Great place for your loved one! My sister was in another facility and Magnolia is so much better and less expensive! I was concerned about some negative reviews before she moved but this is a whole new staff from those old reviews. This staff is exceptional. The director, Kevin, is kind, compassionate and professional. So impressed and thankful to have him here. Emma is a joy to me every time I walk in the front door. She's so efficient and follows up with all issues on top of her natural kindness she displays all the time. The activities director, Gency, is creative and works so hard to encourage everyone to participate and most do because every event I've seen has been overflowing. The nursing staff, including Shirma and Lyshon, are caring, knowledgable and professional. All of the patient care staff that I've met have been wonderful. The food is good and has enough variety to stay interesting. The facility is clean, laundry is done so nicely. Look no further, you'll be blessed to have your special person here!

Magnolia Place is a beautiful facility with friendly, helpful staff. I am a hospice nurse and this is one of my favorite facilities to go to. Staff is almost always available to talk with about any concerns or updates. I especially love their fresh baked cookies that they have out for the residents and guests!

Met with Kevin the executive Director and he conducted the visit and the tour. He was very thorough with his presentation and all indications are that it seems to be a good place to place your loved one when the time comes for that.

My mom has been in the memory care wing at Magnolia Place for almost six months now, and it’s been a really positive experience so far. It’s a much better fit for her compared to the assisted living facility where she was previously. The staff offers a full daily activity schedule, plus special events, which keeps her engaged and active instead of spending her days alone in her room. She has dementia, so there are naturally some tough days, but overall, I truly believe Magnolia Place is the right place for her. The memory care team—especially Angela—has been wonderful. They genuinely seem to care about the residents, and my mom often tells me how kind everyone is to her. It’s a huge relief to know she’s in good hands and that I don’t need to constantly worry or check in. They even go the extra mile to make sure her hearing aids and phone are charged, which has always been a challenge for her. That kind of attention to detail means so much to me. I really hope she continues to enjoy living there and that the excellent level of care remains consistent.

We moved Mom to Magnolia Place two weeks ago. We have been very happy with the care she has received. The personal care from the aids and the numerous activities she has been involved in made the transition smooth. There is no better feeling than to know your loved one is in good hands. Wanted to give a shout out to Ali, it was a great time at Fa La La La Llama! Despite the entertainment got stuck in traffic and the power went out, Ali was a pro and had us all singing carols and enjoying while we waited. The entertainment and Llamas arrived and the fun continued. My Mom and I had a great time. Thank you Ali for all you do for the residents!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Ali who organized a spectacular Mothers Day celebration yesterday complete with beautifully set tables, tea sets and homemade high tea treats, live music and LLAMAS. Pi and Quinn were so adorable and it was a treat to see so many residents engaged in all parts of it. Keeping our elderly parents comfortable and continuing to have an enriched experience is so important to their well being, and MP does a great job with this! I always appreciate so much the personalized attention Ali gives each resident. I should also mention that Mecca is their favorite caregiver and takes excellent care of their beloved doggie.

This was my first time at Magnolia Place! I was so impressed by the courteous staff especially Ali. She worked hard to make sure residents and guests were well taken care of and having an enjoyable time. The residents were happy and friendly and the common areas were clean and nicely decorated. I will be glad to visit again!

My Mom has been at Magnolia Place for a few months now. There are a few shining stars there and one is Alicia (Ali) Ayre, the Life Enrichment Director. She truly cares about the residents. She has gone out of her way to make my Mom feel comfortable in joining in activities and even personally encourages her to participate and make her feel welcome.

We recently had to make the decision to place my mother in an assisted living facility. We are so lucky to have found magnolia place of Roswell. Everyone has been so kind and helpful and made us all feel right at home. My mother's days are filled with fun activities. This transition could not have gone any better! Thank you to everyone that works there! Update: I just wanted to add that Ali, the activities director is the best. From the day we moved my mother in, she had gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome and comfortable. She has so many fun activities for the residents, my mother is so busy and loving all the new games, exercise, music and other activities. I can't say enough about Ali and the other staff I have had contact with, they have been helpful and caring. Thank you!!

There are a few shining stars at Magnolia Place despite the horrible experience we have had. Alicia, the activities director is amazing. There is something every day and she goes over the top for the residents. She truly cares and it shows. We moved our loved one here after seeing all the positive reviews. Unfortunately for us we got here just in time for a huge turn over in staff. A place is only as good as it’s employees and the new people who now work here are sub par. This facility is understaffed and relies on contracted workers who are here today and gone tomorrow. It is certainly not the place we heard it once was. No one returns phone calls or e-mails from the director all the way up to corporate. Not a place you would want for your loved one. So very discouraging and sad.

My sister has been in Magnolia Place for two years. I have been very happy with her care. We will call Magnolia her home now. My concern is there has been turnover of employees, some of my favorite people have left but the new people coming in seem confident and have been very sweet to my sister. The consistent staff, who I’ve known for a couple years are wonderful. So loving and caring. Alicia/Ali is a lively energetic force. She always makes sure that people are engaged and having fun. My father moved to Magnolia Place recently from another facility in Roswell. He loves it here. It is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. The care level dramatically better than the other facility, and the cost is quite a bit lower. Shayla at Magnolia has been a great help for my dad and for my family in this move. My dad was very hesitant about moving. Shayla arranged for the facility van to pick up my father and spend the afternoon at the facility, touring and meeting the staff and residents. When my dad returned to his apartment he called and wanted to move right away. Shayla helped us find a senior mover on short notice. She visited my dad in the hospital after he was injured at the other facility. She helped with unpacking. Today I saw a picture of my dad on the Facebook page for Magnolia Place - he was smiling for the first time that I have seen in 2022.

Great overall experience. I had the task of relocating my mother from home to assistive living and I was in over my head before I knew it...Visited Magnolia Place and had Shayla as my guide....She was very thorough and answered all my questions.. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and Shayla's experience with senior living had her one step ahead of my needs throughout the entire process......Thanks to Shayla, Sharise & the Magnolia staff for the ease of this transition. Our parents moved into Magnolia Place in late 2018 and are thrilled with their new home. They frequently thank us for finding this place for them; they love their apartment, the staff, the food, and the activities. The Magnolia Place driver will take them to appointments, grocery shopping, or Walmart. They have musical entertainment quite often, pet therapy, painting or exercise classes, and games just for fun. It gives my sister and me peace of mind knowing the staff are attentive to their needs and the requests from the families they also serve. They are always patient, friendly, cheerful and eager to help with any request.
