I want to let you know that Inspired Living in Bradenton on SR70 JUST east of Interstate 75 is a very special place for residents in assisted Living and in memory care. I am speaking by comparison and experience. I know, because I experience over 20 memory care locations because I entertain in many locations between Sun City Center, Bradenton and Sarasota. The Heartbeat of Lakewood Ranch Inspired Living and Sun City Lakewood Ranch are in the employees that work there and dedication and heart that they put into a difficult job.. It seems like the hiring process involves witnessing how big of a heart and how big of a smile they have. Inspired Living gives the tools to make life active, fulfilling and meaningful with a hug once and awhile or just holding a hand. There is participation from administrator down to the part time worker. Sun City Center Inspired Living is smaller but is jam packed full of activities and fun and Lakewood Ranch Inspired Living is Larger Facility with Assisted Living and memory care. Both places have alot going on and both locations have alot of heart.. My opinions come only from observation from entertaining the past 17 years in these three communities

Inspired Living has been a wonderful home for my father. The staff, especially Steph, Alex, and Zach, have shown exceptional care and compassion during a challenging time for our family. Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch is definitely the best place for mom. You are welcomed and recognized by all staff. First by Annette at the front desk who always has a warm smile and hug, the floor staff who are always checking in with mom and provide kind and witty stories about her days, the kitchen staff that is willing to prepare food she likes when she wants it and the custodial staff that keep her room and facility shining. The activities are well-thought out and varied, even bringing in a therapy sheep! Jessie who oversees health and wellness always has time to visit with you and address any concerns or questions. And then Zach, the director who has an open door policy and a weekly phone update for all families. This is the best "home" mom has been in. Thank you all for your caring, compassion and friendliness!

Just wanted to share how pleased we are with the entire staff, programs, and facilities at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch. The professionalism, empathy and care provided for my mom has been above and beyond. From the care givers, to the dining room staff, sales associates, receptionists, activities planners, maintenance personnel, health care managers, all the way up to the executive director, everyone has provided an exceptional experience and level of service. Every single team member has gone out of their way to make a difficult transition to assisted living feel as close to home as possible for my mom. She couldn't have found a better place to live as she recovers from an automobile accident several months ago. She has flourished during her time here, and the entire staff is directly responsible for her rapid progress. I highly recommend Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch for your loved one when the time comes to transition to an fun, active lifestyle, requiring a little extra TLC from a caring, compassionate staff ready to make them feel right at home!

Inspired Living has been a great move for my mom. The staff is attentive and so very caring. Everyone from the receptionists to the director stop me when I visit and tell me how my mom is doing with specific examples. It is the staff that makes this place awesome. They listen attentively when you provide feedback good or bad, this is important because no place will be perfect…at Inspired Living they listen. I am so thankful fo have found this place for my mom.

My family moved my grandmother into inspired living Lakewood ranch a few weeks ago and the transition was great for her. She needs assistance with medication management reminders, showers, and more. It was getting to be too much at home. The staff has been prompt and helpful. She is in good hands with the team and says she really likes it.

Having visited dozens of Assisted Living/Memory Care communities in the Bradenton-Sarasota area, I'm here to tell you...there are none that stack up to delivering the kind and degree of competent, loving and compassionate attention and care one finds at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch. I've never seen so many smiles or found a community of residents who were happier or more engaged with their neighbors. And I've never found a staff that "walks the talk" like the team at Inspired Living. From my spot on the bench, the difference seems to be rooted in the reality that Inspired Living residents are family...not just customers...family members who are embraced, loved and cared for just like you or I would look after ourselves or our own parent or relative. If it's the total welfare and wellbeing of yourself or loved one that you seek...look no further! There is no better choice than Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch. Inspired Living in LWR would not be the same without some of the caring staff! My mom has been a resident for almost a year and Jesse has been there the whole time. She's dedicated, caring, responsible, attentive, and just the most amazing person. She leads some very caring med techs as well. Please keep this girl happy because you NEVER want to lose her!

My mother has been at Inspired Living (Lakewood Ranch) for almost two months now, and the experience has been wonderful. She has been actively welcomed into the community, and is now a very happy part of it. Aside from being a great physical facility, the personnel are phenomenal. Noteworthy is my mother's medical assistant, Dee, who is warm, attentive, empathetic, and unconditionally supportive. John, one of the servers in the dining room, brings a remarkably positive personality to every interaction, which makes dining a happy social event. He, like others, knows and anticipates my mother's needs, and makes eating the great food even more satisfying. Finally, Becca (Inspired Living's star!!!) made our transition into my mother's new home efficient, seamless, and problem-free. She is ever-present, and one of the major reasons one should be comfortable trusting Inspired Living (Lakewood Ranch) with a loved one. This is an important placement, and they get it done really, really well!

my mom moved into Inspired Living in July 2022. We had concerns about her accepting the change but have been pleasantly surprised at how well she has adjusted! Initially we were welcomed with open arms by Paula, Rebecca and April. However over the past year the superstars Jessy Josaphat and Patty have remained consistent! They have become part of our family and have since added Magdala, John, Marlena, Viola, Victoria and Marvin. There are many others that I have missed but We thank you all for everything you do for mom and us. Thank you Inspired Living Family!

I was there for a Hawaiian theme luncheon for the residents and family. I must say, it is a very inviting place, for a moment I thought I was at a luxury hotel. And the staff....second to none. One member in particular stood out to me, her name is Tiana. Tiana went beyond expectations when it comes to attention to detail and service to residents. She has an incredible ease of approachability, and her friendly and loving approach towards her residents makes you feel that your loved ones are truly being treated like family.

I moved to Inspired Living because I was living alone and not real happy I went on a tour, and Jennifer was fabulous showing me around and I realized after seeing everything and her telling me wonderful things about Inspired Living that I decided to live here! I Can say from the bottom of my heart that the staff care for each and every resident as if they are their own family. Lakewood Ranch Inspired Living has plenty to offer for the residents with a daily agenda of activities and outings. From shopping, beach trips, sight seeing, themed dinner parties, happy hour, game days, and plenty other ways to keep the residents engaged. My mom enjoys being at Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch. Good meals and activities. Most important is the transportation to and from doctors, shopping, restaurants, and special outings (Broadway shows, etc) handled by Kevin. He is like a member of the family. The concierge services are excellent especially Marie, Annette, Renee and others.

The management and staff made navigating through the process very simple and easy. And pricing was very reasonable and competitive. We are out of state and they did whatever was required to meet our needs, and they did it happily. Every time we visited the facility people were more than gracious and were attentive and engaged with the residents in a caring manner. Our mother was later moved to LakeWood Ranch and again the care was outstanding and they managed the transition professionally so there was minimum stress. Our mother passed away a few days ago but we feel strongly that she could not have had better care. Inspired Living facilities truly do operate with 'generosity of spirit', as they claim. Our experience with my mother in law has been wonderful! She requires consistent care in regards to getting dressed, assistance and transportation to and from her doctor appointments. The staff is very kind and caring. Food is excellent and most particularly transportation which managed by Kevin the driver. She receives personal care in coordinating and taking her to and from all of her many doctor appointments. We couldn't ask for a better staff to care for her.

We moved in my father-in-law yesterday and are very pleased with the entire staff making the transition very easy. They gave him such a warm welcome as we arrived through the lobby. Everyone made him feel like family. Doug and Edwin in Plant Ops went above and beyond our expectations to ensure his room was in perfect condition. Also, Vanessa and Adaris in housekeeping exceeded our expectations by ensuring everything was clean and welcoming. Paula, April, and Shari working up front made him feel at home and ensured all of our questions and concerns were addressed. They provided him with a tour of the facility and made sure he was well acquainted. We feel confident that he will be well taken care of here as a result of the wonderful staff mentioned above.

My brother was in the memory care portion of the facility. We had just come from another facility where we did not feel he was getting the attention he needed. When I researched many facilities, I was looking for outdoor space I could take my brother when we visited as they tend to be more relaxed, private and quite. This facility has BY FAR the best outdoor space with a pool, huge lake with a fishing pier, walking path/deck, AND a dog park so I can bring his beloved dog to run and play with. For the memory care only, they had a very large, SAFE area for the residents to walk around with 3 patios for easy access to all residents. If you have a loved one with dementia, you know how they love to walk around! For the short time we were there, we used this feature often. The outdoor space is what brought us but the staff is what we were impressed with. A shout out for: Doug, who picked the perfect room and even helped us move in. Cleaning crew who prepared the room on short notice so it was ready when we got there after a very warm welcome by all staff! Paula, who had to go back and forth with me because of some unresolved issues on my part before we could get moved in. Such a sweet lady! Candice who even when short handed, took up the slack and tended to the residents with compassion and respect. April, the director who did not just sit in her office pushing papers, the was out and about talking with residents, family, and staff, even in memory care. The activity director (can't remember her name) was also very upbeat and helpful. All the caregivers were sweet & compassionate to the residents and family members, and believe me, we (as a family member) were needy! Overall, a primo experience.

My wife Nancy is in memory care at this facility for the last 10 months.At first it was not that good but now that they have a couple of men that can lift her easily (Markeye and Cordell) it has been much better and the help by some of the women (Ruthie ,Sofia,Marlana and Mairana) has improved my wife overall condition the last couple of months also the good transportation by Kevin to doctors. My main complaint on the facility is when they only have a couple of worker on a shift to feed and take care of 25 to 30 people but doesn't happen that often only mainly weekends also not having a consistent time for breakfast and dinner. They do have good food for the residents. I feed my wife breakfast and dinner every day and check her room as needed for supplies and overall condition of room therefore I observe what goes on there. I would give the place a 4 1/2 STAR

My dad needed memory care after my mom passed away, so we chose Inspired. The movers were to arrive at 2:30 pm to move Dad's furniture from another place he was staying. They never made it, so I called April, the Director at Inspired to advise her of the situation. Doug, the Operations Director heard the conservation and took it upon himself to get in his truck with a trailer and pick up my dad's furniture to complete the move. My parents moved to Inspired Living about 18 months ago. My mom was in memory care and received great care by the sweet and compassionate staff, until her recent passing. While she was there she especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area and screened porches. It was one of the reasons I moved them to this location as they both love the outdoors. My dad has enjoyed his time in Assisted Living and was able to visit my mom as much as he wanted. He loves the activities, socializing with the staff and residents, and of course the always available coffee and delicious food. The staff is exceptional. April is an amazing director and I must give a shout out to Doug, Kevin, Markeye, Cordelle, Sophia, Windy, Vindra, Erin, Annette, Marie, Sherelle, Jessica and so many others.

My Mother has been in Inspired Living since November and loves it! We had looked at several places in the area and this one had the best lifestyle program. They have a lot of scheduled activities and are always keeping her busy. Doug and his crew have gone above and beyond in accommodating her. The nursing staff is also top notch. Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch is a beautiful clean community with poolside lakefront view. The staff and leadership team are compassionate, friendly, and always willing to help. The Residents are happy and have various activities to choose from; there is always an exciting monthly event to enjoy with friends and family at the community.

After my father died, the staff at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch helped my mother adjust and become involved in the community activities. The activities movies and activities have good moral standards to them as well as just fun for residents. The assisted living staff seem to really care about taking care of residents. My mother said she is well taken care of and is glad she is there. The outside is nice with a big lake and a pool. One unique feature to the facility is that if there is a couple with one needing to be in the memory care side and one in the assisted living side, they allow the assisted living resident to visit the memory care resident daily. Not all facilities are able to do that.

My father is resident at Inspired Living. I moved him to this facility because it is so clean compared to other places we visited when I wanted to move him last July. The staff is so friendly and helpful. One quick text and light bulbs are replaced, maintenance can be requested, add remote to ceiling fan light, add seconds shelf in closet, add medicine cabinets, move furniture, etc. They check on him several times a day, 3 meals a day plus snacks. Lots of activities and again, awesome friendly helpful staff.

I am so grateful for inspiring living. The staff is professional and caring; the meals are great and the environment is beautiful and uplifting. It is wonderful to know that mom and dad are receiving the care they need. May I also express my gratitude for Vindra Leonardo health and wellness director. She is truly an asset to inspiring living. She's compassionate, knowledgeable and attentive. Vindra was also able to put my mind at ease when Covid-19 was on arise. I will forever be grateful for Vindra Leonardo and the inspiring living team!

We were referred to Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch by A Place for Mom when my mother-in-law developed a serious medical condition and could no longer live alone. The staff made transitioning from New York rehabilitation to Lakewood Ranch seamless. Doug was instrumental in helping to get her room comfortable and homy. Kevin makes every day enjoyable for all the residents providing transportation and handling activities, outings, and special occasions. He engages with each as if he/she were family. My mother-in-law loves the chef-prepared meals 3 times a day. Medical, concierge, and other house staff help to meet needs of daily living and beyond. While I believe my mother-in-law may feel homesick (almost 70 years in the same house), she does not mention it and truly enjoys her new home at Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch.

My husband and I have been delighted with the friendly staff from the administrators to the care -givers. The facility surpasses all of our expectations, and we look forward for my mother-in-law to have many happy days there. Our seamless moving-in process was possible with the kind and professional role of their Operations Director, Doug. We really feel like he went the extra mile. It is not everyday that you receive a red carpet welcoming from the entire staff....but our Nonna got one!

Inspired Living has been absolutley amazing transitioning my mom too assisted living. They had the warmest welcome when she came and even literally rolled out the red carpet, which really put mom at ease. The facility has taken enormous amount of precautions to keep mom and all the residents safe. If their is anything mom needs, they are right there helping it happen. Tanya, Lisa, Kendra and Doug have been especially amazing, helpful and so friendly. Mom is in a great place and happy. We are so glad out of all the places we could have picked we chose Inspired Living.

My mother moved to Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch in October 2019. We couldnt be happier with the care she receives at this community. From the concierge team, to the dining room staff to the caregivers and nurses everyone has been so helpful. Its a stressful situation for the resident and their family to have to face and the whole team made it work.We took my mother out of IL - LWR for Thanksgiving dinner following the strict COVID protocol the facility had in place. Upon her return we were advised that she would need to stay in her apartment for 10 days. This was a tall order for my mother as she likes to be out and about enjoying meals in the dining room and participating in some of the large amount of activities they offer. My mother did not have COVID it was just a part of making sure she didnt have it or spread it to other residents or staff.LaToya Martin, who has been one of my mothers caregivers since she moved in, was incredibly helpful during this time. I dont know how my mother would have gotten through without LaToyas help! She came in a couple of times each day to not only take care of Mom, but to make sure she had some loving human contact while in lockdown. From the beginning LaToya has been a godsend but we cant thank her enough for going above and beyond during this time when we cant be there in person to help our mother. She is always cheerful, helpful and professional and has become someone my mother truly loves and appreciates.Thank you LaToya and the whole IL - LWR team for taking such good care of our mother and all the other residents.

Thank you Cynthia Gongalez for the exception care you give my mother. I really like the service and attitude Cynthia has on the phone and in person. I live in Indiana but whenever I need something she is always there to help. It is very reassuring to feel like you have a person you can call for help and she will always be there and follow thru with fixing the issue. My mother lost her phone, again, and Cynthia went to look for it but since it could not be found she got my mother on the line in the lobby so she could talk to me and her sister who was worried about her. That night I ordered a plug in phone and Cynthia had me send it to her so she could make sure it was plugged in for my mom. (In her roomI do not want to take away from the General Manager, Louis, and the good job the staff has done hiring quality people like Cynthia. I have had numerous great interactions with this staff. Thanks everyone!!

I went in to visit the community and all the residents looked so happy, and so at ease.I took lunch there. It was prepared by a very friendly chef. It was penne pasta and Alfredo sauce with sauteed shrimp and vegetables. It was VERY good. The servers were great too. We had someone stop by our table every 5 minutes or so to check on us. It was like a fine dining experience in an Assisted Living community

My Aunt really enjoys living at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch. She has made some great friends and is very busy every day. Her favorite is the swimming pool, fishing on Saturdays and playing poker. She loves the care staff and refers to them as part of her family. Thank you staff for taking such good care of my Aunt Betty. She moved in during the month of April during COVID and I was very impressed with the Dept. of Health standards and how well the community was adjusting. They didnt miss a beat, my Aunt is safe and active and I am very grateful. Hats off to all!

While the care is good the front desk day person really need some retraining and customer service. She is short with family members and about as helpful as a rock She makes it difficult to get anything done and it seem to care less about people staying there.t is quite a shame that such a wonderful establishment places her in Frontline position.

Inspired Living is an amazing place to serve our residents and their families! Over the past nine months, I have had the awesome privilege of getting more acquainted with our Moms and Dads as well as their sons and daughters. Each one unique in their own way and absolutely everyone has a story! Although some of our residents have moved on from here, they will always have a special place notched out in my heart for them.2020 is here! I look forward to finding new ways to provide safe, competent, and compassionate care to each and everyone of our precious and amazing residents!!

My mother was in the hospital without a particular time frame so her release could be sooner than later. I called Inspired Living on Sunday Memorial Day weekend and on Memorial Day received a call back from Brandie in sales. Luckily she called ASAP and we started making plans for mom when released as she would need assisted living after discharge. Not knowing but moving ahead we were able to secure a lovely apartment for mom just in time for her discharge which of course came before we expected. Shes been there 2 weeks now and has settled in very quickly and feels right at home already!Everything is much easier for her there and theres always nurses on duty who she can summon with her transponder necklace if she needs assistance.Thanks again to Shannon the GM and Brandie in sales and the rest of the Inspired team for making our quick transition as easy as possible with a smile and integrity.

I along with my sister, have volunteered at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch over the past 3 yrs. The staff, being concierge, kitchen staff, or activities staff, treat the residents like family. Its a lovely atmosphere and Im happy to be part of such a great facility.

My dad moved into Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch in late January 2020. My dad has vascular dementia, lived on his own for 10 years after our mother Rita died. But as time went by it was clear he was going to need a much more supervised living situation. My sister Cindy found Inspired Living and loved it from the minute she visited. She brought my dad for a visit and they engaged him right away. And for my dad the most important thing was they had coffee available at all time! It took a few weeks for him to settle in but even through COVID-19 he continues to be happy, engaged and well taken care of. He loves his apartment, loves being served breakfast, lunch and dinner, participates in the programs he wants to participate in and has made lots of friends. The staff at Inspired Living have done an amazing job in keeping my dad safe and happy through this difficult time. I know it has not been easy, but each time we visit through the window and ask my dad if he needs anything, he tells us he has all he needs. Then we watch him go back to his friends and we know he is in the best place for him. We are so thankful to have found the right place for our dad. Thanks to all who keep him safe and happy every day!

Ive been volunteering with the Activities Department at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch for over 3 years. The staff, Marsha, Kevin, DeLeon, and Gloria are awesome. Its not a job to them, its taking care of family. I miss them and the residents since Covid-19 closed things down.

Dear The Wonderful Staff at Inspired Living of Lakewood RanchDealing with a pandemic is not easy for any family, but what made it worse is when my moms mobility and need of care came crashing down as well. My brothers and I had to make a gut wrenching decision to place our mother into an assistant living care facility. I chose Inspired Living of Lakewood Ranch based on reviews , testimonials , and videos. I was unable to visit the inside of facility. However, the service my family received before, during , and even today has been nothing but outstanding. My mom is being treated like a queen and the communication I am given is tremendous. They are so patient with her demands and I couldnt be more pleased. It is still uncertain when we will get to see my mom in person again, but I am so content knowing she is surrounded by such wonderful people. A big shout out to : Edie, Javier, Marsha, Angie , and Douglas who have shown my mom such compassion .I know there are many more of the staff that have helped her and I appreciate everyone one of you! Thanks again, for protecting my mom and her health.

My experience with Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch has been extremely positive. The staff is excellent. The manner in which they relate to the residents is very supportive, compassionate and gives each resident dignity as an individual. I have been overwhelmed by their efforts on the residents behalf. When I visit Lakewood, I am very happy because of the kindness and congenial atmosphere created by the staff. I leave in a good mood, knowing that my friend who is a resident, is content and enjoying his residency.This positive experience has been reinforced by all the staff: admissions office, Health and Wellfare, receptionists,, nurses, kitchen, activities programmers, maintenance. Every effort is made on behalf of the residents. I am very impressed with the activities that are provided to the residents. The community rooms, grounds, residents rooms are lovely and comfortable.I highly recommend Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch. I am pleased that I have had an opportunity to visit and witness this exceptionally fine place.

I moved my mother to Inspired Living when it opened, about four years ago. Previously she was at two other facilities in Sarasota. Neither one of them compare to the care she receives at Inspired Living. My wifes family has been so impressed with my mothers experience all these years, they decided to move their mother into Memory Care. They have been very happy with their decision. My mother-in-law loves where she lives.

We moved our parents from a different local care facility to Inspired Living to improve their care. It was an excellent decision. The caregivers in the assisted living area and the memory care area have been caring and compassionate. The food, environment and activities are very good. We have gotten to know Kim and Trish who lead each area and are impressed with their care for their employees and the residents. We are grateful for the quality of care and attention given to our parents.

My mom has been a resident of the assisted program at Inspired Living (IL) for seven months. The Executive Director Janette Radle guides her staff with patience, experience and most of all sets expectations by example. Health and Wellness Director Kim Smrekar has the experience to help her staff, residents and their families thru the challenging obstacles faced on a daily basis. Communication is an example of Kims expertise in her field. Assisted Living for residents may not always be the world they and their families want but the staff that works at IL tries their best to provide a safe and caring environment for those who reside at IL.

My mother has been at Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch for Respite Care and words cannot express how truly amazing the entire staff has been! It was very hard for us to find a place where we felt as if my mother would be happy and treated with respect and the level of care you want to see a family member receive, but everyone went above and beyond. The facility is beautiful and they take pride in keeping it extremely clean! Immediately the staff makes it a point to know the residents name, even if they are only there for a short time. When my mother decides it is time to take that next step, it will be here!
