I’ve had a very positive experience with this facility. The staff is caring and make residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected. They genuinely care about the residents who live here. The facility is very clean and Patty at the front desk almost always has a warm, welcoming presence. When I see the residents Thursdays for chair yoga, I try to make the residents smile with my dad jokes that usually only staff laugh at. I would confidently recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

I recently visited my friend yesterday who resides at Arbor Terrace Glenview, and I was truly impressed by the warm and welcoming environment. It was wonderful to see my friend so happy, engaged, and actively participating in the thoughtfully planned daily activities. She shared how much she appreciates the care and attention she receives from the team. I was especially impressed to learn that the Engagement Director personally connects with residents during breakfast each morning, encouraging them to participate in the day’s programs and helping them feel involved and valued. Seeing my friend so cheerful and thriving gave me great peace of mind. The entire community felt vibrant and caring, with staff members who appeared genuinely dedicated and motivated. I also noticed the Executive Director making rounds and ensuring that residents’ needs were being met and that everything was running smoothly. Arbor Terrace Glenview truly feels like a place where residents are cared for with compassion, respect, and attention. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and engaging community for their loved one.

We are at the beginning of this journey, and Arbor Terrace has been a wonderful start. Because I live many miles and states away, I had to rely on internet research, phone conversations, a virtual tour, and emails to gather information in order to make this important decision. After researching many communities, I chose Arbor Terrace for my family member. After interacting and communicating with Sherry, Lisa, Shelly, Gauri, and Carah, I knew Arbor Terrace was where I wanted my uncle to be. Jackie, the ED, sent a warm welcome that was much appreciated. Everyone ” from the front receptionist to every staff member I have interacted with ” has been supportive, caring, and extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. They have provided reassurance and peace of mind, especially since I cannot be there in person. Most importantly, my uncle is stable, thriving, and enjoying activities and opportunities that give him purpose each day. The staff has paid close attention to his individual abilities and needs, and they have even engaged him in entertaining other residents! Because of the care and wide variety of activities at Arbor Terrace, he has been exposed to experiences and opportunities he never would have had otherwise. Thank you to everyone at Arbor Terrace!!!! I look forward to building a strong and lasting relationship for my uncle’s continued care and well-being.

Gauri and Roxy are great Activities people with the assisted residents and Jackie is a very friendly Executive Director. I don't recall the name of the lady in memory care but she is super nice, very hands on with the residents, you can tell she cares. If my mother was in this state I would seriously look into Arbor Terrace as her new retirement home. I highly recommend this wonderful facility.

You can authentically feel the care, thought, and effort that goes into creating meaningful experiences for residents. The new director, Gauri, has brought such a strong sense of organization, proactivity, and thoughtful structure to the program. Her leadership is evident in how polished and well-planned everything feels. She has made the visitor experience incredibly welcoming and easy to engage with, especially when it comes to creating meaningful one-on-one moments with residents. I also want to recognize Kendra in Evergreen (memory care). She brings such wonderful energy to the space”it feels vibrant, warm, and inviting. You can tell she puts real heart into making her residents feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for. Equally deserving of recognition is the compassionate care team who make the day-to-day experience for residents feel safe, supported, and genuinely human. From the nursing staff to the resident assistants, med techs, and caregivers, there is a clear attentiveness and kindness in the way residents are supported. It’s often the quieter, behind-the-scenes moments that say the most”staff taking time to check in, offering comfort, responding patiently, and treating residents with dignity and respect. That level of compassionate care does not go unnoticed. What I love most is the opportunity to spend genuine quality time building relationships, creating deep connections, and making each visit feel special. These are the kinds of moments that remind you how important human connection is and how much of a difference thoughtful programming can make. My first visit, along with some family members. Very clean and attractive, and the staff were hospitable and helpful. I was invited to join the afternoon bingo game and was made to feel at home. I noticed Rinya, one of the staff members, being very pleasant and energetic and helpfully interacting with many residents, as they sat around the tables. No one seemed alone or neglected (as I've seen in other senior residences). It was a good first impression.

I recently visited Arbor Terrace Glenview and had such a lovely experience spending time with the residents. One of my favorite parts of the visit was participating in the crafts and creative activities”the activities department is incredibly creative and does an excellent job coming up with engaging art projects and meaningful programming. I truly enjoyed talking with the residents, listening to their stories, and experiencing the warm sense of community. Happy hour was especially fun, with a karaoke-style atmosphere and live ukulele music by Rin, who runs the Bridges program and brought such wonderful energy to the event. I also spent time in memory care and was so impressed by Fia, the coordinator. She has amazing energy, is incredibly attentive, and it’s clear how much she cares about supporting and helping the residents. The new director, Gauri, also made a wonderful impression. She seems genuinely invested in making sure residents feel heard, supported, and well cared for, which speaks volumes about the leadership and culture of the community. Overall, Arbor Terrace Glenview feels warm, welcoming, and full of thoughtful, engaging experiences for residents. I would absolutely come back to visit!

Our experience with Arbor Terrace in Glenview was exceptional. We brought our mother to live at Arbor after living in another facility in Northbrook that was tremendously awful. The contrast between the two facilities was night and day. Arbor’s staff is incredibly amazing and devoted. Lisa, the sales director, was so helpful from the beginning to the end with every detail we needed answered. She genuinely cared about our mom’s well-being and ours. The health staff, especially Guillermo and Jose, were always so attentive and on call with my mom’s and our every need. The front staff, especially Joyce, was always friendly and knew all of us by name. Jackie, the director, also knew us personally, and was flexible and kind to our family. Roxy, one of the activity coordinators, was so cheery and helpful to our mom. The facility was clean, well-serviced, and there was a great array of activities for the assisted living side as well as the secured memory care side. We always felt like our mom was safe and cared for. We ate there on several occasions and the food was great in terms of quality and rotation. While this was an incredibly difficult time for our family, Arbor was such a great place that it made our experience with a tragic disease so much easier. My parents lived at Arbor Terrace Glenview for six years. We found the staff to be kind and treat all the residents respectfully. If we had concerns about our parents health or a specific situation, all we had to do was call and someone would follow up on the situation. The Care staff and nurses Guillermo and Joey were wonderful. We could tell they genuinely cared about all the residents. Guillermo was definitely our go to for anything going on with my parents, Medical issues and concerns were handled discreetly. They not only got to know the residents that lived there they got to know the entire family.. the entire staff got to know all the residents personal preferences from the time they woke up, food preferences , activity preferences, to the time they like to go to bed. The bridges memory program was very helpful to my mother. We appreciated Dawnes leadership of it.n

I am 78 years old, have lived at here for 4 1/2 years and I am thankful everyday that my daughter and son found Arbor Terrace at Glenview. I felt welcomed and safe from the beginning and reassured that there would always be a professional and yes, caring, person to respond to all my needs, medical and otherwise. I love being as independent as possible among a friendly and compassionate group of caregivers who have become my family. My children and relatives are free to visit, have a little party for me, or take me out for a visit or appointment. I can wander around with my walker, talk to other residents or just stay in my apartment and read, watch a DVD and work on my embroidery. There are many activities going on which I can join or pass by. And when I don’t feel well, I can just take time out and be wrapped in my room in a cocoon of safety, warmth and love. I came to Arbor Terrace after a bone break, anxious and afraid of the healing and changes that lay before me. I was met with such kindness and compassion by the entire staff. It feels like the staff is family and no one made me feel like a burden. Activities are there to help us get to know each other - which is such a great idea! From the start, the entire process of transitioning both here and back home, were made seamless for me. There was one particular staff member named Carla, that touched my life and gave me a fighting spirit. She came to me and met me where I was: scared and afraid. She let me know that I was Seen and Heard - my struggles, valid. I could always count on her for a listening ear. But she never let me feel sorry for myself. She never let me give up. The way she could connect with me was a little gift from God. Arbor Terrace is lucky to have found her. And for the other things: Food is served in a lovely dining area and feels like going out to eat. The food is good ( desserts are even better!) and a great variety to choose from. The wait staff was friendly and made it a point to remember my name and what I like to eat. Nice sittings areas, plentiful board games ( table top jumbo checkers is particularly fun) and puzzles...and even a piano. The setting itself is very pleasant and it just feels good to be there. The PT and OT therapists were able to break down the steps it takes to reach a goal and helped me reach each one! And always with an encouraging word for m. No one here let me get away with anything - even if I was scared. It was just what I needed. My stay at Arbor Terrace was a compassionate healing experience.

They quickly responded, were able to accommodate meetings and visits asap. Arbor Terrace team met my dad in rehab for an evaluation two days later. Responsiveness, transparency in pricing/costs, attention to detail all are top notch. the facility is clean, new, and offers alot for seniors all while maintaining a more intimate home/like feel. would recommend this facility to any and all. IMO- this is the gold standard for affordable senior living.

Our Mom lived at Arbor Terrace and loved it. When she was in rehab, all she could talk about was going back. It was a great place for our Mom to live. Our Mom loved living there. It is beautiful and clean. A special shout out to Frances Garcia, she is absolutely amazing. Not only was she friendly and always there to answer our questions and we had a lot, she was a great friend to our Mom. In our Mom's final days, she would spend her free time sitting with our Mom, just being there as her friend.

June 2,2022, was the worst day of my life, I thought, as I prepared to move into an assisted living facility. Little did I know at the time that moving to Arbor Terrace Glenview was one of the best things I've ever done. No more being a 24/7 caregiver; no more heavy grocery shopping every week; no more housework; laundry, meal preparation; and no more monthly bills i.e. ComEd, Condo assessments, etc, etc. All of this and more was waiting for me as I discovered Arbor Terrace. Without a doubt this place is spectacular. It checks all the boxes. My mother recently moved into Arbor Terrace Glenview. This was my first time navigating the stressful process of finding my mother an assisted living facility, and Lisa was a wealth of knowledge, so understanding and supportive through the process. The community is beautiful and clean. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. My mother has had nothing but great things to say about the people helping her there. Her first few days she was very emotional with the changes happening, and there was constantly someone in her room comforting her and just talking to her to keep her spirits up. Recently she told me one of the nurses stayed past her shift to paint her nails after she had been talking about wanting to go get them done. That to me is just going above and beyond, and being there because you genuinely love people/your patients. My mother has also enjoyed getting to know the other residents and by day 2 already had a group of friends to eat with in the dining room, which of course was so good to hear. My kids love going to visit Grammy at Arbor Terrace. The popcorn machine and the treats that the ladies give them probably doesn't hurt 🙂 We are confident that Arbor Terrace will quickly feel like home for my mom and a place she is happy at long term.

Atria, together with FOX Rehab and the Glenview Park District, held a Zoom exercise class for seniors in the Glenview area! It was such a great way to bring everyone together, get heart rates going, challenge balance, build strength and promote laughter and smiles! Atria is always thinking of ways to include those outside the community and in residential homes and get involved! This community is amazing and highly recommended!

My impression of Atria Glenview to date has been fantastic, not only for its beautifully designed and appointed residential community, but most especially for the people who have helped me and my sister find the best possible place for her to live while convalescing from a very difficult year, medically and psychologically. As anyone searching for appropriate Independent/Assisted living for a loved one will know, there are many types of communities out there with different overall characteristics and pricing structures. Not all are equal. We have found Atria Glenview to have a very warm, homey and comfortable/comforting vibe. It's a smaller place than some, which, in our case, was a benefit -- less institutional and more apartment/hotel-like. Samantha, the Community Sales Director, went well out of her way to be accessible and supportive to us from the beginning of our search, answering questions about types of care, facilitating a visit with very little notice, acting as our liaison with Bryce (Executive Director) and Jeremy (the Resident Services Director) to get timely evaluations done to determine my sister's needs and to address our financial concerns for a shorter-term stay. Samantha is a caring, responsive and reassuring professional to work with. When we made the decision to move my sister into Atria, the apartment was furnished beautifully and comfortably, with little touches that made us feel this was a place to come home to and not just "a room for the duration". For someone trying to heal from a very trying and lengthy ordeal, those little things mean a lot. It was obvious they had listened carefully to our description of how best to use the space, as it was set up exactly as we had envisioned when my sister took possession. Everyone we've met -- from Gloria in the dining room (which has delicious food!) to John and Mitchell in maintenance, to Ericka who drives the Atria bus -- has been extraordinary in what seems to be their natural affinity for "taking care" of people. We've encountered only good-natured attitudes and friendly faces. I can't speak to the Medical or PT side of this community, as those are not services we are currently using. But from the personnel and ambience side, I would give them more than 5 stars if I could! Be sure to include this community in your search and I think you'll see why it stands out.

My husband moved into Atria in the middle of July and I describe the entire process as an answer to my prayers. He is so happy there and is thriving! The staff is amazing and accommodates any and all of his needs, whether personal or medical and they keep me updated on everything. The activities planned are fun and engaging and he enjoys them all! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would and can promise if you are looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with respect and kindness you won't be disappointed in Atria.

Our family has moved our parent into the memory care unit at Atria in August. Our experience from the move in process until today has been great. The administration and staff have been so accommodating and helpful during this transition time. In addition, they keep us informed on how she is doing and which daily activities she is attending. The nursing staff has also been wonderful. We feel that she is now in an appropriate environment and she is very happy there. The staff and facility are terrific and our family is grateful that we found Atria.

Atria of Glenview truly is a standout community. Not only are the grounds beautiful, but it is filled with some of the most welcoming, caring individuals you will meet. Atria is such a welcoming community! The staff is wonderful and they go above and beyond to meet the needs and wants of every resident. There are daily activities to fit a variety of interests and they are always willing to take suggestions of new activities, community outings, or ways to improve. The facilities are clean and beautiful but also offer a wide range of additional shared spaces including a fitness center with classes and in house therapy services, an arts and crafts room, a cafe, a salon, a game room, and even a theatre room!! Atria is a community that truly feels like a home.

Simply beautiful! "What did I just walk into?" It feels like you're at a 5-star-hotel! Classy...clean...chic. The staff are all very professional and accommodating. Need a snack? The lobby is always stocked with goodies that change daily and selections of coffee and tea. The dining room is set-up like a restaurant with booths and chairs. All of the apartments are modern and spacious! The community offers tons of activities including in-house therapy. It's like being at a resort yet your loved one will actually be right-at-home and treated like the King or Queen he or she deserves! Won't disappoint!
