Updated: 08/08/2024: I was involved in a meeting with one of their residents this week that is going through a very difficult time. The compassion, empathy and kindness I saw from Cheri and Diana was incredible. Their genuine care and concern for their residents goes above and beyond merely doing their job. Additionally, once we discovered that the client didn't have an emergency/fall device, it was brought to them immediately. September 2023 I recently worked with Jackie Becker to set up an event at Clarendale for their residents. She was professional throughout the process with great attention to detail. The residents were so much fun to talk to and shared with me all the different activities available to them.

We were shocked at how nice Clarendale was on our initial visit. The place is well kept, inside and out and the staff is nice and accommodating. We were especially impressed with some of the staff in the memory care side where my mom is. Maddie Owen sought us out and engaged with us. She was very attentive. Judi was also great. She answered several questions for us while we were there, and she was always working. I feel this is directly related to the leadership and management of the memory care director, Becky Neal. I am very happy and less anxious having mom at this awesome facility.

I was so impressed with this home. Living areas and amenities had a resort feel. Everything was clean and smelled like a luxury hotel. Truly a space where I look forward to visiting my mother who has Alzheimer's. Everything was warm and inviting and had a home feel versus a sad and depressing facility. Jackie gave us a tour and has been working with us. She has been very kind, sympathetic, and forthright. Her communication is always swift and informative. I will definitely feel good about having my mom live here when we are ready to place her in memory care.

My father has been living at Clarendale at Indian Lake for the last year and a half in their Memory Care unit. While this transition was difficult for all of us due to his Alzheimer's, my father has been so happy and comfortable in his new home. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the warm and caring staff. Becky Neal, the Director of Memory Care, has been amazing! Her staff, from the RN's of Branden and Carrie Anderson to all of the supporting staff are all absolutely wonderful. The communication we receive has been excellent. We know my father is in good hands and receiving the best care possible. I cannot describe how comforting that is. We are forever grateful!

My parents moved in to Clarendale at Indian Lake over a year ago and we could not ask for a better community for our family!! We lovingly refer to it as a cruise ship on land as there are always plentiful opportunities for fun ways to engage! Yesterday was the second time my grandma and I visited her friends at Clarendale for lunch. The staff are always so warm and welcoming. They make my grandma feel special and that she belongs right where she is. Alyssa and Tear waited on our table. My grandma suffers from dementia and Alysa and Tear were patient and attentive to my grandma's needs. I also have to say that I was impressed by our meals. The food is fresh and well seasoned. Chef Carl does an amazing job making you feel like you're getting a home cooked meal.

Our local Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery recently had the pleasure of visiting Clarendale at Indian Lake to conduct a cake frosting class for its residents. What a fun afternoon with lots of laughter! The facility is beautiful and homey. The staff was wonderful to work with and we had a warm welcome. They also were so kind and helpful to the residents who were in the class, giving them lots of personal attention. We frosted bundtlets and bundtinis, and they were able to take them back to their apartments and enjoy them. Special thanks to Jackie Becker, Sales Counselor, and Mark, the activities director, for spearheading this fun event and always thinking of creative ways to interact with their Clarendale community.

It's Awesome. It was such a good move on my part. I can not say anything bad about the place. I love it! It is like living in a high class resort. Everyone I have met is so kind, from management to the driver Scott. I also have the doctor, Dr. Miller, and a nurse, Diana, that come straight to my house and take the time to sit and listen to me. They make you feel special. I was out in the country by myself with my dog, and now I am here! I can not say enough good stuff. Jackie was so Kind and helpful when we first were shown the place. The food is good, and the concierge desk is helpful. My apartment is great, and I have fixed it up so cute.

I came here on January 1st 2023 and I was welcomed by numerous residents and they made me feel so at home! The staff are just amazing. Everyone took care of me when I was room bound and made sure I had what I needed. When we lost power someone came to my room immediately without me even calling to make sure my oxygen was plugged in to the back up power.

Our experience has been tremendous. The facility was built only a few years ago, and that makes each day very comfortable. But what's more important than that is the people who work there. At every turn during the last year+, throughout the organization, I have encountered self-motivated, caring people who sincerely want what is best for my mom. I haven't had to be concerned in the least for her health or safety, and she quickly got to know neighbors and staff who warmly welcomed her as a member of their community. Their intentionality in welcoming FBCH to provide spiritual services has made been enriching to my mom's faith and to mine. Of the communities I researched and toured for my mom, I have not found one that was superior to Clarendale at Indian Lake. We are sincerely thankful for everyone there.

Ken Ham is a resident in the memory care area of your facility and I would like to thank all the staff for their excellent care. I am leaving these reviews for my daughter, Jinger Rainwater. Brandon Johnson Brandon has become like a sister to me and a daughter to my father. She is always cutting up with dad, listening to him when he is upset or down. She makes certain to care for his physical needs but equally as important, Brandon shows him love and compassion. She is always quick to respond to his needs as well as mine. Brandon and all the staff take amazing care of the residents and their families. I have learned I can trust without a doubt that they will ensure he is loved, safe, and comfortable. Shy (I don't know her full name!) Shy is always SMILING! She never shows any fatigue or frustration. Whatever she is doing or is asked to do, she does so freely and quickly. Her joy is infectious to all the residents and family. Bringing smiles on some days is better medicine than what's in the plastic cup! Shy also takes great care of all the residents, treating them all with kindness and dignity. Sharonda Sharonda is so authentic. Some days in memory care are just hard for everyone. Sharonda has a great way of bringing it into perspective for us. Kind of how I imagine she does for her kids . She is most definitely a strong yet tender young lady. She seems to take each day as it comes and has a very level head. I appreciate her and the care she gives dad and all the residents. Janette Janette was the first caregiver I met when we moved dad in. I was so nervous about how he would acclimate and honestly how they would treat him, not all places are like Clarendale. Janette sensed hi immediately and took charge. It is hard for me to share the burdens, but she silently insisted, and I so needed that. Janette is one of those people you know will make sure things are right! Honestly, when I think about Janette, I think Mama! She carries the load for whoever needs help, on any given day, and doesn't hesitate to put us back on the right track when we stray a bit. I am so glad she is back. Carson He is the kindest young man. Carson loves my dad at times when he is very hard to like. He not only continues to show kindness but sometimes I think he sees the real confusion and pain dad is in and is even more compassionate with him. Carson has an amazing soul, and it shows through in his work and his smile! Suzie Suzie is just an amazing human being. She is always so happy and sweet to everyone. I have never seen her get frazzled even amid some very interesting times in the dining room. She pays close attention to the residents and exercises great judgement for their care.

I am a caregiver at Clarendale Indian Lake. I can honestly say that the residents here are happy! The staff made a very big deal of Valentine's Day, complete with a complimentary three-course steak dinner - followed by a live trio of musicians providing music to dance by, which included champagne and dessert. What impressed me the most was the massive poster board of wedding photos of the residents...the staff had gathered these wedding photos prior to Valenetine's Day, and then posted them in the lobby....talk about engaing the residents in social interaction! Everyone loved seeing all these old wedding pictures! As I visit Clarendale Indian Lake several times a week, I see where multiple interesting activities are going on all day long. The food is great, and the chef likes to come out of the kitchen and speak to the residents frequently! Truly, the staff at Clarendale Indian Lake is amazing!!! They are so good at creating a warm and inviting culture. I would recomend this community to anyone!

My mom moved to Clarendale at Indian Lake in independent living two months ago. We have been pleased with how attentive the staff has been. It was not an easy move for my mom because she was leaving her home of over 40 years but she is finding her way and feeling at home in her apartment. Her favorite weekly event is worshipping with her new friends on Sunday morning as they watch the 9:45 Hendersonville First Baptist Church service on the big screen. No regrets moving her to Clarendale! It is a friendly and happy environment.

My Mom is a resident of Clarendale of Indian Lake and seeing her enjoy her home makes her children, grandchildren and friends very happy. From the beginning we were welcomed with open arms! The staff is amazing. Not only are they professional but are loving and caring. The facility is top notch including her apartment, the dining rooms, the salon and all other amenities. Mom has participated in exercise programs, ice cream socials, movie matinees, bunco, painting, creating jewelry and other crafts, playing noodle ball and more. There are so many opportunities to become involved and meet new friends! I feel that I know the staff and Mom's friends personally! We visited every potential retirement facility in our area and we are very satisfied with our choice!

My mom was in advanced stages of liver failure after battling breast cancer for nearly 10 years. I knew I needed to get her somewhere quickly and the Clarendale staff BENT OVER BACKWARDS! They moved things around so we could get in quickly and provide her with the care she so desperately needed. Although she was only there for 12 days before she passed, the staff treated her as if she had been there for years. My mom was very stubborn and adamant that she not "go to assisted living" because she felt like it signaled "the end". Having seen the care and support she received in such a short time, I wish we had moved her sooner. I can't say enough good things about our short but precious time with Clarendale.

Living for almost three years in the assisted living section of the community, I can say that I really like this place and call it my home. I love to participate in many activities offered: besides weekly bingo, craft class, musical performances, I play lots of games- poker, joker, bunco, rook, hand and foot, dominoes and others that I learned here. Trips to the grocery stores, and department stores, library are offered too. When I desire "quiet time" I can sit outside on one of the three patios, do a puzzle in a quiet room, or relax in my own room. A recently added jeopardy challenge and trivia sessions have me participating even more. Our movie room offers three or more movies per week. I can be busy with activities or enjoy quiet time, it's all up to me!

They are great at wearing costumes for our special events.. they keep the morale of the residents up and make it a very fun atmosphere. Housekeeping led by Trudy do a great job. At 80 years young, I have the freedom to do as I please while having the reassurance of safety and lots of conveniences. Kaitlyn Zadick was in charge of activities and did a great job getting everyone involved and interacted so well with all the residents. There were more who cared for her and I wish I knew all the names to leave on this review. I highly recommend this facility for your aging family member. It is also clean and very inviting.

Clarendale at Indian Lake is a beautiful community with a warm and wonderful staff. Everyone I've met there always has a smile. They have lots of amazing activities and always seem to be having fun. Kentucky Derby party, Happy hours, music, trips to theaters and concerts are some of the things I've seen or read about just in the last couple of months. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new place to live for themselves or their loved one.

Clarendale at Indian Lake in Hendersonville, TN, continues to be a place that makes my clients happy, and that in turn makes me happy. Success for me is when my clients have peace of mind and are as happy as they can possibly be. Transitioning is never easy for an aging person or their family. Change is often difficult and challenging for us all, especially when we transition from the place we called home to a place where we have not known. Working with Clarendale has been overwhelmingly an amazing experience. Beginning with sales and administrative staff they worked with every need and requirement we asked about. Moving mom into memory care the entire staff showed us nothing but kindness and understanding. The memory care staff went above and beyond taking care of mom and making her feel as comfortable as she could be in her new environment. I just want to take this time to say a few words regarding Clarendale. My parents moved in almost 6 weeks ago from a facility in MI. And it has been the best decision we could have made. The staff from Cheri in marketing, to Wanda at the front desk, to Cindy the executive director to Megan the director of nursing and all the staff in between are exemplary!!! They take time to compassionately and kindly meet the needs of my parents. They helped make the transition almost seamless and are continually making adjustments to better serve my parents. The food is top notch and the amenities are country club level. Please consider this facility when looking for a home for your loved ones!

Having lived at several other senior properties, I feel qualified to state that Clarendale is an excellent community and where I happily call home. The building and grounds are new, modern, clean, and up to date. The staff could not be better! From the senior management to all who are here to serve the residents - everyone is highly qualified, friendly, and very caring. The food and food service is outstanding and compares nicely with local median priced restaurants. I highly recommend Clarendale to anyone seeking such accommodations for themselves or for their loved ones.

I lived alone in a 2-story home in Hendersonville for many years. When navigating the stairs and driving became more difficult, my family and I agreed that I should try something different. So I moved to Clarendale. I was anxious and didnt know what to expect. The people here are extremely friendly. They cant seem to do enough for you. The place is beautiful inside and out. There are plenty of things to do each day and I can pick and choose what I want. Ive enjoyed making some new friends and like playing card games in the afternoons. The staff in the kitchen is super and the food is delicious. Tre has been so nice and helped me with all the details of moving and getting settled in my new place. Everyone is available and willing to please, including the management staff. My cat, Tyler, and I are very happy here.
