Rock is a great facility with all the amenities one could need for a Skilled Nursing Facility. Their therapy team is excellent and they have a huge gym with all the modalities. Their nursing staff is always very approachable and courteous with answering any question you may have or tending to anything you may require help with. All of the managers are very polite and willing to lend an ear to talk to or a hand for assistance. You can tell they pride themselves in top level customer service. I would highly recommend anyone who is requiring any rehab or skilled nursing services to look at the Center at Rock Creek

It was sad to see the recent reviews of former staff. True, some of the staff may feel overwhelmed, as it is a lot to care for the elderly, but the elderly are scared, and many are afraid of never coming home. I feel that if these staff members had had the opportunity to work with Jay Christopher, they would have stayed. We are a patient’s family, and Jay went above and beyond to help us with my MIL’s stay. She is a true gem and an amazing advocate for families! Jay listens to not only the needs of the family but the needs of the patients. She fights for well-being! She fights for safe discharges, even if the Insurance companies differ in their opinions. Thank you, Jay for everything. You are the BEST!!!!

My mother was at The Center at Rock Creek for about two weeks. The care she received was a "mixed bag". We were promised that all my mom's special needs would be met but on arrival, it was clear that The Center was unable to provided them. We ended up contracting with a very expensive private nursing agency to get her needs met. That said, the rehab doctors and many of the CNAs were great. When can time for mom to come home, Jay C., the Discharge Planner went "above and beyond" to help us get mom home. We left with a smile on our face thanks to her efforts.

Had such a horrible experience. They don't have enough help the day nurse Lori was awesome but none of the rest. They made me sit in bed for 35 min after using buzzer then finally got me in bathroom and left me potty for one hour couldn't get anyone to help me at night at all I would have to call desk and ask them to please send someone to help me out was horrible especially when your already sick. The good was awful just saying. Stayed.in my wheelchair for 5 days except when sleeping

The center at rock creek took amazing care of my dad during his stay! From the moment we heard he would need therapy we were nervous, Raina in admissions eased our mind, the nurses and aides were extremely attentive, Emily in therapy always challenged my dad to do more so he can get better, Jay answered all of our questions in the next steps for discharge and Bob was always there to lend a helping hand. We are beyond grateful for the experience we had!

Recently we placed our ninety seven year old family member at the Center at Rock Creek for a second rehabilitation stay. The first stay was successful in getting him back-up on his feet quickly, and this time it saved his life. We worked with Jay and Bob who lent their experience, professionalism, and unparalleled support to an extremely tenuous situation in helping our family member overcome the effects of of double pneumonia. They did such a fantastic job that he wants to stay at Rock Creek and transition up to assisted living. The food is excellent, the facilities are amazing, and the care is phenomenal.

My mom stayed in Rock Creek's rehab center for 1.5 weeks after being released from the hospital until they were able to wean her off of oxygen. The OT and PT staff who worked with her daily were very friendly, professional, and supportive and specifically addressed her medical needs. The entire staff including nursing and administrative were also very friendly and attentive and helped to make the time she spent there as comfortable as possible.

I have been at this facility over 20 days now. Last Friday I tried to get a hold of the case worker because someone from financing came to explain that my insurance benefits would end on Sunday. She went on to explain after I told her I was on SSDI & made very little money so I needed to be discharged because I was already stretched to the limit as I have tons of medical bills from doctors. Specialist, hospital etc. She proceeded to explain if I left as apposed to if I stayed, however my issue was I was going to have 21 days not covered by insurance. So as of today I have been working on this discharge & have gotten nowhere. The phone at front desk isn't answered as it should be & I have even made calls from my room to try to get the hospitalist, case worker, anyone who could address my problem Then I was reminded if I left the facility I would be billed in full for my entire stay because if I'm not its going against their medical advice. I read the reviews and every complaint these unhappy people posted about this place by the unhappy patients or their family is true. Im supposed to be trying to get to the bathroom but it had to be with help. When I'd press my call light it could take from 15 minutes to 2+ hours to wait for someone to come help, well by then its too late. So I had to explain to my therapist because I believe they didn't believe me. So this entire time I've been here ive been in adult diapers which are very uncomfortable. There is a lot of drama here. We were (all of us in the same hall) were subjected to a nurse & another Cna I believe she was. Screaming at each other in the hallway. I did express to a staff member that I understood they were busy & short staffed. She was a bit angry over that statement I made and said "who told you we were short staffed? Because we're not. " I just replied that the nurses & cna's. I could go on, but it seems you've been made aware by all of the negative reviews. I dont know if anyone even reads them. On a good note I'd like to say that there are some great nurses and most of the cna's I had were so caring & concerned about the way im feeling everyday. However it doesn't seem like a lot of the staff are not caring about the patients they are still human beings.

Things started out pretty well but the day I was to be discharged was horrible. I was finally told by the discharge person (after WEEKS of hearing NOTHING) I'd be able to leave with a wound vac on because that was crucial, even though I didn't think I could. She said she'd make sure. My mom and I waited ALL day for wound nurse or anyone to put vac back on only to be told nope, not possible. In conclusion, communication SUCKS there.Oh, and they are also VERY under staffed its ridiculous. I do want to give a huge shout out to the nurses, Sara and Lorry, they are wonderful.

I have been here for a few weeks and it has been a great experience. The nurses are attentive and great with cares. PT and OT are both great and have helped me improve tremendously since I have been here. Food is good and there are many fast food options around if you are wanting something else. Admin is very thorough and wise when answering questions you have. Facility is very nice and has many outdoor places to sit or take a ride in a wheelchair.

The Center at Rock Creek is amazing! From the beginning, our family engaged with the Director of Admissions, Aleshia, who successfully navigated us through the enrollment process to get one of our family members admitted for extreme insomnia that was affecting his overall health. Aleshia's help made all the difference, as she was professional, caring, and had him admitted within 48 hours. While at the Center of Rock Creek our family member worked with an overall case worker, and occupational and physical therapists who were all extremely knowledgeable and professional. We visited the Center at Rock Creek every couple of days and witnessed first-hand the exceptional levels of expertise by all of the staff, the cleanliness, high-quality facility and physical therapy room/equipment, services, and food. Our family member improved immediately and has experienced significant improvement in his strength, balance, and restful nights of sleep once again. We would not be where we are today without the wonderful help by all professionals and Aleshia at the Center at Rock Creek - so thank you once again on behalf of our very grateful family! Robyn

My mother was admitted to the Center at Rock Creek for rehab due to complications with a knee replacement. We did not have a good experience at the center. The website for Rock Creek is very deceptive, and is touted as providing "unparalleled comfort" with "exceptional skilled nursing and rehabilitation." We found the center to be very understaffed and had concerns about cleanliness. In all fairness, there were some nurses and CNA's- that were very patient and hard-working. The physical and occupational therapists were also good, but could only provide limited services due to time constraints. Everyone was just stretched too thin. Unfortunately, there were also some staff that were under-trained and rough. When the call button was pushed for help (bathroom, ice, etc.) it was not uncommon to wait 30-45 minutes. During the most important time of her rehab, my mother didn't receive the amount of physical therapy that she should have received (working her knee so scar tissue wouldn't build up, etc) and she was set back in her rehabilitation. We had my mother transferred to another rehab facility due to our numerous concerns with Center at Rock Creek. We found Rock Creek to be more of an understaffed nursing home setting than a rehab facility.

I went to Rock Creek for PT/OT following a spinal fusion that I had done at MCR. The staff at Rock creek were phenomenal. They were accommodating and I was very impressed with the professionalism of my nurses - Kelly and Sarah; and therapists Tye, Brad, and Julie. The food was also out of this world- will definitely be recommending RC to all of my friends and family!! Thanks again!!

Doesn't provide the services they sign on doing especially if the client is handicapped. Mistakes made in the meds horrible quality of physical & occupational therapy. Abusive treatment at the night shift from CNA and Nurses. Average for the morning shift. Lying to the clients assuming that they are ignorant of insurance laws. I would never recommend it to any friends or family.

I also would leave NO stars and a negative rating if I could. I don't even know where to start! She had supplements that WE provided thrown away in error because they manufacture date was read as an expiration date. They had no right to throw anything away! We could have resolved the error or returned them for a refund if they were indeed expired. They only did what was necessary with her. After Medicare refused to insure her because of her "refusal" to participate in PT, she was ignored and neglected. I had to cut her toenails because they refused to do so over some BS policy. I've been a CNA and that is one of their jobs. Basically they were afraid of harming her which is BS. There is such a thing as taking your time and being careful. Multiple times I walked in to see people at the nurses station on the computer or doing NOTHING. Multiple times my Mom told me that she would ask for help and they would turn around and walk out while telling her they didn't have time or were too busy! She was treated as if she no longer mattered because they weren't "making any money off her". This is what the admissions director of the new facility she is in was told when she took my Mom out of there! Since when does it matter what a facility looks like (hotel setting)? That to me means that the are more concerned with esthetics than the quality of care they DON'T provide! They also threw away her plants because the ambulance refused to take them with the rest of her stuff when she transferred. I guess because they couldn't just throw them in a bag like they did everything else! I live an hour away and I didn't think I had to go up there to supervise what was going on but I SHOULD HAVE! Then I get lip service from Jarod (maintenance director) who made it seem like he was the one in charge when he's NOT; that he would do better next time with stuff like that after he saw how I was affected that they could just THROW away a living thing in the TRASH. Does that tell you anything? Oh and there is the constant rotation of staff where NO ONE knows what's going on from day to day. Every day I had to talk to someone different about my mom and reiterate her "story" so they were all on the same page. I also had issues with communicating with her so-called "case manager". She NEVER returned a call even when I asked. I had to be available when SHE called and I had to call out how my Mom was being treated when I was told the reason they had a hard time finding a new place for her was because of her attitude! Her attitude sucked because they didn't show her ANY love; AT ALL. She was left to herself ALL DAY. The NEVER took her out into the common area in a wheel chair to visit with other people. She was there from March '22 until beginning of November and she got a shower ONCE! These people did as little as possible with her and only the bare minimum. I think what is going on here also is that not only are they short staffed, which doesn't help, but the employees are under some policy where they are not allowed to criticize their employer which is TOTAL BS!!! That is suppression of FREE SPEECH which is what we have in this country! How is change going to happen if you can't voice your concerns? I feel bad for these people but they have to get over their fear of losing their job and rise up to the way this "business" is being run. I also found out that their parent company, Veritas, is run by a GROUP of doctors that never see their patients and is traded on Wall St! When are people going to take priority again? This is ABSURD! A large corporation is in charge of all of these "Centers" which always are focused on PROFIT, not people. She was also at the Center in Greeley where they put a catheter in my Mom so they wouldn't have to put up with her incontinence! They also cut her hair against her will. I could go on but basically you get the idea. I encourage you to contact me at [removed] if you have similar complaints. I WILL be making a formal complaint about both Centers to the State as well. They WILL investigate. I'm thinking a class action lawsuit is in order. I'll be checking back to see if this gets erased also. 😉

We were so impressed by every single staff member we worked with, in all departments! They far exceeded our expectations in caring for my mom, and for our entire family. Watch your billing! Rock Creek owes my mom $500. This rating is not about the care but the inaccurate billing. Starting in February I have been asking Christine in billing for a refund for a day that my mom did not spend in Center. I have been calling a few times a week and I’ve only gotten through to their billing department 3x. First Christne ask me to. Wpait until the end of February but I never did hear from her. Today is March 21 2022 and still no answer when I called again today. Once again I was told I’d get a call back but so far nothing. Very poor in the billing department.

After learning my mother's cancer had returned and was no longer able to care for herself this was by far the best place my wife and I could have picked for her, the staff were not only professional but made her feel at home. If I could leave a negative rating I would! My father was there to do rehab after suffering a stroke and recovering from surgery. He had clothes in a drawer and all of a sudden they came up missing. When the director was confronted about the missing items he asked if I could identify any of the clothing. I told him yes all my father's clothes were labeled with his name. The very next day the clothes showed up. The room ALWAYS had a odor when I asked the staff about it they would say housekeeping has not cleaned that room yet. I informed the director the room had an odor and the floor was sticky. How was this a hospital type setting if the rooms were not clean?! My father was left in a wheelchair for more than 3 hours and was injured when he was moved from a wheel chair back to the bed. The social worker could never be reached either by phone or email. It was a joke trying to reach her. I finally ended up going through the director to get everything accomplished. Then when it came time to move my father, I had to do all the leg work, they did not even tell me when my father was accepted by a facility! I sent several emails and called no response. The facility we chose we had to set everything up so my father could be moved and then the social worked from the new facility had to go over to the Center at Rock Creek to obtain paperwork and have him moved. The Center for Rock Creek needs to be evaluated by the health department and the Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Ive looked at several locations. But The Center at Rock Creek outshined any we've toured! Immediately upon entery I was greeted with a huge smile and wave from a physical therapist to the right in a state of the art facility for therapy needs. And then Meghan the receptionist introduced herself with a huge welcoming smile. Talked to me about the process my loved one would go through upon entry in this time of covid and what to expect next! Another employee with a huge smile joined in the conversation (wish Id gotten her name) Desiree Wingstrom came out and joyfully welcomed me as well. Desiree showed me floor plans, prices and also went through proceedures and what to expect. Upon finding out my loved one was approved to join their community... I actually cryed happy tears knowing that this beautiful place with all the wonderful staff would be the ones caring for my loved one!!! No more stress...drove home completely relieved to have found a place above all expectations that I am 100% comfortable and confident will provide the same care I do for my loved one!!!! The place is beautiful but the staff make it soooooo much more beautiful!

The only reason they are receiving 2 stars and not one is for the very few staff members that were nice. Unfortunately, this center does not care about their patients the way they claim. I was the MPA for my friend/roommate and she was supposed to come home on January 15th. That day, I was on my way to bring her wheelchair to the center and I received a call from the hospital. The rehab had taken her to her appointment at the hospital the morning of the 14th but they had admitted her because she had a fever and was incoherent. No one called me from center of rock creek nor the hospital to inform me she had been admitted. She ended up having Covid and passing away on the 16th. When I arranged to pick up her belongings, I gave them plenty of notice of when I would be there and they did not have it ready and the front desk lady was very rude about it. I have yet to hear from them and have tried to get a hold of them to return their wheelchair and oxygen tank that was left at the hospital. They could care less that one of their own patients (that had been under their care for 2 months) died 2 days after they dropped her off at the hospital. I will be dropping off the wheelchair but I am extremely disappointed in how they handled this situation. Center of Rock Creek, Silence speaks Volumes.
