

The staff at Arbor Rose has made my Mom happy, cared for, & she feels safe. Mom was reluctant to go into Assisted Living, however, the staff has quelled those concerns. They engage with her, even signing along with a song she is listening to! Arbor Rose has allowed us to make her room her very own. Mom said recently, I’m tickled pink with my room! Thank you, Arbor Rose(Mesa) for taking such great care of my Mom!! ©

My loved one LOVED this place when they were able to go. Then covid hit and my loved one just went into a depression.They made so many friends and to be cut off from that interaction,kills the spirit. I think some negative reviews said this place was dull looking, but when I went in there for the first time, (not sure what it looks like now,it has been since 2020,my loved one couldn`t go), but the cafeteria looked like an Italian or French sidewalk cafe, I was so impressed, and now that the restrictions have been lifted, I HOPE to be able to get my loved one back in there. One bad thing: don`t send anything in that`s nice, for it will disappear. Some people presume you go there, you can afford to have things taken from your loved ones. IT`s NOT TRUE FOR US!! If it weren`t for a very generous organization, my loved one couldn`t go, and that means I can`t afford that place by ourselves or anything disappearing. Please be kind and don`t take from others, you don`t know who your taking things from or what their situation is.

I have had nothing but great service from Arbor Rose, with the handling of my Dad's case. He moved in several months ago and Dad is happier now then when he was living with us. I know that's difficult to grasp since my name is Willy Wonka and he had LOTS of short help here at the factory. So imagine my shock! Ha! But seriously... we're so happy that we found Arbor Rose. It's really been the best choice for Dad. I took him to dinner the other night and he bragged about how "they do haircuts and everything". He was sporting a nice doo AND his fingernails were trimmed (which is a pet peave of his). Anyway, kudos to the team at Arbor. Great job, from Dylan to everyone else. Thanks!
